I really enjoyed this one! It was fast-paced and kept me hooked. I wanted to keep reading to see where Takashi’s adventures would take him next.
I was especially intrigued by Genkichi and am looking forward to learning more about him in book three.
After everything Takashi went through, I didn’t realize how badly I just wanted this man to have a proper place to sleep and some decent food. 😭 There was something so relieving about finally seeing him home, safe, fed, and able to rest. The ending really touched me…especially seeing him finally allow himself to feel everything he’d been carrying after everything he’d endured.
Looking forward to book three!
