Like the first book Cain I couldn't put it down. Adam is everything you want jn a man. He's Possessive, protective, jealous, caring, takes what he wants, and will do whatever it takes.

Isabella is fearless, Sassy, demanding, protective, loves fiercely, knows what she wants.

Isabella's father is a controlling, demeaning prick and since she was born he's wanted to sell her virginity to the highest bidder. Isabella had no clue. She always had a personal bodyguard because her dad is the head of the underworld and he wants her to remain pure and untouched.

In walks Adam. Isabella snuck out to a bar one night and net Adam at a bar not long after she got there her bodyguard and dad found her. Her dad wanted to k*ll Adam but Isabella stepped in.

Every now and then, I come across a book that completely consumes me, making me refuse to put it down until I’ve devoured the very last page and this book was exactly that. From the opening chapters, the plot and storyline had me completely on the edge of my seat, desperately needing to know what would happen next. A massive part of that addiction came down to Adam’s sarcastic, blunt humor, which had me literally crying laughing out loud. It is entirely my kind of humor. Combined with the incredible tension and delicious relationship dynamic between him and Isabella, the pages practically turned themselves.
But as amazing as the romance was, watching Isabella's character development was arguably even better. She starts off so timid and shy, but watching her grow into a confident, lethal, absolute badass woman by Adam’s side was incredibly rewarding. And speaking of their chemistry, the spice was completely off the charts (hello, chapter 20?!?). It seamlessly balanced high stakes plot with phenomenal character growth and unforgettable romance. I am utterly obsessed with this book, and it easily earned an immediate, permanent spot in my top favorites collection!

This book was completely unhinged. Adam was the morally black character with that sexy sarcastic attitude we love! He really pulled out Isabella’s crazy and I was here for it!!

What did I just read! Omg! Thank you for the ARC, dear Author!

Contain spoilers!

I knew i would fall in love with Adam from the first book of the series. Something drove me to him. This sunshine is my sunshine (and not as sunshine as I thought)

The story follows Adam as he meets with Isabella, and if that is not fate, I dont know what it is!

Isabella is drawn to Adam as she is always drawn to things she can not have (like freedom). But Adam is also drawn to the forbidden to what he should not want to have. Those 2 are like 2 peas in a pot!

Adam met his match in many ways he just can't realize it at first. After all, he has a list, a plan. But meeting Isabella makes him re-prioritize.

As for the story, first I missed Cain! I was glad I saw them with Katerina. Second! *singing* JudAs Juuudas JudAs!! I need a book about him, so many questions and soooo many plot twists!

They started like he was her hero while he said i am clearly they villain, but in the end, I believe they are eachothers heroes. Those two were meant to meet and love and care for each other. Adam would destroy the world for her, and Isabella would do anything for him, and this is how you right an epic love with dark elements. It has equal parts of madness and love. The balance is *chef's kiss*

Tropes

Princess x Bodyguard
Bicker/Explicit assasin MMC
Virgin FMC
Forbidden Romance
Dark dark elements
Knife play
Mutual obsession
They do love each other so much!

ARC REVIEW:
Golden retriever MMC… but make it unhinged and lowkey crazy as fucck. The fact Adam is a biker had me obsessed with him immediately. The biker x “princess” dynamic?? elite.

We’ve got a 30 x 19 age gap, forbidden love, bodyguard/ex-assassin vibes, AND he’s a vigilante?? YES YES YES.
"People talk about the angel and the devil on your shoulders. My angel stopped arguing a long time ago" - Adam
I LOVE Adam (probably even more than Cain) although he's morally grey i actually found him to be sweet and actually so funny.

The “touch her and die” trope is one of my favourites and adding the MC's mutual obsessions and possessiveness was HOT!!!

More spicy chapter tropes included:
- knife play,
- primal play,
- mirror scenes… ;)
The spice (🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5) was 100% delicious, i ate up every moment. ESPECIALLY later on in the book (the maze...)

I loved the plot—it was so fucking interesting although i did find it was kinda a slow start at least for me; (past 30%) once it started picking up a bit more, I was entirely pulled in (especially around that “f*ck it” moment)!😏😏

Up to around halfway, some of the dialogue had me cringing a bit, the dirty talk didn’t alwaysss land. The FMC did feel slightly immature/ignorant to her surroundings at times… which, okay, she is 19, but still, it stood out but throughout the book i feel like her character really grew on me (during the epilogue she had me genuinely in love with her!!)

Oh boy. Where do I start.

First off, I want to thank Ever After PR and Glyka for the arc copy, and to say that my review has been left voluntarily and honestly. Now let's get into the fun stuff.

This book, from beginning to end, was so strongly written that I couldn't put it down. From the very first page, I knew exactly who Adam and Isabella were, and throughout the whole story, their development made sense, wasn't rushed, and stayed true to their voices. Starting with Adam as a ruthless killer who doesn't care where orders come from because he does the job, and Isabella, the sheltered Mafia daughter who can't even go to school without an itemized security detail. They meet in a bar and all bets are off when he becomes her new security guard.

I honestly can't even think of something I disliked about this book. I completely devoured it. The mutual obsession, the complex and rich back stories - it's all SO well done and dynamic I couldn't get enough of it. You know exactly who they are, and as the story goes on you learn why in a way that makes sense. (With that, I will say, the family histories and backstories are *dark* in this one so be mindful.

It is an instalust type of situation, Adam and Isabella are very much attracted to each other but by the time they finally act on it, it feels earned, and grounded in reality with how the timeline and story progresses.

All in all, this one was incredible and SO good and you should definitely add it to your tbr.

Addictive Chaos, Obsession and Morally Grey MMCs what more could you ask for!!!

I went into this without realising it was the second book in the series, and now I’m immediately going back to read book one because Adam completely stole my attention from the start.

This was such an addictive dark romance with the perfect mix of obsession, danger, tension, and emotional chaos. Isabella has spent her whole life controlled by everyone around her, while Adam walks in carrying secrets, violence, and the kind of energy that screams trouble. Their connection felt intense right from the beginning, and the chemistry between them never let up.

Adam is exactly the kind of morally grey MMC I love — possessive, ruthless, protective, and fully aware he’s the villain in someone else’s story. But somehow, with Isabella, it just works. The “touch her and die” energy throughout this book was unmatched.

I also loved that Isabella wasn’t weak despite how sheltered she’d been. She matched Adam’s darkness in ways he never expected, and together they became completely unhinged in the best way.

With forbidden romance, a bodyguard/assassin MMC, mutual obsession, dark family secrets, and twists I genuinely didn’t see coming, this book kept me hooked the whole way through.

I've not read any books from this author before and I can confidently say this will not be my last (I hadn't realised this was the 2nd book in a series and I'll be running to read the first now)! 😍
We follow Isabella and Adam as they navigate a treacherous world together and uncover just how deep sickness can run in people.
Isabella is a typical mafia-style princess, locked in her own house and kept away from making connections with anyone around her. She comes across Adam one night in a bar after she sneaks out and to save his life (or so she thinks), gets him to become her new bodyguard.
Adam is a professional assassin and has finally landed a job he's been hoping for but all his plans come crashing down when he meets Isabella one night.
This is a dark and exciting romance that involves dysfunctional families, an obsessive MMC and an FMC who gets exactly what she wants! There's dark moments, tragic backstories and twists I never saw coming! 💕

I'm obsessed with their obsession, like seriously, holy hell, what a hell of a ride this was.
For starters it has 97 triggers and it's absolutely menacing which drags you into the chaos and you can't help craving more of it.
I really didn't want this to end, the characters are unhinged I was consumed by them, your second guessing everyone and who to truly trust which in this world it should be no one.
I loved how it all started the tension, the obsession, possessiveness and the banter of the MCs it made me devour this book in one sitting, I had to know how it ended and I'm glad I did it was beautifully done.
If you like dark romance with so many triggers you need this now.

Tropes:
Bodyguard - Princess
Touch her you die
Kneels for her

The Savages book 2 (Cain is book1)

This Book Glyka Be Proud.

Ok so first off Adam Hello! He is your New Morally Grey Book Boyfriend. He has no filter and says it how it is. He is there to clean up the world and doesn't care how much blood is spilt. There is no good in there, only evil.

Isabella (little orchid) She is the Doms daughter, no one! No one is aloud to touch her, they do and he dies oh and so does she! She is nothing but property until Adam sees her, sees who she really is.

How much blood will be spilt so that they can be together?

I highly recommend this book and this series, book 3 is also coming 👀

This book was intriguing.
I'm not a big fan of bodyguard romance but this one was good, for me it felt like a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Adam is a very damaged man and his mind is insane while Isabella is a "spoiled" girl that isn't loved by her family.
They meet by chance but in the end they are exactly what they need, they are each other saviors.
The plot was well build and the romance was sizzling.
The villains are very repulsive and I loved that.
I want to thank the author for sending me an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review
