This series has been so much spicier than the normal ones but I love it. I think seeing the characters fight to express their dominance is what pushes this series over the top.The book is unhinged in the best way but you have to understand this is their kink. Sometimes that’s not always for the observer to understand but for the observer to appreciate !!Once that clicks, everything hits different.

Briar’s trying to fix her life… then gets pulled over by Gareth, and yeah, this is not a normal stop. The tension is immediate and thick. He’s intense, controlling, completely locked in on her.

Gareth is a full alpha-hole obsessive, dominant, and not pretending to be the good guy. But the power play between them? It’s mutual, even when Briar fights it. That push-and-pull is what makes it so addictive.

Briar isn’t weak, she’s conflicted. She wants control, but she’s drawn to something darker and way more intense than she planned.

Not soft. Not sweet. Messy, bold, and a little chaotic, in a way that keeps you hooked.

This is a deliciously short and steamy fast-paced,OTT,age-gap, alpha policeman, forbidden, insta-love romance between Officer Gareth Rawls innocent nursing student Briar. When Briar gets caught speeding by Officer Rawls she expects to get a ticket instead Gareth arrests her on made up charges. Officer Rawls then locks her in an interrogation room where the innocent nursing learns exactly what it means to be interrogated. If Briar was smart she would run but she can't so now Officer Rawls enemies know about her and so does his corrupt captain. Gareth's corrupt captain wants to use Briar to destroy him will he succeed? What about the secrets Gareth's keeping will they destroy everything? You really need to read this deliciously short and steamy fast-paced, OTT,age-gap, alpha policeman, forbidden, insta-love romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This is a short read, very spicy, insta love romance. Our main characters are
Briar Breeman and Officer Gareth Rawls. Briar is our beautiful eighteen year old, sassy heroin.
Gareth is our big, muscular and handsome hero officers of the law.
Gareth experiences a shockingly physical reaction from just seeing Briar sped past his patrol car one day. Briar realized he’s something her innocent self has never experienced before.
And when he cuffs her for no reason it’s starts their life long love story.

The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This is the epitome of an instalust story. The MMC, Gareth, loses his mind when he sees the FMC, Briar. He does some questionable things- heavy power imbalance here. But Briar isn’t complaing too much, even though she think she should. Low angst and drama but plenty of spice.

My reaction to the MMC's actions upon meeting the FMC and his subsequent behavior is, "Is he out of his mind? He seems really obsessed with the FMC. It was actually she who appeared to be the more sensible of the two, and she's the one who saved the day. I really enjoyed the ending, especially the way she outsmarted the villain!".

Girl girl gone bad

Punished by the Policeman is the third book in the Forbidden Authority series by Jenna Rose. This fast read is all action, handcuffs, and punishment for naughty girls. At least that is what happens when Gareth pulls over Briar for speeding and decides to punish her himself. He is a very bad man, in all the tingly, naughty, sparks flying ways.

Young Briar was savvier than she let on. She was also smart in that she did her own research. Loved both characters. Briar and detective Gareth had great chemistry. Felch was creepy and gave a bad name to law enforcement in general. Fast paced. Good quick read.

Jenna never ceases to amaze me with her instant love in her stories. The chemistry between Briar and Gareth was so steamy and full one from page one. The corruption in the side plot did not take away from the story but added a bit of drama to it. Jenna will always be a must read for me. This gives you a few of your favorite tropes. Insta-love, Yes Daddy, HEA, among more.

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Gareth and Briar. The DD/lg story keeps us turning the pages with connection, determination, threats and steam.
