SAVING SARAH: RUN TO ME
Love and redemption
After having spending just one afternoon of amazingly, hot sex. Fate tears Mike and Sarah apart. Sarah thought Mike was the man of her dreams, then she found a painting featuring him with his family and left without looking back. After all. What possible future could she have with a married man? Sarah believes Mike has used her. So, she did what she has spent the last three weeks doing.
She ran.
But that one time will have far-reaching consequences. Ones that neither of them is prepared for. It will change their lives forever.
Mike is shocked to discover that Sarah has left without waiting to talk to him. He doesn't know what made her run, but he suspects it has to do with the painting that depicted his deceased wife. Hurt and anger causes him to act irrationally.
He knows they have a connection that goes beyond sex.
He intends to find her and bring her back. She's his now and he is not letting her go.

“Sarah, you’re confusing me. Do you love him or not?” Jessie whispered as she leaned over my shoulder. I twisted my head to look at her.
“Heart, mind, body, and soul. He’s taken everything, Jessie, everything and left me with nothing except a broken heart. He seemed so real, so true. He made me fall in love with him. God, Jessie, what am I going to do? I thought he was the man of my dreams. Literally. I was actually dreaming of him, Jessie. For months before I even met him.”
But Mike is determined to win her back.
My body was on fire, lust running rampant in my veins. Stepping closer still, I lowered my head to the side of her neck, to her ear. Just as I did the first time we met.
My nose made contact with the shell of her ear and I brushed it with the tip of my tongue. Her hair was plastered to her neck, warm jets of water dripping off it. I slid the wet, clinging strands away, peeling the long tresses off of her throat until my hand slid across her bare skin.
“What are you doing?” she gasped, pushing against my wet chest.
Gazing into her hooded eyes, I saw desire swirling in their cerulean depths.
“Seeing if you taste as good as I remember,” I replied and pressed my mouth to her collar bone.
“Oh, Mike,” her voice trembled as hard as her body did. Her hands came up to my neck and fisted in my hair, she tugged hard for a moment. Then she pushed me away. “You shouldn’t be here. I… what you did.” A ragged sob escaped her lips. “God, what we did… in your bed. In her bed. It…how could you do that Mike? How could you betray your wife like that?
this is a serial and ends with a HFN.
This is a contemporary romance book with **Mature Content** Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations and language.

Sarah is now in California with her best friend Jessie. She has given very few answers to anyone, but Jessie is a great detective and digs up clues to what is troubling her best friend.
Mike is on a mission to find Sarah. He will travel the globe to find her if need be. One of his brothers is also a detective, and decides to help him until he can see that Mike has become almost obsessed. When no one else will help him, Mike turns to Facebook and the internet for answers.
Much of this book, we get a look at Sarah on one side of the country, and Mike looking for her. But, they have very different standpoints on the issue of Sarah leaving. There are assumptions made, threats given and lots of tears all wrapped up within the pages of this story.
Once the answers are exposed, Sarah and Mike begin their reunion off with a BANG! Or was that the headboard? ~ Devlynn, 4 stars

Misunderstanding and heartbreak…
Sarah Hopkins and Mike Hart fell in love but in a blink of an eye, it was lost. A misunderstanding had Sarah running and Mike in a tailspin.
This is the second of what I realize now is at least a trilogy series. There is high drama here as Mike and Sarah both try to deal with their separation. Mike’s feelings are worn on his sleeve as he really does fall apart after Sarah leaves.
I am always happy to be sucked into a “greatest love of all time” story but I’m having a hard time understanding the level of despair Mike feels when Sarah appears lost to him. I get that that they are attracted to each other, that the dreams they had of each other made them familiar to each other before they even met, but I think I am not ‘feeling’ what they are feeling, despite hearing it from their points of view. I’m with Mike’s friends and family, as they are also struggling to find answers to ‘why’.
Ending on a cliffhanger again, with no real resolution to any of the conflicts, I eagerly await the next installment. ~ Diane, 3.5 stars

This is the second book in the Saving Sarah collection. Mike and Sarah finally reconnect after a two-week hiatus. This was due to Mike having an accident and being unable to continue his search for Sarah after she ran away at the end of the first book. Both Mike and Sarah have to face up to their new found feelings and decide if they want to go with it or fight to the bitter end. Sarah believes Mike has betrayed her trust in him. She flees to L.A to be with her best friend and lick her wounds. But fate has a funny way of tying this couple together. So, do they finally get their happy ever after.
They certainly have a raunchy get together and there is a surprise in store. Sarah is on a date with another man and this make Mike mad. Fists fly and not long after so do the clothes.
I really enjoyed this second book and I'm looking forward to the last one. Hopefully, we'll see what that nasty man, Scott has been up to.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance with a bit of suspense to it.

Book 1 ended with Sarah running away from Mike, after she finds the family portrait of Mike, Candice, Joey, and Megan. She thinks she slept with a married man. Mike leaves a note asking her to stay and let him explain everything, after he's called to pick up the kids from camp. No, no, no. It's time to run again. She decides to head to LA early. She has to fly since Bessie, her pink VW bug, met her fiery death. On the plane, she meets Donny the boyfriend of her best friend Jessie. She has to decide stay at hotel or stay with Donny and Jess. After Sarah left, Mike had a fall causing him to spend 2 weeks in the hospital. How is he ever going to find Sarah with all the time he's been out of commission? He will not give up and come to find out Mike knows Donny and Jessie. Will Mike and Sarah finally reunite or is this the end? What about Scott? Is he still looking for Sarah or has he given up? I highly recommend book 2 in this series, but you'll appreciate it more, if you read book 1 first. There is a book 3, but it's not available yet. I can't wait to read it!!!

Part 2 of 3. Oh, where did Sarah go? She's on the run again, this time to L.A. to be with her best friend Jessie. Mike's desolate when he finds her gone and vows to get her back. So begins a detective trail that leads him to Sarah's hometown. Will he find the clues he needs? Will he be confronted by Sarah's past? Scott is still on the loose. No one except Sarah's parents and friends believed her story.
Sarah is sad and lonely in L.A and is questioning her decision to leave. Jessie keeps trying to get answers out of her. Then it becomes obvious that there are consequences to the one night stand she had. Can she stand on her own?

I read book one and right on buy the second the series is really good and you will bite your nails, the story is one fast because get to the point and that is one thing that I like it, I felt the pain where Mike suffer!!!!!!!!! OMG this man is every woman’s dream, yes I like that, the story like I said is very well written and you going to love it!! I 100% recommend it and cannot wait for the third book, I want my HEA!!!

Good storyline but graphic sex not necessary. Also grammar and editing is atrocious. Who in the world is that bad at putting sentences together and spelling. Awful.
It's absolutely embarrassing to release a book with that many grammatical errors. A first grader could have done a better job than that.

Great second book in this series!! Picks up right were book one leaves off. Enjoying the story and characters and can not wait to see what happens next!!
