3⭐️ for the first half of the book, the 2nd half fell flat for me. I loved how the book opened up its unusual to have a mafia romance where to MMC & FMC are already in love with each other but things quickly ruin their future. The time lapse isn’t noted so it was a little confusing as things skipped forward. This could use a good editing and some pages removed, some of the spice scene felt added for filler. Good concept could use improvement on the execution.

I devoured this dark mafia romance story and holy moly Pavlina and Slava had me hooked as well as my heart rate spiking due to the intensity and chemistry of these two characters. This book is totally engaging, engrossing and a real page turner of a read. I recommend you read this book if you are into reading dark mafia romance books with suspense. If not, you should read it any ways because it's a five-star read.

Wow. This was an amazing second chance romance. Sommer things don’t stay buried. Slava was one of them, this story was so intense. It’s the type that grabs you and tells you to sets in your seat until it’s finished. I listened. I devoured. I was caught up in the twists and turns. This book was chaos and so good. I couldn’t put this one down.

This book is intense and had me all caught up in Slava and Pavlina. The twists and turns were so compelling and the connections between the characters had me in their corner as they navigated their paths. It is descriptive, well written and held me until the last page.

Slava and Pavlinas love was to be their undoing when a massacre changes everything at their wedding and Pavlina flees nefore the blood dries but shes not alone. Now shes due to be married, and Slava returns from the grave and determind to claim whats his and that includes Pavlina and her secret. Well written engaging steamy desires drama action and more

I enjoyed this story. Pavlina and Slava are good characters. Pavlina spent years emotionally suffering when she believed Slava was murdered. I felt her pain. I liked how they worked together to get their son away from her father and then go after her father to destroy him. I like the action and steamy scenes.

The author captured the grief of Pavlina in such a way that you could feel it yourself. I loved that Slava realized that something was not right once he saw her again. I love everything about how this story was written.

A very well written story about a couple whose wedding is disrupted in a devastating fashion thanks to a shocking betrayal.

This is an excellent depiction of revenge, obsession and grief with extremely engaging characters and a real villain.

Exciting

Another great book from this wonderful writer. She is so knowledgeable about how the Mafia world works. Is she a secret mafia princess?? I recommend this enjoyable read, it has so many surprises and twists and turns.

This was a pretty good book. Took me forever to finish but good nonetheless less. I felt bad for Pavlina in the beginning. But I really liked where her character developed too.
