Alright, hands down my favorite of the series! I DEVOURED this book (much like B and Kass devour each other)! This book was a perfect continuation of the series of love stories amongst a fabulous group of people, and I enjoyed every minute spent with the characters. B’s story of fighting independence and connection and accepting he own definition of a relationship was powerful, meaningful…. And HOT. Thanks to the author for letting me check this book out early!

Another hit from Emma! Hard to say which in the series is my favorite but this certainly makes a run for it, personally loved the depth and interactions between the characters. Not ready to say goodbye to these characters!

Please Think of Me is the fourth book in the Please Me series—and yes, I read all four books this month! This series is made up of interconnected standalones that follow a close-knit group of friends, siblings, and their love stories. While each book can be read on its own, I highly recommend starting from the beginning to experience the full story and all the easter eggs, Emma leaves! Watching these characters grow and seeing familiar faces throughout the series makes the experience even more rewarding.
I'll admit that themes like recreational *rug use and polyamory aren't ones I typically read or have really read at all, pushed me outside my comfort zone. Which of course was Emma’s plan all along! Stepping outside my usual reading preferences ended up being one of the most rewarding parts of this book. It's one of the things I love most about the book community: discovering stories, authors, and perspectives I may never have picked up otherwise.
We've known B (Blake) since Book One, where she immediately stole my heart as Lou's sassy, confident, alternative younger sister. In Book Two, we watched her fiercely support her best friend, Iris. Now it's finally B's turn to take center stage.
B wants nothing to do with traditional relationships, determined to live life on her own terms. Then along comes Kass—a ridiculously attractive single dad and tattoo artist—who shares one unforgettable night with B and her friend, Fia. While B is determined to keep her distance emotionally, Kass quickly finds himself completely captivated by her. Watching these characters navigate love, identity, and connection in ways that challenge conventional expectations made for such a compelling journey. And then there's Clover...Clover stole the show for me!!
Emma continues to create wonderfully layered, multifaceted characters who feel real and beautifully imperfect. That's one of the things I appreciate most about her writing. I also appreciated what felt like an authentic and respectful portrayal of a polyamorous relationship. While I don't have firsthand experience myself, it reflected conversations I've had with friends in polyamorous relationships and felt genuine, thoughtful, and free of stereotypes.
Please Think of Me is another reminder that some of the best books are the ones that encourage us to step outside our comfort zones. Emma once again delivers a heartfelt, emotionally rich story that expands what a romance can look like while never losing sight of the characters at its center.

If you’re looking for a spicy, lust to lovers, single dad, tough FMC, with rope play and he falls first energy you definitely need to check out Please Think of Me! This is book 4 in the Please Me series but can be read as a standalone. This was my first book to read in this series and I did not feel lost at all.
We meet B, a tough 24 year old FMC who is living life large and loving it! So what if her friends are a little worried she pushes everyone away before feelings can set in? She has her best friend Iris, her roommate/occasional lover/friend Fia, her older sister Lou and a job she loves. She’s confident and knows exactly what she wants. And what she wants is her new tattoo artist, Kass.
Kass is a single dad with a past, and a penchant for falling for women who have no intention of being caught. So when B strides in with her give no fucks attitude, lavender hair, and not so subtle hints at wanting to get in his pants, he knew he was doomed from the start. But can he show B sometimes there might be more to life than a passing fling?
I loved watching B and Kass’s journey throughout this story. B had great character development that felt well paced and Pathy did such an excellent job repping “unconventional” relationships that are not typically seen in contemporary romances. It felt realistic, raw, and believable. The spice hooked me from the start but the heartfelt plot had me crying by the end! If this sounds like your type of romance, I highly recommend!

ARC REVIEW: So honored to have been chosen to receive an ARC for Please Think of Me by Emma Pathy! Please Think of Me is the 4th in the series and where B gets her chance at romance. B has been staying safe at the shallow end of the emotional intimacy pool with her flatmate Fia. But when she meets Kass, she’s forced to confront (by every single one of her friends, her sister, and a very persistent, nearly as bullheaded Kass…) a depth of emotion she has been suppressing since her very first heartbreak. Kass also attempts, and spectacularly fails, to find balance between a healthy relationship with and obsession for the first woman he has real feelings for since Daisy, the one that got away and the mother of his child. The two are so tied up in each other (*wink wink) that B feels comfortable enough to connect with herself and work through some of the knots (ha!) that have been keeping her and Kass apart. Overall, an enjoyable read and if you’re already a fan of Emma’s or contemporary romance with a bit of spice, I think you’ll enjoy Please Think of Me.

When I read a romance novel, I’m usually drawn to a handful of specific tropes. This book didn’t include any of those and yet I ended up enjoying it because it felt so different.
I’ll admit that about 75 pages in, I was questioning whether I wanted to continue. Elements like recreational drug use and polyamory aren’t themes I’ve encountered much (really at all) in romance, so it initially felt outside my comfort zone. However, I’m glad I kept reading because of the heart in this story. In the end it was refreshing to step outside my usual reading preferences and experience something new.
The characters felt real, raw, and authentic. Kass was my favorite. His patience, acceptance, and the way he parented Clover made him incredibly easy to root for. I also enjoyed B’s confidence and personal growth throughout the story. Fia was a great foil to them both. The banter was sweet, and I felt the emotional connection between the characters.
Overall, I’m glad I stuck with this book, and it left me interested in continuing with the rest of the series.

This book wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I don't normally lean towards books with recreational drug use or polyamory, BUT, THAT BEING SAID (!!!)....this book was really good.
It made me glad that I chose to read the books and I'd absolutely recommend this book to readers that i know that are seeking this kind of book,

Both have dealt with heartbreak and loss. Will B be able to move past her loss and learn to love in a different way again? I enjoyed how emotionally available Kass was, able to cry and work through his emotions when B wasn’t quite ready to.
It was beautifully written, so many relatable situations and characters. I loved how inclusive it was. I learned about the different types of relationships people can have. The book pulled me in right away, I didn’t want to put it down.

The 4th book in Emma Pathy’s “Please Me” series is finally here and it delivers everything I could’ve hoped for and more! Fans of this series and the characters will be pleasantly surprised by B’s story. Even as a more minor character from the other books, B quickly became one of my favorites with her witty remarks and perfectly executed sarcasm. As the main character of “Please Think of Me”, she truly shines! The flirty dialogue between B and Kass constantly had me giggling out loud and the spice - some of my favorite I’ve ever read! It’s all wrapped up in a beautiful story that emphasizes the importance of trust and allowing yourself to be truly loved. Thank you Emma for giving B her chance to shine!

This is the first book I’ve read by Emma Pathy and I was not disappointed! I am a HUGE romance girl and sometimes that’s start to feel very cookie cutter, but Emma managed to make this book feel so different and fresh! I loved B as a badass take no shit FMC who is comfortable with herself, her sexuality, and her beauty! She holds her head high and stands her ground no matter what which was so refreshing. Additionally, the romance on this story felt very tasteful while being very spicy and exciting. I thought their relationship was extremely mature and their struggles felt real which was something I loved about this book. The MMC was equally awesome and I truly loved him and just wanted him to be happy. Overall a solid book and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series!

Book four of the Please Me series took me by surprise. After reading the first three books in the series, I was anxious to continue to see what was happening with my favorite characters. To be honest, at first, I wasn’t sure if this book was for me and almost put it down. It wasn’t my typical read and the character B (Blake) was someone who would have intimidated me in real life. But my curiosity kept me reading and I soon fell in love with the relationship between B, Kass, and Kass’ daughter Clover. And I realized that love doesn’t always look how you expect it to.
I’m a little sad that the series is over. I hope Emma Pathy gives us an update on the characters soon!

Emma Pathy’s Please Think of Me is the fourth book in the Please Me series. This was my first book that I have read by her as I was very lucky to receive an ARC and wanted to dive in straight away. While anyone can come into this book and understand what is going on as the author does an amazing job making sure the needed context is there in order to understand the story I still felt like something was missing or off. Do not get me wrong I 100% would recommend this book and I love the stories and the characters within in my reading experience I was just left with some gaps that I know would have been filled if I had not gone in to this story four books in.

I read this book in a day it had me sucked in and I enjoyed the relationship. The characters were fun and just like the rest of the series it was interesting and really well written.
That being said it is sad in some parts because of the character development but its well worth it and such a good read. The ending was also good I did enjoy the LGBT and poly relationship that is portrayed especially since it can relate to many more readers.

Where to even begin?! I loved this series so much and now know THIS is my favorite! I especially loved alllllll the emotions I felt reading and found it hard to put down. I devoured it in 2 days. Another beautiful story from Emma Pathy! It was fun to continue to follow this friend group through an new set of eyes. The storyline pulled me outside of my traditional reading preferences, and provided prospective new to me. This book is unlike any romance book I’ve ever read. B as a main character was so difficult at first but after learning more about her past, I started to like her and see the growth and challenges in her life.

This book is unlike any romance book I’ve ever read. B as a main character was so difficult at first but after learning more about her past, I started to like her and see the growth and challenges in her life.
Kass, I truly liked his character from the beginning and his relationship with his spunky 8 year old daughter Clover.

I am a much slower eyeball reader because I rarely find myself able to sit down and read a book. Most of my reading is done through audiobooks.
Last month, I finished Please Think of Me, by my local indie author Emma Pathy. I attended her book launch, and it was such a funny conversation between Emma and Evi James. I own all her books, but this is the first one I have read. They can be read as standalone books.
Please Think of Me is a contemporary romance with emotional depth and lots of steamy scenes. It’s mainly a romance between B and Kass, but there is a polyamorous relationship as well with B’s roommate, Fia. This book was well written, and now I need to read the other books in this series.
I recommend reading this series if you love supporting independent authors!

Finally, we get to hear B’s story! I’ve been eagerly waiting for this one. She’s honestly my favorite character, and I was not disappointed. It was an emotional rollercoaster, and I finished it in two days. The writing is so crisp and easy to follow, and the imagery is vivid, like a movie playing in my head. I’m happy for B and Kass. I just wish they had been exclusive with each other (with the occasional addition of Fia for certain activities). I don’t want them to be with anyone else. 😭
