"All the glory and praise to the most High! My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has not only blessed me with life, but He has also blessed me with the ability to write and connect with humans in this capacity. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for such a gift. I love you, but Jesus loves you more. Until next time!"
I absolutely adored this book. From the very first chapter, I was hooked, and I honestly couldn’t put it down.
The banter between Hunter and Charlotte was one of my favorite parts. It never felt forced—it was witty, effortless, and had me smiling the entire time. Their chemistry was incredible, and the slow burn only made every little moment between them even sweeter. Cheyenne knows exactly how to build tension without rushing the romance.
I also loved the renovation aspect of the story. It’s not a trope I normally gravitate toward, but it added so much charm and made the story feel fresh. Watching them work together while their relationship slowly developed was so much fun.
Cheyenne’s writing is absolutely beautiful. She has such an immersive style that makes you feel every emotion right alongside the characters. Their personalities were so well developed that I felt like I truly understood not only what they were feeling, but why they were feeling it. That emotional depth made me connect with Hunter and Charlotte even more.
I absolutely loved the faith elements woven in so naturally.
As a fellow Valentine’s Day baby, I couldn’t help but feel an extra little connection to our MC’s, which made me love them even more.
This story was sweet, heartfelt, full of laugh-out-loud banter, and packed with delicious slow-burn tension. It was my first book by her, but it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to read more of this series!
What a lovely enemies-to-lovers story. I absolutely adored reading this book. Having not read the first book in the No Love Lost Series, I was concerned I might be missing something, but the story stands on its own and does a fantastic job of integrating new readers into the universe. Charlotte and Hunter were beautiful leads who came alive on the page, each with their own journeys and stories that kept them from being flat. I enjoyed watching the romance unfold, and I appreciated that their banter changed shape/intention rather than fading altogether. The faith elements integrated into the story were beautiful as well.
This was a sweet and fast-paced romance. I enjoyed the banter between the MCs and watching their relationship unfold once they started getting to know each other while working together. Both characters felt real and had their own journey making them relatable. Also I loved all the designing details of their job.
I wished there would’ve been more moments about Charlotte opening herself to Hunter. I kind of felt that only Hunter was showing his vulnerable side most of the time. Also, I hope next story revisit what happened to Harley.
* This is a closed-door romance with faith elements * Thanks the author for this E-ARC opportunity. All the opinions expressed are purely my own.
I had the pleasure of reading this book before its release, and I thoroughly enjoyed the story! The witty banter had me laughing out loud. I appreciate the dual POV, which made it easier to connect with both main characters. They were imperfect and relatable, which I deeply appreciate. The story lived up to its blurb as a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance that honored God throughout. I highly recommend giving it a read!
Such a sweet love story. I love Cheyenne Pajardo’s writing - clean, Christ-centered romance. This one has a fun dynamic between 2 interior designers who reluctantly work on a project together and start to grow on one another. I enjoyed the banter between them and all the interior design details. Highly recommend!!!
This was such an enjoyable, fun, romance that had me laughing in some parts and shaking my head at the two main characters in others. The enemy to love trope was well written and I truly liked the spiritual truths throughout the book, as well as the author making the characters realistic and "human".
This was such an easy and enthralling read!! I love the enemies to lovers trope and this one was exceptionally well done. Fate (the good Lord) certainly wanted these two to be together. Charlotte and Hunter's journey from enemies to lovers was very sweet and seemed to develop so naturally. I highly recommend reading this book!
