Nicholas Peres does a wonderful job of demystifying AI concepts for the technologically unanointed, so you won’t need a PhD or tech certifications to understand this book.
Staying clear of broader policy debates, The Intelligence Shift instead offers a lucid and optimistic glimpse into an emerging frontier technological landscape, along with a well-reasoned ethical argument for how such epochally powerful technology may be discussed and leveraged at the end-user level.
Following each chapter are quick and practical exercises designed to familiarize the reader with some AI tools. Just short enough to be useful and fun, these activities also include a more comprehensive prompting guide at the end of the book.
