I really enjoying reading Kyra's story. What Stephano and Kyra have u know it is special but with both exes is trying to tear them apart. With Kyra's ex finding her and then revealing what he wants from her, it makes a very interesting story. Stephano had fallen in love and Kyra feels the same but Kyra doesn't want anything to happen to Stephano because her ex is an abuser and with a wealthy family can get away with a lot. It will be interesting to see what will happen next.

Back for round Two.
The story of Stephano and Kyra started slow and cautious, but the underlining theme is there.
Hot Romance.
The book is written in a style I've come to expect from Author Emily Jane Trent - Clean, crisp, hot and timed. I really love that.
I also love how the characters are developed to bring out an emotional response, and how the story itself made me paranoid. Suddenly everyone is a suspect!
I am developing a problem with Kyra - in that she is grating on my nerves - Now before anyone throws a shelf at me, this is a GOOD thing. It means the character's personality and traits are well developed - Even if it is just to slap her upside the head at times in a motherly: Stop your whining and enjoy what you have! Way.
I chuckle at the robust and fierce attitude of Stephano, though him I want to rattle a bit too. You're not a puppy dude - make good on those threats!

When all is said and done, I am enjoying this series and will be reading the 3rd book next week. I commend Emily for keeping it consistent, for writing a very intriguing suspense all the while maintaining the relationship steaming between the mains. I also enjoy the tiny bits of throw-out bait about the other books [which I've not read.]
Well done on creating a truly captivating Romance in a genre where things are so 'same-same'. You are standing out above the rest for me - and for what it is worth - That takes some doing.

This romantic thriller is heating up both in the suspense and in the bedroom.

Shaken by Troy's message of the locket, Kyra and Stephano's Christmas was almost ruined. With Stephano at her side, Kyra spends the day trying to forget the pending doom of Troy re-entering her life. Her affair with Stephano is progressing at lightning speed and the scorching hot scenes between them will leave you swooning.

Troy knows she is in Germany and will not be dissuaded from coming after her. As we find out what he is after, danger becomes more imminent for Kyra. Troy's business is not on the up and up. He is mixed up with something Kyra wants no part of, but Troy will not give up until he gets what he wants. Brutal, spoiled and selfish, this man is lethal and Kyra knows it. Stephano's life could be at stake s well as hers.

I just could not put this book down. Book 3 will follow at the end of April. You can bet I am biting my nails waiting to find out how this thriller will evolve. These characters are so real, it feels like my best friend's life is in peril and I am impotent as I envision the risks and the brutality Troy will bring to Kyra and Stephano as he tries to get his way.

Can Stephano be Kyra's white knight in shinning armor ? Will he find out the real reason why Troy has come back now to find Kyra after all if these years ? Kyra still doesn't Stephano involved because she know what Troy is capable of doing and she realizes that he live for Stephano is great enough to let him go so he doesn't get hurt or even possible dead. But when Troy contacts Kyra and she tries to rack her brain in why he would still be looking fir her after all these years it finally clicks....could she quite possibly have had answers to her questions the whole time ?? Does she do enough of a cover job so he believe he that she doesn't have the scrapbook anymore after she quickly left Germany and California yo New York that it was just lost. Did she do a good enough job to protect Stephano, the only man that she truly loves and that she now know feels the same way about her ? Can she save them both from the evil hands of Troy ??

This gripping installment has you screaming yelling laughing and loving through the whole book !! Can't wait to see that outcome !! Keep em coming Emily !!

I received an audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
as with the first book, I loved the narrator of this book! I enjoy listening to her voice and her little changes and accents for other characters

This part of the series was pretty exciting ... same hot scorching sex scenes of course but we learn more about both Kyra and Stephano ... and Troy too!
Stephano's ex is still bugging him and near the end plays an interesting part in the cliffhanger!
While I understand Kyra's fears she still drives me crazy with her pushing Stephano away ... GAH! lol

I'd love to mention that I get so hungry listening to these books ... Emily Jane Trent has an exquisite way of describing food (what did you think I was talking about?)
and her descriptions of places and the landscape makes me dream of traveling

I can't wait to listen to more

Once again I am transported into Stephano and Kyra`s story! Emily Jane Trent is a master of the romance novel and this is no different....... Secrets threaten to destroy what happiness they are building and the only way to savage it is with the thruth!
Kyra is more sceptical then ever when Troy finds her and threatens the man she have severe feelings for, will their love be able to survive demons of their past while they battle for their future?
The emotions are torn once again with the turmoil covering Kyra and she only has one thought....... Save Stephano from her abusive phycotic ex boyfriend. Will she be able to conquer her demons once and for all? And will their love be strong enough to get them through till the end? I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT!!!

The story has been developing and it has become something more than a romance between two people. The problem is that once again I couldn't connect with the characters and that ruined my reading experience. To make things worse this time the detachment isn't only about the characters, but it had spread to the whole story. I am not sucked into the book's world and I feel like I watch the events happening instead of living them. The end could be considered cliffy and I feel as if I know the direction things will go in the next book. Kyra has to discover many things about Troy and what he is doing. I am not a fan of Stephano, not because he is a bad guy, but because he doesn't seem like an alpha male to me. He will have to up his game in order to make me like him.

The hotness, suspense and attraction was magnified in this installment. The instant chemistry that was in the first book continued. Things were made worse by the threat of a abusive ex. Stephano is determined to make sure that no harm comes to her. They're are getting closer both physically and emotionally telling each other things they never told anyone. There is so much depth to Stephano than I've read in the first one. He's much more laid back but much fiercer than his older brother. Of course the cliffhanger could be disastrous if Kyra makes the decision to betray Stephano or have faith that he will protect her and make sure that every threat will be squashed.

The intrigue grows as Kyra and Stephano work to figure out why Troy is suddenly harassing Kyra. She had been in hiding pretty well until she landed in Zurich for the fashion shows but he seems to have more than just bullying her on his mind. At the same time, Kyra and Stephano's relationship deepens as they explore different cities together. Their chemistry continues to flame as their passion grows and true emotions are acknowledged. But even as secrets are revealed, I'm sensing a bumpy road ahead for our couple.

OMG so frustrating, while Kyra might be desperately trying to protect Stephano, she hurting a would be wonderful relationship with her stubbornness. While Stephano has done nothing but prove that all he wants is to love and protect her. As much as I'm frustrated by this story I have to keep reading. Unbelievable that the frustration is what drives me as a reader to read to the very end. And this why Emily's books are absolutely fascinating.

Another great book by author Emily Jane Trent, I fell in love with Stefano and Kyra and the more I read the more secrets are revealed. I can't wait to see where this series takes me.
