Flamebound: A Protector's Claim Universe Romantasy

Rate this book
Joya Rae Martin doesn’t have time for fairy tales. A brilliant scientist from Chicago, she has built her future around one saving her father from a rare and devastating disease.

Then a trip to New York changes everything.

After witnessing a supernatural battle in Central Park, Joya comes face-to-face with demons, witches, vampires, shifters, and dragons. But nothing shakes her more than Prince Xavian Draegonhart, the powerful dragon who drops to his knees and calls her his mate.

Xavian has waited decades for the mate The Mother made for him. Joya is his future, his flamebound love, but she isn’t a woman to be claimed by pretty words or ancient bonds. If he wants her trust, he’ll have to earn it. Because Xavian may be a dragon prince, but Joya is no damsel waiting to be saved.

When the truth about her father’s illness leads them to a hidden enemy with roots older than anyone imagined, Joya must use her science to confront a horror built on control, corruption, and stolen power. And Xavian will burn down anything that stands between his mate and the family she’s trying to save.

Flamebound is a spicy Black romantasy set in the Protector’s Claim Universe, featuring a possessive dragon prince, fated mates, dragonfire, supernatural secrets, family healing, and a love hot enough to rewrite everything.

Worth the Wait

September!!! Xavian and Joya was worth the wait! Once I started, I couldn't put it down! Great job tying in the scientific/tech world in human and superhuman. I can wait for the next book! The plot, the spice, the action, the banter! 10 out of 10!

Finding out the reason was shocking to me. I like ground work for future stories. The cameos of prior
characters in the book. Solid story.
