Keeping It In #3

Don't Pull Out

Rate this book
He runs the MC with two control and silence. She's become the exception to both.

Liv walks into the wrong bar on the wrong night. The man behind the bar watches her the way a man watches a decision he's already made.

Reaper is the Iron Saints president. He doesn't explain himself and he doesn't make mistakes. He looks at Liv Castillo once and decides she's staying. By week two she's at the church table — the only woman who has ever sat in that room.

He keeps her in his lap through the long Thursday calls. His voice doesn't change. His hand doesn't move from her. She stays still, and he says good girl like she's the only person in his world who gets that from him.

She is.

Somewhere in the middle of it she stops trying to figure out how she ended up here.

His hand is on her. That's enough.

Just Ok

Reaper is the President of the Iron Saints MC and Liv is an attorney who had business with the club. It took just that one meeting before they started to grown something between them. I just felt really detached from this couple. This whole book seemed to focus on the one kink that Reaper had.

She came to negotiate a debt. He decided she was staying.

Liv knows how to walk into dangerous rooms without flinching. She’s sharp, controlled, and too smart to mistake an outlaw clubhouse for safe ground. But Reaper, president of the Iron Saints, doesn’t need threats to make the air change. He watches her once, listens too closely, and turns a routine negotiation into something neither of them can explain.

Jude is silence, control, and absolute certainty. Liv is discipline with a pulse under it. What starts as a bad idea in his office becomes a private language built on restraint, trust, and attention that cuts past performance. She doesn’t surrender because she’s weak. She lets go because he notices everything and never asks her to become smaller.

As the weeks turn into rituals, the heat between them deepens into something harder to dismiss. Club calls, closed doors, long nights, and quiet mornings pull Liv further into Jude’s world, where danger starts to feel like a choice she makes with open eyes.

Liv starts guarded and self-reliant, but her arc opens as she learns that choosing surrender with Jude doesn’t make her less powerful. Jude’s control begins as silence, authority, and restraint, then shifts into devotion as he builds care and commitment around Liv without softening her. Their relationship begins as a charged collision, then deepens into trust, possession, erotic restraint, tenderness, and mutual claim.

A dark, erotic, MC romance about control, surrender, and possession that becomes safety instead of threat. It’s about a guarded lawyer, a silent president, and a relationship built through restraint, trust, praise, domestic intimacy, and mutual claim. At its core, it’s about power that doesn’t erase autonomy, heat that becomes home, and two controlled people finding devotion where neither expected to stay.

The Elevator Pitch: A controlled lawyer walks into an outlaw clubhouse to settle a debt and finds a man whose silence feels more dangerous than any threat. What begins as a negotiation becomes a private language of restraint, trust, and possession, pulling them both into a bond neither of them planned to name. In a world built on power, loyalty, and risk, their desire becomes something steadier than surrender and sharper than safety.

Heat Level: 🖤🔥 Erotica / Kink-Forward

Liv Castillo is an attorney who follows her clients wherever their bad decisions lead, including the Iron Saints’ clubhouse, where she arrives to talk to the club’s President, Reaper (Jude) on behalf of Danny Chen. Danny owes the Iron Saints money and she’s there to negotiate, what exactly…a repayment plan? So, obviously not a 1% MC club then. What ultimately left me cold, though, was the complete lack of genuine chemistry between the leads. Yes, there’s Jude’s primary kink, and the book leans heavily on that, but the erotic scenes felt strangely mechanical — feeling about as passionate as giving yourself a hand job. Liv spends an impressive amount of time perched on Jude’s lap (read: his c*ck), after which he “jumps her bones” before they casually sit back and chat. There’s heat, technically, but very little intimacy. And oddly enough, most of their encounters seem to happen while Jude is multitasking MC business calls. Nothing says romance quite like club logistics. Do these two ever simply kiss or cuddle? Share an actual moment together without Jude occupying his favorite place? I couldn’t help laughing at the series’ ongoing commitment to the “nobody notices she’s sitting on his lap” trope. In earlier books, the FMC somehow straddled the MMC in crowded rooms while everyone politely ignored the obvious. Here, Piper attempts to solve the problem by apparently having Jude conduct official MC business from another room while Liv sits naked in his lap. What was he doing, shouting club orders through the door between thrusts? It somehow managed to feel even more absurd than before. Maybe the cover art fooled me into expecting something moodier and more emotionally intimate than what’s actually on the page. Also, beyond the opening setup, very little really happens plot-wise, with Liv mostly cycling from one sit-down session to the next. Unfortunately, by the end, this installment felt less like a fiery MC romance and more like a repetitive series of kink interludes stitched together with biker jargon. As it stands, this is my least favorite book in the series so far.

This third installment in the Keeping It In series delivers a confident, high-energy reading experience with a memorable central dynamic and a strong sense of atmosphere. Piper Kane creates immediate intrigue from the opening pages, drawing readers into a world that feels vivid, cinematic, and fully realized. The story moves with purpose, balancing intensity with emotional momentum in a way that keeps the pages turning.

One of the book’s standout strengths is the author’s ability to build compelling character tension without losing sight of heart. The connection between the leads feels purposeful and engaging, and their interactions give the novel both spark and emotional depth. Kane’s writing is assured and polished, with a style that feels accessible while still delivering plenty of dramatic impact.

For readers who enjoy fast-paced romance with a bold setting, strong characterization, and a polished narrative voice, this is an easy recommendation. Don’t Pull Out stands out for its momentum, atmosphere, and confident storytelling, making it a satisfying addition to the series and a compelling read in its own right. Fans of contemporary romance looking for a book with intensity, style, and emotional pull will likely come away impressed.

This book is really well written, with thoughtful dialogue and character choices. I was surprised because the title makes it sound like soft core corn. It is erotica, but the characters have a bond and a true compatibility that is rare in this genre. The characters are in lust and in love, but Reaper and Liv also genuinely like each other, and that is reflected throughout the book. I enjoyed reading this. The only thing I didn’t like was the title.

There's another couple who have reached an arrangement, an understanding. She's an attorney and he's the president of the Iron Saints MC. Liv and Reaper (Jude). She's younger, he's older. He conducts business and she stays still. I didn't get to know either one. There's not much emotional connection or growth. Two dimensional characters. My question is why be together at all? What's the point? I didn't get any insta-love happening. He asks and she always says okay. Not much else aside from the k!nk adventure.♨️🤳🏻 Nice book cover. Happy reading.*•>§<•*🩵💛🩵💛

He didn't and she loved it. - Professionalism went out the window when Liv met Reaper. The silver fox piqued her interest, the promise of the pleasure of his touch irresistible. They quietly claimed each other with the certainty of two people who knew what they wanted and weren't afraid to go after it. A steamy shorty that is sure to please. I haven't read an MC romance in a while. The Iron Saints make me want to take a dip into the genre again, as the author focused on the main characters and Reaper (Jude to her) treated Liv with respect. The first book I have read by this author, definitely not the last.

Staying by MeemsAngel82

This was another steamy story an with an MC twist. I'm not an MC kinda gal but this not one of that type, rather a hot story between our h and her H. She is smart and careful but meeting him has her wanting things. The same goes for him.

They have an instant attraction. Acting on something they both want they form a lasting connection.

The two work well together. Both want to give in to the attraction that they both feel and aren't wrong in doing so. Without words you can feel their desire for one another and the need to explore whatever it is between them. A hot read!

MC Romance
Liv is a young lawyer negotiating for one of her clients with the president of an MC. She didn't expect to fall head over heels for Reaper, an older and gorgeous man.
Reaper has been president of his MC for years; he's never believed in love, but his encounter with the stunning lawyer changed everything. He's ready to do anything for her, even have her on his lap during church.
Will Liv and Reaper have a beautiful love story…

Warning: This is a very spicy insta-love romance, and I love it….

This is the story of Liv and Reaper. Liv is a lawyer and has been assigned to negotiate with the president of the MC on behalf of one of her clients—and that is none other than Reaper. From the very first moment, it is insta-love for her, something she hadn't expected, and the same goes for Reaper; he knows immediately that she is the one for him and wants to do anything for her. There is suspense, action, danger, romance, and plenty of action.

This book pulled me in from the very first page. If you are a fan of dark MC romance and high-stakes, instalove dynamics, this is a must-read. Piper Kane delivers a gritty, tension-filled story that keeps the momentum going throughout. The chemistry between the characters is intense, and the plot moves at a breakneck speed that makes it nearly impossible to put down. I truly enjoyed the dark atmosphere and the unapologetic nature of the relationship. Definitely a great addition to the genre for those looking for a quick but gripping escape.

He didn’t know what he was missing until she shows up. Once she does, he has no intention of letting her go. This is a super quick spicy Read that is definitely more to the smut than plot ratio. This one features warming, and an intense connection. There is not a lot of character building or scene building in this one. The dialogue is more broody and inferred than descriptive.. if you want the sweet words, this one isn’t it. If you just want an afternoon, quickie this one might do the job.

Instalove story, entertaining, obviously unrealistic but that is the fun plot of this book and the series!

Liv is lawyer who goes to the Iron Saints MC club to talk to his client, who is held there as he has a debt to pay.

Reaper/Jude is the president of the Iron Saints MC club.
He takes a look at Liv and decides to makes his own rules.

They have a great chemistry. Good read.

Don't Pull Out is the third book in the Keeping It In series by Piper Kane. This is Liv and Jude's story. This is a May/December romance between an attorney and the president of a motorcycle club. The interaction between the two is good. I just wish there was more.

This is such a cute book. An attorney marches right into the office of an MC President. There was an immediate connection that neither of them had to say. She continued to come back to see him, weekly and the rest was history.... with some spice!.

If you like quick and steamy romance you will definitely enjoy Don't Pull Out by Piper Kane. Liv walked into the bar for one reason and that was to check on her client but she quickly catches the attention of Jude, president of the Iron Saints MC. Despite his unusual requests Liv can't help be incredibly drawn to Jude. It may have happened fast but they both know they belong together.
