I want to say a huge thank you to Love Notes PR for granting me a copy of this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

It is no secret that I love a cowboy romance and this book was that to a T. The synopsis of this read was everything I ever look for in a romance so I knew it would be a winner.

I really liked Carina as a fmc - she just wanted the best for herself and what she had been through was pretty rough going. Rhett was everything I would expect a cocky man to be and more. He was full on to say the least, but deep down he had so much time for Carina.

This gave all the small town kinda vibes that feel like home in a romance novel, and it was nice to see the progression of family dynamics in this book too. Yes, the romance was prominent, but it still felt like there was more to the book than the usual romance plot.

It was very, very quick paced, and that at times felt quite a lot. I tend to like something a bit slower, and potentially more realistic and natural, but I am all for a fast paced romance read once in a while.

Who doesn’t want a hot cowboy who only wants to please you?

Carina is living in Summerville Texas for the next year and while on a break, sees a man who she immediately is drawn to. Rhett has recently returned and upon seeing Carina for the first time, he falls for her too. Only he doesn’t catch her name or where she works for another two weeks thanks to bad timing on both their parts but once they do, the title of the book holds true. Through work struggles and family issues, Rhett and Carina show they’re better together and can’t keep their hands off each other.

Rhett and Carina get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.

This is a very heavily spice driven book but there is still some plot mixed in with it. I like how the author balanced it out but we also got some real moments between the couple. I do wonder how big their family eventually got with how little they could keep their hands off each other or if Carina was serious about being done after that last one.

I received an advance review copy from Love Notes PR, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Carina and Rhett are couple goals. We love a man who knows what he wants and goes after it. From the get go he was set on Carina and it was super refreshing. This book is super low angst with no drama and so much fun to go along with it.

Carina is an FMC that everyone will love. She's comfortable in her skin, a powerhouse at her job, confident and at times quite funny. Rhett is such a good time and has such a filthy mouth it brings the smutty feeling that you're looking for.

Do yourself a favour and pick this one up. She's lots of fun and the perfect palette cleanser when you're looking for something fun, quick and easy to read!

review time even tho it’s not a book I usually reach for it was pleasant nonetheless it’s a 4/5 stars for me here’s why;

literally finished this in one sitting it started out as a cliche yk fuck boy x the good girl trope and few things I was like wtf is this I didn’t like it but than I got to reading it and it made me giddy other than me not liking the starting I love their evolution genuinely it’s extremely fast paced nothings slow tbh but still it’s good 4 stars for me haven’t read a cowboy romance in a while it was a good pallet cleanser since I went from paranormal shifters to cow boy romance directly

scarlett… now where have you been hiding this man?? and why were we hiding him??

so this story follows carina and rhett. carina ends up in a small town but is originally from NY. she is just moving about her life not sure what’s going to happen but loves the small town that she’s in. rhett is the hot cowboy who used to be a rodeo star until he got seriously injured.

they cross paths, and it is steamy okay 🤭💀. his beef wrangler is now acquainted with her wet bloom petals LMAO.
she’s a virgin so of course he talks her through doing the bull mouth tango with her mouth LMAO.

listen, as a fluffy small town girly, this definitely hit the spot.

I liked the small town vibes, a big city girl and a small town cowboy. I also liked the characters of Carina and Rhett, I think they were both likeable and had a lot of positive things going for them.

Unfortunately for me, the story felt lacking. Everything moved very quickly and the “insta love” was a bit too much for me. Because of this, I felt like I didn’t get to see the relationship develop, it went from nothing to everything all at once.

I did enjoy the ending with Rhett, it added more to his story.

this book honestly felt super insta lovey. they had ONE meeting, that too was cut short. they became immediately obsessed w each other within 5 mins of meeting. it also felt like there was no emotional connection between then mcs. it was just purely physical.

however, i really like the small town vibes, amd carina's big family ftw!! we actually need a separate book about her side of the family tbh.

Insatiable by Scarlett Avery is exactly what we mean when us girls say, “I want to read a sexy cowboy romance.” The plot is interesting enough to keep you entertained between the spicy scenes and the cowboy is tall and handsome. Would recomend if you need a quick escape from the everyday.
