I think of this book as a nice compendium of Alice's adventures, that pacing in some parts could be more dynamic , however it's a classic for a reason, Wonderland is truly a world of nonsense and everything is taken in the most literal way, the illustrations are a bit unsettling but there's a charm to the style, you understand Alice's confusion meeting this characters and her wonder for adventure and her curiosity for everything new around her, the prose reads in such a extraordinary and uncommon way that it just makes sense.

A good classic, leaves it up to the minds imagination on what is happening.
