Hot Mess

Lucas and Eddie were teenage kings of the box office in the 1980s. It is no longer the 1980s. After failing in their comeback bid, and dying in the process, the duo are sent back to Earth on a mission from God that only two washed-up former child stars could accomplish. Maybe. Probably. Well... yeah, they'll screw this up, too.

Lucas and Eddie are former stars from the 1980's but find themselves without job prospects. When their lives end suddenly, they take on a new job...a mission from God.

Filled with funny characters and quirky events, Hot Mess is a quick silly read. A mix between Blues Brothers and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, Hot Mess's humorous story is sure to delight humor readers. Just be warned, it's more adult nature makes it better for older readers.

Mr. Hayes and Mr. Arking could easily turn this into a series... just imagine Lucas and Eddie helping other people as well as defeating Satan.

Eddie and Lucas, two washed out teen movie stars, now grown up, keep pulling duds on movies and life situations.

A run in with the law ends up with the two getting their wings and halos. However, the paperwork is a bit iffy, so God & the Devil put the boys to a task (or two) to see whether they belong upstairs or downstairs.

With the help of a failing Angel, they help a struggling business in their special way, will it be enough to send them through the Pearly Gates?

Hold on for an epic battle between good & evil over the fate of Eddie & Lucas’ souls!

This book was a quick, funny read. You just have to shake your head when you’re reading some of the antics/situations.
