A classic work in the whisky literature with reason. The expertise of Michael Jackson is well noticeable by the detailed explanations and stories with almost every distillery in Scotland. His love for Macallan and Springbank can also be noted by the long list of thorough tasting notes on expressions from those distilleries. A must read for every whisky lover!

Excellent explanations and descriptions that made my mouth water, I have tried more than a handful of these, but this book has made me start working on a plan for the future. This text doesn't just talk about the Scotch, but is a handy travel guide to Scotland (if you are into Scotch). Check it out.
