The World Cup has 48 teams. This book covers it all, with time for history, stadiums with details about each area and the top teams with tactics.
For instance, on one occasion the author spelled out plans that coaches might have to contain a certain attacking player. Connecting passes is spoken of a lot to showcase possible improvements for teams.
Some books are stat driven. This one is focused on goals for players to give you an idea of their scoring ability. I like how the author represents goals knowing that it's a stat that changes with time. The writer would say so and so has reached the 5 goal mark, meaning he's around 5 and that could change with time, like with a hat-trick. Other times where it was appropriate the writer pointed out so and so had 30 goals.
I suppose you can be distracted if you hear other stories about other books. But you've got a good one here in the form of this book.
