Award-winning author Margaret Moore actually began her career at the age of eight, when she and a friend concocted stories featuring a lovely, spirited damsel and a handsome, misunderstood thief nicknamed "The Red Sheik."
Unknowingly pursuing her destiny, Margaret graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. During that time, she also became a Leading Wren with the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve, where she learned to use a variety of weapons and had the weepy experience of being tear-gassed.
In addition to being a wife and mother of two, she's also been an award-winning public speaker, synchronized swimmer, an archer, and studied fencing and ballroom dancing.
Margaret sold her first historical romance and the premiere book of her Warrior series, A WARRIOR'S HEART, to Harlequin Historicals® in 1991. Since that time, she's written over 25 historical romance novels and novellas. She has also written for Avon Books, as well as a young adult historical romance for HarperCollins Childrens Books. She now writes for Harlequin's new single title imprint, HQN.
Her books have been published in France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Brazil, Korea, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, Russia, Poland and India.

One thing’s for sure, the hero and the heroine are made for each other for their banters are nothing but hilarious which was the last thing I expected from an old romantic novella. I am not particularly a fan of instant love, but given how men and women’s interactions back then are EXTREMELY SCARCE, I’ll let this slide. The end too was amusing for I, for one, thought blood would be spilled, but such was not the case.
Nonetheless, yes, I did enjoy this one and most likely, I would read other works of the author.

This is a good historical romance story of a rebel Welsh outlaw, Dafydd ap Iolo, and a reluctant Norman bride, Madeline de Montmorency. This adventure is a game of hide and seek, as the bride's brother aims to find her, while Dafydd tries to keep her protected and hidden. This is an enjoyable read.

Awesome from first page to last page. Madeline wants to have a life and not be under her brother's thumb. She and Dafyd make an unlikely couple but the sexual tension is evident from the first time they lock eyes.
The various difficulties and adventures they encounter go from harrowing to exciting. They were a couple to root for. I was very caught up in the story and couldn't put the book down almost. Wish there were a follow up book telling of their lives after the marriage!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a welsh rebel reformed after severe injuries and the sister of a Norman noble who has spent the last 10 yrs in a convent and is told she is to leave the convent to marry another Norman noble without any notice.
