well… I fear I have a new fictional man to obsess over 😭

The romance in this one??? The tension. The chemistry. The looks that last a little too long. I was SAT.

I absolutely loved being thrown into the Callahans’ world and watching the relationship develop. There’s something about small-town romance that just hits different — give me complicated feelings, family drama, secrets and two people who clearly have WAY too much chemistry and I’m sold. 🫠

The romantic tension had me giggling and kicking my feet one minute and screaming JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER the next 😭

I did find the pacing a little slow in places, so it’s not quite a 5⭐️ for me, but once I was invested, there was absolutely no putting it down.

4.5⭐️ — romantic, messy and addictive.

If you like small-town romance, slow-burn chemistry, family drama, yearning and a love interest who has you staring at the page like 👁️👄👁️, add this to your TBR immediately.
