Zion
I don't know I guess I was looking for a bigger ending but I knew it wasn't done Zion seemed like he's gonna be a problem And he can't even buy alcohol yet I hope he dismounted the hollow Waiting for the next series And I spoke too soon hopefully in the next series the sentence fragments reading will stop finish the sentence please 😑

I’m so glad the wedding is over and Tristan and his brother bishop have been dealt with. This was getting redundant. I’m excited to see how Zion handles his new journey with the hollow. Glad he’s stepping out on his own two feet bc both his parents were starting to get aggy.
P.S. Girl you got to find another word besides “grounded” when it comes to crown and nirvanas relationship
My thoughts while reading:
- [ ] Nirvana I’m so tired of you. You so pressed about going to Brittany’s funeral and you KNEW the cost. Always trying to flex that you’re a DA. Baby that don’t matter when you’re engaged to a certified thug. Now you acting surprised that they just took crown away from the funeral in cuffs. Girl are you forgetting crown threw the first punch at Stefan AND Tristan.
- [ ] Nirvana ain’t no way you went to that jail and told jashari that Britt was pregnant when she died. Boy you starting to get on my last nerve!!!
- [ ] What not Annika and Adrien the liaison messing around. Annika how many members have you dealt with
- [ ] Lord not Thorian kidnapping what he thought was Tristan’s side chick but really was her twin sister Avery. And not Avery being a hacker just like thorian. Too cute
- [ ] so thorian walks in on Tristan with his side chick and instead of ending them both he just spreads bulelts all over the place and shoots Tristan in the tail instead of killing him. Smh
- [ ] Not crown delivering arias baby LOL
- [ ] Not crown talking about he don’t want kids. Now we gotta hear nirvana mouth about this!!
- [ ] So the hollow planted the judge onto jasharis case so now jashari owes the hollow a debt.
- [ ] Jashari was wrong for killing Tristan’s wife and kids but crown is wrong too. Insinuating that jasharis relationship with Brittany was nothing. That’s out of line. He’s been with nirvana just about as long and if someone said that about her he would be ready for war.

Family is EVERYTHING
Zion done stepped into the world w/ power in silence with the elite ppl!!!…
Tristan definitely learned something valuable from Zion, but it wasn’t enough to keep him alive!!!…
I know that reality of all the destruction he caused coming to stand on his front porch was one that truly resonated with him!!!…
Crown definitely flexed his muscle and his authority to let ppl know that he learned to love, but his power was still there!!!…
Nirvana was working my nerves with her back and forth this WHOLE series and then she shocked me, she listened and she moved to protect her king without a 2nd thought!!!…
Jashari has to come back because my heart broke so bad for him!!!…To lose what you didn’t know you had, horrible!!!…

I’ve been locked in with this series and these characters from the beginning and they never disappoint me!! I know everytime I read about them I’m in for a ride and I definitely went on one! Crown surprised me…I love that growth for him. I’m still in my feels about Britt but Nirvana & Jashari got her!! Braze will always be one of my favs and Zion finna shut EVERYTHING down! Let me find out Annika and Gio finna spin the block?! Thorian is another one of my favs (I hope he gets a book😉) Aria and Warlock are such a power couple. This book was tooo good! 10/10 Highly recommend

This ass chaotic and wild!
So much happened in this novel! Jashari became so unhinged when Nirvana delivered the news about Britt,ghe got out of jail and went on the hunt for Tristan and anyone standing in his way was dealt with. Tristan's siblings were just as ruthless as he was. Mira escaped the carnage left behind, I'm sure we haven't seen the last of her. Zion was a true calculator and well beyond his years, it will be interesting to see what happens with him next! Te Hollow recognizes he could truly be a threat to their organization. Hopefully the chaos calms for a bit, not sure if it will though. Dallas and Houston Flames had to work together to end this latest war. Overall a great read, Tristan and Bishop are gone, what will come next, guess we'll have to see what Brickhouse cooks up next, I truly enjoyed this series!

Amazing…..
Brickhouse’s ability to build worlds is unmatched. Her storytelling is so cohesive and detailed that it pulls you in completely and leaves no questions unanswered. I’m already ready to see the man Zion grows into because baby… he’s definitely about to be worse than Warlock and Crown combined.
I hated the way Jashari handled his grief, but at the same time, grief looks different for everyone, and he moved the only way he knew how in that moment. Now Nirvana was a whole piece of work, but I can admit she redeemed herself in this finale.
And please don’t let this be the last we hear about Thorian and his little situation with Avery because I need more of that ASAP.

Wow, Brick never pulls any punch’s
Brickhouse series always go there so expect the unexpected . She can be cold hearted and kill characters readers may like, no one is exempt. She writes her vision unapologetically and I respect. Afraid not give a cotton candy. The Flame always burn and can never be snuffed out. I love how come together as the Justice League and defeat the Legion of Doom. Jashari had the most dramatic change. Zion is the future that can change up things drastically, I can see him taken over Lucien spot in the future. Crown and Nirvana was the main focus but other new and returning characters also filled book and showed all sides, good and bad.

Great Conclusion!!!!
We’ve finally reached the end (for now) of our Flame/Hollow mash up. Crowne and Nirvana are married, Warlock and Aria had their baby (delivered by Crowne himself) and Tristian gets his comeuppance delivered by Jashari himself. All of that created an emotional and intense story which I thought was excellent. However I have questions regarding Annika and Adrien and Thorian and Avery. When Zion went missing why didn’t Annika call Adrien and will there be any more sightings of Thorian and Avery in Zion’s book 😉 because I know we’re getting a spin off with Zion, right!!!!

72 Hours With An Unhinged Menace series was a great read. Crown was definitely unhinged, but I guess it was justified considering his family "business." I enjoy books that tell the story from a few points of view especially when it's just the main male and female characters. This book almost lost me due to the numerous points of views from the various characters connected to the main characters. It was necessary, but a lot. I did enjoy the storyline, so it's 4 stars for me. I have read another book by BRICKHOUSE, and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be looking for more books by her. If you enjoy unhinged male characters, 72 Hours With An Unhinged Menace will be a great read for you!

Wow! I’m so surprised and disappointed with Jashari character. I have so much code for him, but his response was diabolical, although I understand that it might even be deeper than the grief that he’s in now is stemming from his past grief that he didn’t deal with on top of his current grieving. The finale was a good ending. Now I need to know what’s going on with Torian and Avery, cuz their chemistry was instant and fun. I also need to know Zion next steps so I can’t wait for his story.

This series is more than I expected. To be drawn into something so manipulate is like playing chess with peoples lives. Zion is going to eventually take over the Hollow. Which to me is the main goal. It will be interesting to see him developing. His parents are not going to like it. Please give him someone extraordinary. For some reason I couldn't download part 3. I'm going to try to order it. Not Quite As Expected
The book ended but there are loose ends and I'm sure there is more to come. Crown was not the only unhinged menace of the story. The ferocity of the events escalated to an all-time high that was shocking. There were many "OH, NOOO" moments. It sometimes felt that Nirvana and Crown's love story was just a sidebar. All in all, the finale was excellent. Can't comment much on the events of the story without spoilers.

Better
Same words using the same one liners, but filled in more. I'm going to say it was a good read. However, I had to read it as if I was a cold hearted person to understand the writing. The best storyline was Zion. I'm looking forward to see where this takes him.

Unnecessary explaining
I liked the concept of the book, that's what kept me reading. What I didn't like was all explaining every detail. That made me skip pages . As someone who's read thousands of books I would recommend this book to anyone. Just my opinion

Dark
This is a dark, intriguing novel. Did I enjoy it? I’m not sure. There is no happiness, very little joy. I can’t say there is no normalcy because what is really the definition of normal? There was no HEA. I know Zion will be a force like none other but at what cost?

another amazing read!
I have loved the Characters from New Orleans, Houston, and Dallas! I can’t wait to read more about Zion being part of the Hollow! Keep up the great reads and much respect for your pen game!
