The story of a cherokee woman with a dream to become the astronaut on the canvas of the issues of the indigenous nations, same-sex marriage in the USA.

S-tier imagery, remarkable work of presenting the characters’ inner thoughts, impressive accuracy in the way Ramage presents the main heroine feeling misunderstood, as well as her hyperfixation on space. At times, some dialogues feel awkward and forced.

After reading R. F. Kuang’s "Yellowface" I can’t help but wonder about it how much of a pity it is that works of many authors coming from ethnic minority groups are never going to be published worldwide.

I thought this book was at first a slow read but once I was half way through could not put it down. Loved the journeys she traveled both through her family history and acceptance and space travel and obtaining her childhood dream. I loved the quote “everything is only a step”
