Things start to heat and she suddenly experiences things that she never has before, but as quickly as it starts it is extinguished it at the source, sending her into a living Hell.

When I read that Ms. Snyder was coming out with another story I knew I had to get it, and let me say how freaking excited I was when it hit my tablet!! That prologue grabbed me, and from there, this story refused to let me go.

Savannah has been sheltered most of her life; so much so that she's never had a boyfriend, gone out on a date or even had a first kiss. For that, I felt sad for her because that is part of finding yourself.

Reid is a man that has his hands in a couple of business but the one that is most important is the company he shares with his brothers, King Securities. He never thought the one person he's interested in would be the one that he would have to fight to get back...

He knows what he has to do but he also knows that there's a chance he might never get to see her again so, with his emotions in check, Reid starts the trek to find his girl.

Now, I will say there are a couple of things that happen to Savannah that had me cringing and getting teary eyed; just beware that there is physical abuse in case that is a trigger. I don't want to give away much, I want you to be as intrigued and excited as I was as I read it because, to be honest, this was different from many of the stories I've read before.

Recovered Love was suspenseful, intriguing, sweet and innocent with a lot of sexiness that my tablet was burning up.... Reid, my goodness, what a freaking Sexy Beast!! Now I'm waiting for Carter and Deacon's stories, Ms. Snyder!! ~ Kara, 5 stars

** ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW**
WOW !!! This woman sure as hell knows how to pull her readers in with just a prologue !!
I absolutely loved Accepting Cherry by Chrissy so when i was offered an ARC of Recovered Love i jumped at the chance.
Such an amazing story between 2 people not looking for love but finding it each other in the most dire situation. Savannah is an only child, naive and inexperienced, and at 22 years old is just setting out on her own in life, she's not looking for love or even a relationship but when her best friend Lacey drags her out to a nightclub it is there for the first time she sees Reid. He knows he's good looking and not shy about it but not in a cocky way. He's been hurt in the past and only does one night stands until he sees a raven haired beauty dancing and he feels himself drawn to her but he doesn't know why.
Little does he know that this one night is about to change EVERYTHING for both of them.
What ensues will have you literally on the edge of your seats, wanting to throw your kindles, reaching for tissues for the pain they both go through and laughing at times too. This has the perfect amount of dark and is balanced out well with laughs and some seriously panty melting scenes mixed in too.
Can't wait to read Deacon's book now !

Gifted for an honest review – 3 ½ to 4 stars
I’m totally on the fence with this book, it’s my first outing with Chrissy and I wanted to really like this as the blurb sounded great. It was a book that most definitely appealed to me. For me the story needed a little more development and I wondered if perhaps 1st person narrative wasn’t quite working for me. I really struggled with the over use of a particular word throughout the whole of the book and I was at rolling eye point by the end because of it. Also there was too much repetition going on for me. We get the same history about the characters repeated a few times and I remember telling myself that yes…I got that point already. So for me those are two bug bear points that I find difficult to cope with. They really do interfere with the flow of reading. The story read a bit too factually for me too, cut and dry if you like, and it made it really hard for me to form a connection with the characters. However there was some really great descriptive text scattered through this book and a fabulous plot pulling together well.
It’s a dark book that throws a little bit of everything at you and Savannah or Van is quite a strong character, this girl goes through the ringer and at some points it is graphically descriptive but she manages to hold her own. Reid is her total knight in shining armour. Their road is long and hard but they do get their HEA eventually. I really liked the twists that Chrissy threw in there; you don’t necessarily see them coming either. I did like this very much, it just had a few things I wasn’t so keen on. Recommended darkish read but please be warned there will be some trigger points in here, it’ not all fluffy marshmallows. I’ll read Chrissy’s work again for sure and I think I’m going to go and have a look at Accepting Cherry.

This story was slightly, Dark with A combination of angsty, nerve- wrecking and letting go of your past and overcoming your demons! Savanah, she is sweet, caring, selfless, the things she had to go through really made my heart break for her and the chemistry between her and Reid, is undeniable. . Let's talk about Reid, he is sexy, hot, strong, and kind of a male whore, and then bam! he see's a beautiful woman that is a game changer. He had a tuff childhood that he hides from his love ones but all he needed was that one woman to show him how beautiful, love, and life can be if you just open up and let go of the past. I, really enjoyed the secondary characters and thier developments this book was well written I cannot wait for more books in this seris. Chrissy dose a terrific job of taking you on this journey and voicing, insight, through both of thier emotional struggles and how they fought through them to obscurity save eachother. * ARC received on behalf of bookalicious babes blog in exchange for A honest review.

After reading Accepting Cherry I had to read this book too. Recovered Love is a story that will keep you on your toes. with an emotional roller coaster of emotions you will be wanting more. It's a page turner it had me from page one. I just couldn't put it down I had to see where this story was going and what happened. Chrissy has done a wonderful job!

Savannah and Reid journey is one that i would and already have recommended.

Savannah is a strong women that goes for what she wants and never gives up when you think she couldn't go on she never gives up. she is shy, selfless, very caring and easy to love. What Savannah goes through in this book is heartbreaking. The love she has for Reid is very beautiful.
Reid now he is a strong sexy swoon worthy man. He had a bad past that he never told any of his family or friends about he kept it a secret. Never having a really having girlfriend he was a man whore untill he sees Savannah and from then she is all he sees. He is everything she needs and she is everything he need it's a beautiful love story.

I loved this book and I can't wait to read Deacons journey to see what and where things will go. This is not a cliffhanger but it is because chrissy has made you want to see what happens next by keeping you in your toes. I will never forget this story and I will definitely be reading more from this Author. Amazing book

My Review
Reid king is a bit of a player with zero intentions of settling down any time soon, he's been hurt in the past and he's never giving another woman the chance to do it again...Then suddenly he meets Savannah. Game over, player is down! the chemistry is instant and its as intoxicating as the male lead!
There is a HEA but trust me...those two have to work for it!
This book definitely grabbed my attention early...and it wasn't just down to the enigmatic Reid! Ms Snyder grabs your attention and slowly builds the tension and pressure until you physically cant put the book down!
This story essentially had everything! sexual tension, innocence, a little angst and a bit of a mystery.
Savannah was a very sweet character but there was something about her that i just couldn't seem to click with? even now, i cant particularly put my finger on why? Not that i let that ruin the story for me! I'm head over heels with Reid and cannot wait to get my hands on the next Snyder master piece!
4 stars!

RECOVERED LOVE tells the story of Savannah, a sheltered good girl, and Reid, a self-described ex-military bad boy who has a dark past.

The novel deals with several themes including abduction, torture, sexual assault of women and children and the aftermath of these events. It does contain scenes that may make some readers uncomfortable so be warned. However all ends are tied at the end with a HEA.

Supporting characters are very strong in RECOVERED LOVE as we meet and get to know each of Reid’s brothers, all alpha males and ex-military. It’s a smorgasbord of military hunks to the rescue! The relationship between the brothers is strong and there are some laughs to lighten the darker moments.

The plot is deep, as I mentioned before, so be ready for a few twists as we watch our couple on the very rocky road to their happiness. It’s an involving read so be ready to spend some time getting to know Reid and Savannah.

Definitely worth some time!

Savannah meets Reid at a club and they are very attracted to each other. Savannah is an innocent and Reid is a player, but they can't stop thinking about each other. Days later she is kidnapped by a crazy man and held captive and tortured for twelve days. Reid and his brothers are hired by her parents to rescue her. She and Reid get so much closer as he takes care of and protects her when the kidnapper escapes. I so loved how good Reid was to her and took her on dates to make up for all she missed. I loved Reid's brothers and their banter as well.

The beginning to their story is one of the most intense openings I have ever read. My heart was in my throat for all of it. I really loved Van and Reid together. I can't wait to read Reid's brothers' stories.

I give Recovered Love 5 hearts!

Reid and Savannah

Great 👍 Start to this series. Reid and Savannah are an adorable couple 💑 and the start to their romance is interesting. The plot is intense and intriguing. The bond between the King Brothers is wonderful to see and develop before the reader. Hopefully, Deacon, Carter, and their friends Conner will get their stories told also.

It took a few chapters before I could really get into this book, but once I got past that, it really got good. The love, the bonds of brothers, the strength and support is awesome.

FOR 18+ READERS ONLY. Savannah is a reserved young woman, the only child of a well-respected district attorney and his wife, who has moved out of her parents’ wealthy home in order to find her own way in the world, while her best friend, Lacey, seeks to help her find the one man who will free Savannah of her bonds of virginity. Reid is a well-built hunk of a man, who is running two businesses, a high-end security firm and a fitness gym, with his two younger brothers and has decided that after a failed relationship with a clingy woman and a darker secret from his childhood, the only relationship he can have with women are one-night stands and hallway quickies. However, when Reid and Savannah spy each other at a night club, each feels an instant attraction that surprises both of them, yet their insecurities work to keep the attraction at a platonic distance until one night Savannah is kidnapped by a crazy, perverted intruder, and Reid must use his skills to find her in time. The story is built around a solid plot core, yet the author is so focused on bringing our main characters together to a romantic erotic relationship, that she has failed to provide motivational support for the bare conflict framework and secondary characters, making the villains into straw characters acting just to push the main characters along. In some instances, unfortunately, some actions that are intended to hype up the intensity of the story actually tend to undercut the plot. In this current version, writing style was generally good and editing was acceptable, but grammarians may be distracted by a general lack of commas for direct addresses and dependent clauses, as well as a lack of capitalization for some direct addresses, within conversational text. The story is told in the first person narrative that switches chapter to chapter from Reid and Savannah, but there is one confusing instance when during one chapter of Savannah’s narrative, a few paragraphs suddenly switch to Reid’s personal narrative. This tale could have used more time to flesh out a fuller background and polish up the edges.

I really wanted to give this more stars, but the truth is the story and characters really needed more work. Unfortunately I thought it focused too much on the sex and less about how these two characters associated with each other before everything went down hill for them.
I'm not usually too picky about violence, but I just didn't get the whole thing. Savannah was beaten over and over again, but she did things after the attack that weren't believable.
I don't know..I"m not great on reviews and really wished I loved this book. At one point while reading her POV it switched to the hero's POV. I know that was mistake. It needs more editing and focusing less on the sex and more about how to build their relationship. The brothers of the hero didn't fit in for me either, but I would still like to see them evolve.
Forgive me Chrissy. I do think your talent is amazing, but this book needs more care. It deserves it.
