(This listing is for the complete novel, Volumes I-VI.)

A marriage of convenience has never been like this.

Just before her eighteenth birthday, the doctors tell Emily she has three months to live. Not much time to complete the bucket list she's had since she was twelve. The first item is the hardest--"Get married"--so she turns to the only man she knows who can help.

Paul, a barely reformed bad boy, has inherited a fortune from his mother, but his life is defined by his conflicted relationship with his father--a white-collar, organized-crime boss who, thanks to Paul, is being brought up on federal charges. Without Emily's testimony, his father might walk, so Paul agrees to her unconventional proposal. He'll be her husband for her last three months.

They agree that she'll testify against his father and he'll help her complete her bucket list. It's not supposed to be a true marriage. No consummation. No future. No love.

No love.

She's supposed to die, after all, and love might not be enough.

Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. This was one of my first books by this author after discovering her via her Claire Kent books. I loved it so much I instantly became a lifelong fan. Rereading this, I once more fell in love with these characters and was reminded why I became addicted to her writing.

Shakespeare and Company - The Atlantic

Listed is at times a super angsty read as the story is dealing with the imminent death of the heroine. What isn’t apparent, via the blurb, is that it is also sweet and funny as well as hot and steamy. I absolutely adored both Emily and Paul. They are definitely two of my favorite characters.

Justice delayed: Courts overwhelmed by pandemic backlog - CalMatters

Emily was fiercely independent despite being ill but never to the point of being stupid. How brave she was when confronting Paul with her proposition. I loved that she had such a free spirit and a kind heart even when life was literally being yanked away from her.

Paul was an interesting hero. He was struggling with his own issues and yet so protective of Emily even as he was fighting against his own feelings and desires. His slow fall into love was such a beautiful thing.

Above all the angst of this story it is a romance with all that that genre entails. The romance here is absolutely what made me fall in love with these characters, their story, and this author.

I absolutely loved my first read by this author, A Negotiated Marriage, but this one fell short for me.

Yes, I enjoyed it, but the 17/18 and 23 year old main characters seemed more mature than their respective ages.

I read all six of them back to back which helped, because any serial book loses points right off the bat with me. I don't like that format and feel any author that uses it will alienate a portion of her potential audience.

The story was sweet. The main characters were sweet. But I wanted a bit of bitter to counteract the sweet. I was left wondering at the end: about how she contracted the virus, what had happened with Laura and Paul, why was Paul's father so enigmatic, etc.

I would have loved to have read this same story with the characters just a bit older and the unanswered questions fleshed out.

I enjoy Ms. Adams writing skill and will hope for more books from her more along the line of A Negotiated Marriage.

I really enjoyed rereading this book!

I loved how H and h got to know each other, although they grew up in the same community, they didn't interact much. I esp loved to read how they grew closer everyday, and fell in love. They were brought together by a horrible situation, but they built the most beautiful true love that make me want to cry.

Really loved this story!

Turn your brain off at the door.

So...she has a fatal in 3 months mystery virus, yet she travels all over the world--including multiple plane flights and potentially infecting thousands of innocent people--with the connivance and support of her millionaire husband, her personal doctor, nurses, and her medical team!!! And the CDC doesn't know about this, nor does anyone seem to consider it a problem, or worth reporting! Can we say medical ethics fail?!? W.T.H.

Medical and scientific personnel need to STAY AWAY from this book.

(Definitely a wall-banger.)

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this and how fast I was pulled in the story. I can't recall how many times I cried, but they weren't bad tears. No, this book is filled with so much, sappily enough, faith, hope and love to warrant sloppy tears.

I adore Emily and Paul and
I would absolutely read this series again.

"Listed" is a story about 17 yo Emily dying of a mysterious illness who seeks to cross off "Get Married" from her bucket list by proposing to reformed bad boy and stinking rich mid-20s Paul. Did I mention that he's gorgeous? And, of course, Emily is lovely and newly orphaned and alone in the world. Paul decides he has nothing better to do but help Emily cross off items, like sky-diving and seeing the pyramids, and they do each in style. And, how could they resist not growing close, each young, alone and beautiful. Simply unforgettable.

Update 8/25/2018 - Finished this series for the third time late last night. It is still as wonderful and it was the first and second time through!

Emily is a seventeen-years-old who overheard something incriminating that she shouldn't have by a mob boss. It's enough to put him in prison if she testifies. Since somehow she and her aunt were infected with a deadly virus that has no cure she has only three months to live. She wants to do what's right and decides to testify against him.

Paul is twenty-three and unfortunately the son of Vincent, the mob boss. He knows it's time for his father to pay for his crimes so he decides he will also testify against him. He is very saddened that a neighborhood girl, Emily, has had the rotten luck to be poisoned and her aunt has already passed away from the same deadly virus. Emily is a poor young woman with no family and Paul is know as 'Prince Paul.' At only twenty-three he is a very wealthy young man. With a mob boss father and a mother whose family owned a large successful business he has money out the wazoo! He has been a womanizing-playboy since he was approximately fifteen. He attracts women like a magnet. They just drop at his feet...and many on their knees...

Emily has a bucket list she made when she was twelve or thirteen. She is determined to do all the things she has longed to do, one of which is to get married. She decides to ask Paul if he would enter into a marriage arrangement with her until she dies...which is in three months, more or less. Watching these two as they start on a journey of finding love and having so little time together fills your heart but breaks it at the same time.

This is a remarkable read. I loved every bit of it and thought it moved along at a good pace most of the time. There were short periods throughout the book that it slowed a little but it was so intriguing that I hardly noticed. I was not tempted to skim through any parts of the book.

The story is a gripping, emotional trip with wonderful, well-developed characters and I couldn't put it down. This is one that I will reread in a few months.

I fell in love with Paul and Emily. Wouldn't every woman want a Paul in her life? I know I sure would.

I only had a small problem with the story. It didn't feel realistic or authentic that Emily was only 17 and Paul 23. After reading for the third time the last few days it just became blatantly in my face that these two were extremely, almost unbelievably, mature for their age. Emily had the wisdom and knowledge of someone two or three times her age! I, at the very least, thought she would have been early to mid to late twenties if not early thirties. And Paul - it was difficult to believe he was just 23 years old. After all, he was a college grad with an MBA. I would have thought he was in his late twenties. As far as a 17-year-old Emily, she had more maturity, rational thought and wisdom than most adults I know. I am not so sure a 17-year-old high school grad would be so emotionally mature with the depth of wisdom she had.

But as a whole, I adored this book series. I was glad to purchase it all in one. I would have gotten too frustrated waiting for each episode to come out.

UPDATE: 07/23/14--Just finished Listed #1-6 for the second time and I have to say I enjoyed it even more this time around. Emily's strength and wisdom and Paul's devotion was heartwarming. They were the strongest two young people I have ever read about. I am anxious to read more by this author!

I highly recommend this book. For me, it was extraordinary and I don't want any romance lover to miss it!

I enjoy Noelle Adams’ books – but if I am honest, I’d have to say I really didn’t like this one. The story starts out of the blue (there is no beginning!) so the characters are already acquainted to each other, the trial against Paul's father is already scheduled and she is already one of the witnesses.

Then, all over sudden, Emily proposes marriage to Paul exchanging her testimony against his father for the completion of her "bucket list", which she wrote when she was 12 but includes.... wait for it.... to strip in a nightclub for men. Yes, you heard me: a striptease! The list also includes camping under the stars, visiting the Pyramids in Cairo, hiking a volcano and ice skating, among other things. Oh, and she is dying from a mysterious virus that gives her horrible fevers every other day.

You read hundreds and hundreds of pages and even if Paul is described as a man with depth, there's very little about his so called complexity and next to nothing about his father, why they "hate" each other or what he did to Paul's mum that would explain his testifying against him.

There are however plenty of scenes where he is always horny wondering if Emily wants to have sex again. One particular scene I could not understand was when he said no to sex because he was too upset and therefore he wouldn't be able to control himself and was afraid to be rough on Emily. Really. What was Noelle Adams thinking.

The plot, the characters and the action they are all too forced and unreal, hence they failed to captivate me.

I finished the series and here is my overall review...

What a fantastic read! I have to say, I am fairly impressed with Noelle Adam and I am so happy I took on a risk and decided to read Listed

When I first read the summary I was a little impressed, but kind of nervous because of the lack of reviews, but I figured since there’s 6 novellas it wouldn’t hurt to start with one.

[Summary]

Emily has 3 months to live. She has compiled a list of 14 things she wants to do before she dies and one of them is to get married. Paul wants Emily to testify in his father’s trial because she overheard incriminating evidence that would help put Paul’s father in jail. Emily tells Paul she will testify if Paul helps Emily complete her list, including marrying her. Paul agrees.

[Review]

Okay, so you are probably thinking is this going to be a sad book? Yes and no. Yes because Emily is dying and no because the story is so unrealistic. I basically read it as a fantasy. I am a huge fan of the whole damsel-in-distress story line and Listed is so there.

One of the most important things I look for in any romance novel is character development between the Hero and Heroine and you get that in Listed . I love there is no insta-love. I didn’t want Paul to look at Emily and magically fall in love with her, but I also didn’t want Paul to dislike her either. Paul treated Emily on a business-like level in the beginning and it was just really nice seeing the friendship form.

My favorite part is when Emily started to get symptoms and the story kind of shifted. You felt bad for Emily, yet it was really nice seeing Paul take care of Emily and going crazy with the fact that the girl is dying. Tragic I know, but it makes for a great read. There are a few steamy parts, but overall the story is pretty mild.

I really liked the writing style and flow of the book. Everything worked for me and I’m going to keep Noelle Adams on my radar.

Does reading novellas suck? Yeah, it does usually, but each book is pretty lengthy on its own (compared to other books that are broken into multiple parts), each is about 80 pages (except for the last part). You could buy the whole series and save a dollar (I would recommend that).

I think the ending is pretty obvious so don’t expect tears. If you want something light and you like the “save-me” theme kind of book, then Listed is for you.

After Paul's mother dies, he turns himself around. No longer living like the wild-child he was, he's determined to put his criminal corruptive father in jail. He just needs help from 17 year old Emily.

Emily is nearly eighteen. Her aunt has not long passed, along with her father. She has no family left. Now Paul needs her, she was witness to a conversation that could put his father in jail.

Paul and Emily have grown up in the same town, always around each other. Where she's been independent for years, living with just her aunt and scrimping money, he's been living the high life with girls and riches.

Emily's aunt died from a virus, a virus that Emily has found out that she also had. Doctors estimate she has three months of life left. She decides to strike a bargain with Paul. If he can help her tick off her items on her bucket list, she will help put his father in jail. First on the list... Get married.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Good start to the series of 6 books, which seem to be 80 to 100 pages long each apart from the last. It was too long for my liking, sometimes felt a little repetitive, maybe best not to read them all in one go like i did.

The author seems to deal in all sorts of characters that experience a marriage of convenience. I really loved her book Married for Christmas.

This is casually, but very well written, the characters are interesting and it was full of emotion.

Emily and Paul

She is dying from a virus his fathers company created. His father is a mob boss and he is headed for jail with her testimony against him. She has a list of things she wanted to accomplish. She wrote it when she was 12 she is now 17 - 1 month until 18.

Paul is trying to help her kick the virus. She has been given 3 months to live. One of the items on her list is get married. He agrees to a marriage of convenience. Only he is slowly falling for her. He is 23.

He seems pretty young for all of this - and her as well. I wasn’t into the trial and all the under doings… wasn’t interesting to me. There are some heart breaking moments as he is falling in love and has to come to terms that she is dying.

Hj while camping. And she turns him down sometimes due to not feeling well or just not feeling it - don’t really read this. He usually then ended up taking care of himself in the shower.

Noelle Adama writes sweet but alpha males, and feisty yet sweet heroines, and this was no different. What is certain is that she always delivers an engaging story, though this was a bit redundant.

Review
This was originally published as individual serial stories that interconnected to tell the story. This book is the compilation of those individual serials into one book. I don't read serials so this was the only way I'd read this story. However, bare in mind that this book won't have quite the typical structure and pacing as a single novel because of its origins. It didn't bother me but I could feel the difference in pacing with more mini arcs. There were also more frequent smaller issues for the couple to resolve that would last several chapters that I'm sure were each in their own serial.

Also, due to the origin of this book being serials it is a tad more angsty than a lot of this author's other books. It wasn't too much though, so this reader who does not like a lot of angst was never overwhelmed by it.

This trope for this story, for all basic purposes, is a marriage of convenience romance. The heroine has contracted a fatal virus and doesn't have long to live. The setup for the two main characters to come together might be a little contrived but if you can get around that and not think over the details too much you can enjoy the story more.

This author is one of the few that can get me behind a former "bad boy" as a hero. Those are not usually great fits for me. Somehow in this story it works with what you uncover about the Hero's past and the reason he has turned his life around. He has started on a new path before he and the heroine get together which I think is an important point and makes who he currently is more believable. It also helps you buy into their future.

One thing of note about the ending.

Also, I read in some reviews that the MC's seemed older than their ages. Maybe, but they have both been through a lot more than most people their age. That definitely makes people grow up quickly. There were moments when both showed their age. I think that we are so used to reading about very young seeming people that we forget that some people these ages are mature for their ages despite most New Adult books.

The Hero had his controlling moments early on that I was worried would ruin things for me. Luckily that was reigned in before too long and I was able to move beyond it.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster! Wow! This one had me in tears at one point. Emily finds out she's contracted a strange virus, the same one that killed her aunt. She has, at the most, three months to live. Stop right there! If you're like me you're skeptical now. I've read enough tear-jerkers to know how this is going to play out, right? It's a case where somebody mixed up a lab test and the person isn't going to die or there's an antidote if they can just get to it in time. Of course there's always a billion obstacles in their way. Not so with this one. It's totally different. The story has an unusual twist to it.

Paul is an acquaintance of Emily's. She's secretly had a crush on him but knows she's not the type of girl he'd ever be interested in. For one thing, he's quite wealthy, was born into it, and she's from the opposite side of the track, so to speak. She's not trashy by any means but she certainly doesn't run in the same circles as Paul and comes nowhere close to the type of woman he normally dates. He once partied hard and had a bevy of women on a string. While he's since changed his ways and is not the same wild, reckless boy he used to be, he still has a reputation. Even so, he's the one Emily turns to for help.

Paul thinks Emily is beautiful. She's sweet spirited and even though she's only seventeen, she's on her own and quite independent. When she comes to him and asks him to marry her, he's stunned. It seems she has a list of things she made up when she was little of things she wants to do before she dies. At the top of the list is get married.

A little background is needed here. Paul's father is a crime boss, someone Paul doesn't want anything to do with. In fact, he was the one who turned his father into the authorities, alerting them to the man's illegal activities. He wants to see justice done and his father put away. Their relationship is complicated but Paul has always been at odds with the man and has the scars to prove it. He's also discovered that Emily overheard a conversation between Paul's father and another man that could seal his father's fate if Emily testifies against him.

So in exchange for Paul marrying her, she will testify for him and they'll both get what they want. Her offer is too tempting for Paul to turn down. He'd like nothing better than to see his father behind bars and in the process help a dying woman fulfill her last wish. He actually goes about helping her cross off all the items on her list and as he does the two of them begin to truly care for one another. However, that's the last thing Emily expected when she proposed. She hadn't planned on Paul loving her, never thought he might truly mourn for her when she's gone.

What happens during the course of their relationship is much different than what I thought it would be. There are little twists and turns to the story I didn't expect. His father's possible involvement in Emily's illness, the length Paul will go to in order to save her, and Emily's own struggle to accept her fate now that she has Paul, are just a small part of what made the story enjoyable. One reason I love this author's work is because her characters are unique. They constantly surprise you. You never know what you are going to get. Instead of producing carbon copy heroines that live the same and act the same in every book, hers are genuine, each with something special to bring to the story. This was no different. Definitely worth reading.

Okay.. So. I have to admit that the synopsis really was what drew me in. I was really intrigued on how this story would turn out in the end. I didn't look at any reviews. The synopsis was what made me decide on reading this.

I've never read any books by Noelle, but after reading this..I definitely wouldn't mind reading other books by her. I liked her writing style. The plot was really great. Though I did have trouble getting started. I'm not sure whether it's because I just got out of a reading slump, or I don't know.. But the only complain or the only thing I disliked was how short it was. I felt like the story could have been better if certain parts were dealt into deeper. I just felt like it was too short. I really wanted to interact more with the characters.

For the characters.. Emily. She's a really strong woman, but a little bit stubborn. That doesn't bother me because I can get pretty stubborn at times. But I really admired her. She puts people she really loves before her. Like if she's feeling unwell, she tries her best to stick and persevere through a situation instead of giving up and backing out right at that moment. I really admired her will. Though she can be a little bit clueless.. There were times.. just a few.. when I felt like throwing water at her to wake up. But overall, I really liked Emily and I thought that she's an enjoyable character to read.

Now for Paul.. I don't know why but I enjoyed his POV better. (And yes, I'm so glad that it was dual POV. I really love dual POV because you get to see from two sides of the story. And you pretty much get to learn and experience more with the character.) He's a really great character. You can definitely see him developing and reading him was amazing. I think it was because of him that I enjoyed this story a lot. I'm always looking forward to reading things from his perspective. You kind of get connected to Paul and Emily easily. It's really awesome.

And the ending.. no, it's not a spoiler. I really wished that the last volume was longer. I really didn't want to stop reading about them. The reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was because of how the story ended. I really wanted more. It was just over too soon. I felt like the ending had so much potential and there were so many emotions involved. The last volume was really the important part of the book. I had to admit that I cried. And for the book to end just like that.. it was too short! Anyway, you pretty much get why it got a 3.

Short.. Short.. Short.. Short.. Short..

I've pretty much been repeating it. So yeah, overall, it was a great book. It's definitely a very high 3, near 4. So definitely check it out if you love contemporary novels. I don't normally read contemporary.. those that I have read are mostly a little bit dark. But this was okay. I really enjoyed it.

Spoilers!

What's it all about?
Just before her 18th birthday Emily is told that she only has three months to live. With the blackmail against Paul to testify against his father in return for marriage, this is the start to the last moments of Emily’s life. Paul is going to be the first check mark off of her to do list before she dies, and he will help her fulfill this list. I mean it’s only three months, no way that this marriage of convenience could become more, right?

The Best Parts:
I must say that this novel was cute, and the story line is one that is very intriguing. The parts that I liked the most were when there was actual contact with the characters. When they interacted together you got to see just who they were, and it made them more believable, but when things got overly summarized, then they started to dwindle away from me. This was one thing I did have a hard time with when reading, since when I got to pages upon pages of just summarizing paragraphs I just kind of skimmed through.

The Worst Parts:
I felt that there was a lot the was off kilter about this novel. The characters seemed hot and cold and changed personalities a lot, based on their situation. The interaction sometimes between Paul and Emily seem nieve, but she is 18 and he is 23, but she is very mature for her age, so I don’t see why there had to be that dynamic in the character. I also felt like the end of the book was a little dry. The happy ending just seemed to appear, and didn’t really have a full on explanation. I mean the girl was dying, and then there were treatments, and then she isn’t dying, and no one really knows why and it’s kind of weird since no one actually knows what kind of virus she had.

Final thoughts:
I started this book a good while ago. I got about half way through it and just put it down one day with no reason at all. I picked it back up a few days ago to finish it, and that is when I realized why I stopped it. The book moved really fast and slow all at the same time. I felt frustrated it, and quickly finished it so that I would be done with it finally. I wanted so much more out of this book now than I did when I bought it.

Really really liked Listed. (I must have since I waited and bought all parts^^) I didn't give it five stars just because I reserve that for books that completely vow me.

Listed is a good story, the characters are both likeable and the plot is great. I was excited to know how it ended from the beginning and I didn't like that I had to wait for the other parts to be released...but all of you who can read my review won't have that problem :-)

Holy hell these people mastebated a lot lol ***maybe a little spoiler-ish***

This was a journey of a love story. There were mob bosses, court hearings, houses burning down, pyramids, volcanos, camping, skinny dipping, a life ending virus, donkey's lol, ice skating, paparazzi, sweet virgin sex, smokin (finally) adult sex, weddings....... They did so much together. And through it all this couple, Emily and Paul, were constant. Through the journey you grew to see and feel a love that you knew would last forever. It was so much more than chemistry and sexual attraction. Emily and Paul bonded through heartache, emotional and physical pain, self discoveries and self sacrifices, and in between they laughed, they shared sweet romantic moments and they fell in love and they loved deeply.

I could go on and on lol there was a lot of detail in this story.

Nothing boring, no complaints, the characters were both awesome people. You'll grow to love them both. And turn the pages quickly to see how it all works out!

I randomly stumbled across this book and I'm so glad I did!

I loved this book. It starts out a bit slow, but you can't put the book down once you start falling in love with Paul! Let me tell you a little about Paul, he's someone who every girl dreams to end up with, he's not the typical alpha-possessive-immature male who all of us women are attracted to during teenage or even early adulthood. He's just perfect!

This story is about a beautiful relationship, a marriage for convenience grows into love. This book has made me cry, laugh and laugh. This first seems like a usual sappy romance novel, it's not! I recommend it to everyone! Even those who aren't that fond of romance. This book is a must read for everyone!

I hope everyone else falls in love with this book, just the way I did!

It's got a great premise, it really does. I love the idea of a terminally ill girl trying to complete her bucket list and getting married before she dies. But it was all a little too much for my liking. The dead parents, the criminal's son, the bio weapon (?), the mysterious virus, the incredibly wealthy "bad boy geek", the sex, the fevers, the jetsetting to France, Egypt, California, Hawaii... it was just too OTT (and repetitious) at times. I'm all for conflict and action, but it felt as if Noelle Adams tried to squeeze in every single conflict/ problem there is in the world. I just didn't find it very believable. A shame, because I think the story's got amazing potential. But, as the ratings show, opinions differ. Happy reading.

This is a novel to be released in 6 volumes over the next 6 weeks. While the beginning is a good set up for what's to come, there was little action. I do think that I'll like the coming volumes better.

2.5
two stars means okay, right? so two point five means more than okay? so that's it. listed is more than okay, Emily's story is really heartbreaking but the romance with Paul for me is a little bit too cheesy, but it's a good novel if you like the genre.

First read in 2013.

This is not one of her best works. This a new adult rather than contemporary romance - to be honest still don’t really understand why the h was 17 (and the H... 23!)

Emily is terminally ill due to a mysterious virus, a biological weapon created by Paul’s (his name gives me the ick lol) mafia dad. They are both part of the federal trial to put his dad away. Emily essentially has a bucket list of things she wants to do before she dies. That makes it sounds more intense than it is - it’s really a sweet story with the H helping the h complete her list. First is getting married, even though it’ll be in name only. The conflict arises from them falling for each other despite this always being a 3 month marriage.

It was an okay story, originally a serial but it really doesn’t need to be 500 odd pages long. It is a slow burn between the MCs, no sex until Emily turns 18. That happens around the 50% mark (incidentally that’s also when the trial ends). The age gap annoys me (don’t mind large age gaps but she’s 18!). Emily and Paul grew up in the same neighbourhood but Paul’s father is a mafia boss turned mostly businessman, and his mother a department store heiress? Emily’s dad owned a convenience store in the neighbourhood. That didn’t really gel with me.

There was also constant “sneers” and “irony” where I’m pretty certain the author actually meant something else.

Steam rating: 3/5.
There was some buildup and tension with both of them wanting each other. The sex scenes included: creampies, handjob, some prolonged fingering, and lots of hero self-pleasure. The scenes were quite straightforward though, so spice was kinda toned down.

My steam ratings are sort of based on the romance.io scale as a rough guide looking at: how much sex is in the book, language used, and sexual acts.
1/5 no sex on or off page, kisses only
2/5 sex is closed door/fade to black, at least one scene
3/5 open door sex, usually euphemisms for the act/body parts, at least one scene
4/5 explicit open door sex, explicit language, at least two scenes with a variety of acts
5/5 explicit and plentiful open door sex throughout the book

Quirky and humbling, intense and uplifting!

Emily is an extremely mature 17 year old who is used to having life spill crap on her. Her dad is dead, now her last relative her aunt, is also dead from an unknown untreatable virus. Add to that the fact that she overheard the local neighborhood crime boss making nefarious plans. So he, supposedly, burnt her house down. Bullies make her mad and so now she's decided to testify against him in court. His son Paul is also determined to see justice served by testifying against his dad. So much going on but the worst for Emily is now she's sick with the same virus that killed her aunt. She's only got 3 months to live and she's got a bucket list to fulfill. First on the list is "get married", and she knows just the guy to ask. Paul doesn't exactly know what to think about Emily's request for him to marry her and help her cross off items on her bucket list before she dies. The emotional roller coaster ride this book provides is amazing. I laughed and cried and rooted hard for Emily and paul. Read Listed for yourself, but come prepared with tissues.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I usually tend to avoid marriages for convenience romances but this work. I adored Paul and Emily. There were times when I cried and laughed along with them. There were very bitter moments, sad moments, and light-hearted ones to balance everything out. One thing I noticed that kinda annoyed me that the author loved to tell us what happened instead of show us. Something would occur but we get the aftermath when the MCs are winding down or reflecting. That was slightly irritated to read. I don't want to know that Emily did this and that. I wanted to read it as she's doing so.

There were also a lot of potholes within the book. We never discovered who was behind the virus, how it was contracted, or little important details like that. But it doesn't affect how I enjoyed Listed too much. I love, love stories with characters who were never supposed to be together but did and fell deeply in for each other. Paul is one of my favorite hero of all time. His character growth amazed me. He was the perfect man. While Emily was a bit...extreme at times I admired her bravery and courage for what she had to face.

Love against all odds

That was the most emotion charged love story I have ever had the pleasure to read.

Emily is dying and may not reach her 18th birthday but before she goes she wants to complete the things she has written on her bucket list, a list she wrote when she was 12 years old. First on her list is to get married and she knows just who to ask...Paul.

Paul only agrees because she promises to testify at his fathers court hearing. He never expected what started out as just fulfilling her wish list would ultimately end in him falling in love. But how will he cope when she is gone.

This is a romance like no other, showing just how much we are willing to do and go through for those we love. Have the tissues ready, it is a tear jerker. But it ends in the best possible way. So if you can cope with that than you won’t be disappointed in this incredibly heartwarming story of love and sacrifice.
