Bill O’Lannerman hadn’t had much luck with girls, and that luck doesn’t change when he begins dating a psychic named Lynn Woodslink. Childish, self-centred and a little bit nuts, Lynn can also lift and throw objects with her mind. Once he commits the unforgivable sin of breaking up with her, Lynn uses her power to put Bill into a world of pain. Aided by a club of spell-casting gamers, including a hideously disfigured former boyfriend of Lynn’s, Bill struggles to escape the fury of his girlfriend scorned.
Once again, Timothy Carter hits it out of the park with a YA novel that combines action, fantasy and the very real emotional struggles of teen hood. This one was a page turner, and probably my favourite so far.
Really enjoyed this one. Kept me interested. Also read it very quickly. I can relate to Lynne but only when it comes to being called a certain name. ( won't say what that is)
