MIDNIGHT SEDUCTION: Special Report: Flight 407

Rate this book
Christine Logan’s new job as Director of Whiskey Springs Airport was supposed to be a fresh start. Instead, her return to Texas throws her straight into the path of an airport-wrecking twister...and back into the orbit of Quinn Buchanan. As far as Christine is concerned, both can be catalogued as disasters.
She’d had no idea the man who broke her heart three years ago was now a Captain on the Whiskey Springs PD, and in charge of its Airport Division. Quinn doesn’t work for her but, since security is top priority at any airport, her former lover is destined to be a part of her new job. She doesn’t realize how much a part until wailing sirens have her and Quinn racing to take cover seconds before a tornado touches down, shattering glass, ripping off hangar roofs and tossing debris across runways and taxiways. Even shearing off the top cab of the control tower!
While Christine is still reeling from the storm’s devastation, Quinn advises that the prisoner transport plane trapped by debris on a taxiway has been hijacked by an armed prisoner and no longer under the U.S. Marshal’s control. The hijacker’s specific demands make it obvious he’s being fed confidential information by an on-airfield accomplice.
As danger escalates and old feelings reignite, Christine and Quinn must learn to trust each other again--or lose everything—as they race to ID the accomplice and prevent a desperate escape before Flight 407 becomes a lethal weapon.

Maggie Price turned to crime at the age of twenty-two. That's when she went to work at the Oklahoma City Police Department. As a civilian crime analyst, she evaluated suspects' methods of operation during the commission of robberies and sex crimes, and developed profiles on those suspects. During her tenure at OCPD, Maggie stood in lineups, snagged assignments to homicide task forces, established procedures for evidence submittal, even posed as the wife of an undercover officer in the investigation of a fortune teller.

Drawing on her twelve years experience in law enforcement, Maggie Price penned her debut novel, PRIME SUSPECT. One week after Silhouette Books acquired the novel of romance and intrigue, the Romance Writers of America awarded PRIME SUSPECT its prestigious Golden Heart Award for Best Romantic Suspense.

A RITA award finalist, Maggie is the winner of Romantic Times Magazine's career achievement award in series romantic suspense, a Booksellers' Best Award for romantic suspense and a National Readers Choice Award for romantic suspense.
