Shamara S. Davis has published five books over the last two years. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she immigrated to The United States when she was ten years old. Now she lives in New York and has called Brooklyn home for twenty-two years.
Though most of the books she has written were geared towards children, Shamara has started to branch out into writing books such as her latest release What Happened To Kerbie Walobee for a Tween/YA audience.
In addition to working as a writer, Shamara is currently studying to attain her Masters in Education. She spends whatever spear time she has with her family. When back home in Jamaica she likes to fish, go to the old fort, and spend time with friends.
