Practices to help you feel softer and connect to your soul and heart. Whenever I feel I am thinking too much, this book helps me see clearly how to feel peaceful.
I've followed Danielle LaPorte's work for about eight years, since discovering The Desire Map. Bless & Release feels like a natural next step in her teachings. The themes of desire, love, compassion, and heart intelligence are still present, but they've deepened into a more centered way of living.
At the heart of this book is Danielle's "Centering" practice, which feels both grounding and practical. It encourages you to become more present and less overwhelmed by the noise around you. Most books about letting go give you a command. Danielle gives you a practice. She invites you to return to your heart as a starting point.
Longtime readers will recognize a familiar thread running through her work while also seeing how it continues to evolve. Danielle is spiritual yet practical, thoughtful without being preachy. She invites reflection instead of rushing toward answers.
For new readers, Bless & Release is a beautiful introduction to her heart-centered approach to living. The chapter on "Wanting What's Meant for You" is the one I keep coming back to. Grab a copy and then grab one for a friend!
Have you been singing let it goooo since the first Frozen movie in the hopes of actually letting stuff go? Only me?
Danielle LaPorte explains in her new book that we can’t actually let it go, we can only transform it. Light bulb moment! Always practical, Danielle shares The Centering Practice.
I started using The Centering Practice (free recording) and it really works. The situation became less bothersome, less obsessive with a lot less hook. Thank you! The practice itself is simple and quick, while being gentle and effective.
Danielle’s writing is relatable and clear in this book. There are so many highlighter worthy truth bombs and poetic one liners. The audiobook is particularly great because it’s read by Danielle herself — she has such a wise and soothing voice with a contagious girlfriend giggle.
There’s a central question in this new book, just like in The Desire Map. And it’s just as life changing. How big of a problem do you want to make this? Not that big, naturally, so let’s go do The Centering Practice.
Thank you Danielle for writing Bless & Release and sharing The Centering Practice on your website. This is what I needed for more peace and acceptance in my life.
This book has become my daily companion, I finally found a way to let go of the pain of so many things that were dragging me down, both the "small" things and the heavy ones, from divorce to losing loved ones, it feels as though if I have discovered a real superpower: how to deal with all my crap on my own, in a loving and compassionate way. And in doing so, I have found joy, peace and a sense of bliss that I didn't know existed.
Danielle is deep and wise. This is the book that will stay on my reference shelf (aka bedside table) for guidance and inspiration on the heavy and the light days. Danielle hilarious and grounded in the science that I love. Bravo! Thank you, Danielle LaPorte for this one!
I listened to the audio version of this book, it is life changing. The Centering Practice is simple, yet so impactful. I will come back to this book often, thank you Danielle for this beautiful offering.
