Why is nobody talking about this series?!

The plot is genuinely soooooo interesting, and the way everything unfolds keeps you hooked without ever feeling rushed. Guildverse is SO articulate. The writing, the world-building, the humour, everything just works.

It’s humorous, it has action, it has a really intriguing plot, and the pacing is honestly perfect. It just keeps taking you along, one thing after another, and somehow manages to make even the complicated parts feel fun.

And the plot??? Chef’s kiss.

And the romance?? I love how slow-paced it is. It never disrupts the actual plot or takes over the story. It just naturally happens in the background, You can actually watch the relationship develop without the entire plot suddenly revolving around romance.

Of course I read the novel. 😂 The manhwa was too good too, but it’s ongoing, so obviously I had to go straight to the novel because I simply cannot wait.

Seriously, this deserves SO much more attention.

Oh my god. This is INCREDIBLE. The way it's starts out entertainly humorous as we watch Cha Eui-Jae, the number 1 hunter who disappeared 8 years ago and was presumed dead, attempt to live a quiet and peaceful life and hide his return from the rest of the world....and utterly fail at it. You're frolicking along, completely entertained by Eui-Jae's attempts, his personality, and his bickering dynamic with Lee Sa-Young...until, slowly, the plot begins to expand in tension and urgency and danger. And you realize this ISN'T some happy-go-lucky, silly story. There is actually complex depth to the plot that, uh oh, may end up hurting you in part 2.

The way Baek Sam grew this plot was actually incredible. The intensity slowly creeps up on you and builds in enrapturing ways. I was legitimately hooked and will be diving into part 2 immediately.

please i desperately need them to have a happy ending im on my hands and knees. CEJ had to burden so much responsibility at a young age and only had a few years of peace. i love LSY from keeping him away from fhat life again. ugh they’re so intimate and lovey dovey with each other without even realising it, and it’s making me lose my mind.

sinceramente creí que tendría más angst (por lo que leí de la gente) pero se me hizo bastante ameno, aunque lo que pasó cha euijae me destruyó por completo y lloro cuando me acuerdo ok

por otra parte sentí que el tema del apocalipsis se alargó más de lo necesario pero estoy satisfecha con el final, en fin los amo sean felices siempre

Той рідкісний випадок, коли історія не відпускає навіть поїсти і поспати і ти як зомбі всюди ходиш з телефоном, інколи натикаючись на стіни, бо тобі цікаво, що ж там далі. А потім читаєш вдруге поспіль, щоб вловити всі нюанси. Обов'язково колись ще перечитаю. Такі історії так просто не відпускають

I started reading this because it was trending on the site I use to read, its like pretty good ngl

The premise of it is fine I suppose like it sounds pretty typical, and it kinda is. The main reason this series is different from others is the (somewhat random) touch of romance. Even then the series doesn’t really focus on the romance, being a pretty typical fantasy series. The series is ongoing rn but as of Jan 16th there’s not really that much development between the main couple.

The actual fantasy plotline is fine I suppose, the MC being dedicated to their soup restaurant I find rather lovely, but I can see how some people would find it annoying given how much emphasis is placed on it. The plot is really the main focus though not the romance with pretty typical fantasy things happening like a clairvoyant character predicting the apocalypse.

Thể loại truyện viễn tưởng, tận thế, hệ thống cực kỳ thú vị và không rối não.
Nét vẽ đẹp, hình chibi siêu dễ thương.
Nội dung ổn, ý nghĩa.
Có yếu tố hài hước nhưng không lố, đọc cực kỳ giải trí dù đây chỉ là 1 trong nhiều cảm xúc bộ truyện mang lại.
Dàn nhân vật đa dạng và mức độ nhận diện rõ ràng. 2 nhân vật chính mạnh mẽ và tình cảm giữa họ chữa lành cho nhau rất nhiều.
Nói chung hay vô cùng, mình đọc một mạch và mình muốn mọi người cũng thử đọc bộ truyện này.

I just love these 2! So glad there were side stories. After their long journey and all the chaos and trouble, reading their lives after all that was very satisfying and funny.
