A fantastic story with an engaging romance, but the world building was what I really enjoyed. According to the authors notes there's a sequel coming, and I can't wait to read it.

Currently halfway through the story and I am very excited to finish when I get any free time. The world is interesting and makes me want to explore and learn more about the setting the author has brought to us.
The book feels like a mix between The Witcher and aspects from The Owl House (certain characters come to mind with descriptions and their personalities). I am equally excited and dreading finishing the story cause on one hand, I can't wait to see what happens on the next page, but also means the end of the book and leaving me hungry for more from this author.
Highly recommended and can't wait to see what else this author does.

Coultish has a way with words that really transports you into Elle's world. Great writing, great characters. A nice plot twist and a set up for a great adventure. Looking forward to the sequel.
