I just finished Reclaiming His Heart, and I absolutely loved it!
This short story is such a fantastic, punchy read. What I really loved most was the connection between Daniel and Reed—their story was just wonderful.
What I also appreciated is that even though it’s part of a series, it works perfectly as a standalone; you can jump right into this story without needing to read the previous installment to follow along. Wade has delivered another job well done with this one. If you’re looking for a quick, satisfying story to pick up, I highly recommend this!

This was a good and quick read. The setting is interesting and the characters are likeable. I think this should’ve been a longer book considering the plot and the number of characters. Sometimes it felt flat and kinda rushed especially the love story. Still this was a good book to read in one sitting, would recommend.

This was such a lovely novella! it's my first book from this author and I'm surely going to keep an eye on them, because I enjoyed their writing very much.
This is a second chance at love: Daniel and Reed got married five years before the start of the story, during a classified mission. After breaking each other's heart, they haven't seen one another in all that time and now they have a chance to reconnect.
I absolutely adored how calm and composed Daniel was reduced to a hot mess the second he sees Reed again for the first time and I loved Reed's determination to get back together.
My only complaint is that the reason for their separation seemed a bit silly: I mean, they were husbands, not only out of convenience since they clearly consummated the marriage, so why on heart didn't they have each other's contacts (phone, email...)?
Anyway, it was good and I'm going to read the other books of this series too.

Thank you for letting this be the very first free ARC I've ever received!
Normally, with books under 100 pages, I find it's hard to relate to the characters and actually feel involved in their life. I had no problem with this book. You can tell the author put an enormous amount of research, time, and planning into this to make it as accurate as possible, and I truly appreciate that. It made me feel like I was actually a scientist on their journey. I loved how fluffy this book was while also having a sense of danger attached to it. Multiple moments in this book had me screeching with excitement because it was so adorable. I had such a fun time reading this book, and will definitely be reading more of this author's work in the future!! Thank you again!

Overall, I enjoyed the story. It is a quick yet enjoyable and easy read and a solid story. I think fans of the first two books in the series will like this one! It was very similar, but that was also one of my main issues with it. It felt somewhat identical to Researching the Pole and Romancing the Ice. All three books feature a similar dynamic between a more reserved nerd and an adventurous adrenaline junky. It feels repetitive at this point, so I would like to see a different type of relationship dynamic.
My other critique is that Reed was difficult for me to connect to; he never felt like a real person to me. His personality and dialogue often felt exaggerated and unrealistic. This left me missing some of the impact the story was supposed to bring.
I enjoyed Daniel's character - being a nerd myself, I related to him and enjoyed seeing his growth throughout the story. And overall, this was a cute, easy read!

I have really fallen in love with this short series of books set at a research station in Antarctica. Each book features a couple either stationed there, or someone “passing through”, realizing their forever person is at the station and feelings are shared and connections forged, sometimes after dangerous adventures, sometimes as a realization of finding the person there that one character had thought was lost forever. In this case, Daniel, the doctor at the station, is confronted by Reed, a helicopter pilot sent in answer to an SOS for a rescue in book 2, and the man Daniel had married, then lost, four years ago. The fire between them is still there, but is Reed looking for an annulment or a rekindling of their relationship? Daniel won’t know until he asks the questions, unsure what Reed will say.
Each story also revolves around one of the animals found on and around the continent. In the first book, our characters are studying leopard seals, the second book focuses on Adélie penguins, and we have one Adélie penguin and some Emperor penguins caught in a unique situation in this one. Since the setting is a research station, it’s fun to get a bit of an animal education along with romance in the book, along with an adventure for Daniel and Reed to bring them even closer together.
Each couple consists of interesting characters with unique skills utilized on the station, and in each situation, the romantic couple were known to each other before arriving at the station, giving us three second chance romances so far, with another one in the works. Coming next will be Garrett, the station carpenter and Nate, captain of a research ship stationed at the continent. It sounds like this one may have some serious animosity going on—should be interesting to find out what happened in the past to lead to a challenge offered.
If you like short mm romances in a unique setting, previous couples interacting in the background, great world-building for the area where the station is located, and adventures involved in each couple getting together, this in a short, entertaining series I think you may enjoy. Of all of Wade Hart’s Antarctica shorts, ‘Reclaiming His Heart’ is probably one of the more compelling and entertaining ones that I’ve gone through.
Both Daniel and Reed have an intriguing backstory that started in a war zone. I have loved this author's entire series so far and this one is not different. At the end of "Romancing the Ice", we discover that Daniel is married. Daniel's husband is a gorgeous Australian named Reed who is a pilot and they met during their time in the military. When they were in the military they got married however when they got out of the military Daniel disappeared. For a few years Reed looked for Daniel until finding one day at the research facility he was at. What I love about this book is the fact that you could feel the love they had for one another coming off the page they may have been separated over a period of time but you cannot tell. Reclaiming His Heart is a must read and if you haven't discovered Wade Hart yet you need to. If I could I would give this 10 stars I cannot wait to read the next in the series.

Daniel and Reed were both wanting what, for different reasons, seemed out of reach. Daniel thought that he had over-reached and though he loved his husband he didn't think Reed was all in. So Daniel left to work in a remote location and didn't expect to see Reed again other than with a request to end their marriage. Reed has been looking for his hard to locate spouse everywhere and has finally tracked him down. Literally he travelled to the ends of the earth. These two are so cute together and even as they work to get on the same page, their love, admiration and desire for one another was there. They also stay very much themselves as they come together. They don't need to change, just admit how they feel and stay together. The ending was so sweet!

Short ,sweet, well written story on second chances. Daniel is a doctor at an Antarctic research lab along with characters from previous books. Reed is Daniel's husband who he hasn't seen in 4 years. Reed is the pilot who came to the research lab to help in a rescue mission in book 3. They were in the Army together, got married then separated. Daniel is shocked, seeing Reed after all these years & thinks Reed is there to leave him. Reed has other plans & is not letting him go. If you haven't read the other books in this series I highly recommend not only to meet the other characters but it is an enjoyable, light hearted romance series. Its been four years since Daniel last saw his husband, and now he's standing in his clinic in a remote Antarctic research station. Reed has been searching for Daniel everywhere he goes and now is determined to never let go again. Their marriage was a last minute event to ensure that Reed could be evacuated with the rest of the team when the military operation they were part of collapsed. It's up to Reed to convince Daniel that he really wants him, not his freedom from their rushed decision. Luckily the remote station doesn't leave either man anywhere to run so they are forced to deal with what they mean to each other and communicate their feelings. A very enjoyable rom-com.

Some sweet and fun miscommunication, two guys figuring out how they feel and some lovely feels, as well as delicious spice. Wonderful story.

In a world where writers are writing romance books over 600 pages, it was a DELIGHT to read something so short and sweet. This novella really got right to the plot, and I appreciated that. I enjoyed the relationship between the two MMC and would happily read an entire other novella showing their time in the special forces.
I admittedly haven't read the two previous installments of the Polar Love stories, but I'm eager to check them out.
This was short, sweet, and sexy, and I've got to give Hart credit for fitting it so neatly into 100 pages.

I read this as a stand-alone, not as part of the series. Daniel and Reed got married so the evacuation team rescuing Americans would include Aussie Reed and Daniel's spouse. When Daniel couldn't find Reed when returned to the US, he assumed Reed didn't actually want to be married to him and left to work at an Antarctic station. The story begins four years later. It's a fun, chaotic story about them becoming reacquainted and rescuing penguins.

Cute. I’ve really liked all the books I’ve read in this series, because they’re just cute, the setting is original, and the isolation makes them realize that maybe being together isn’t as bad as they thought, and it can actually be a pretty good thing. And penguins… penguins make everything better. Really cute, fast read, with snippets from the past that help make sense of the situation, and build a strong foundation for the future they choose together. Very cute.

Reclaiming His Heart book 3 in the Polar Love Stories series by Wade Hart is short and sweet. When Daniel the good Doctor of the science research facilities tall, Aussie, pilot of a husband Reed shows up after 4 + years things are a little tense....and confusing. Soon their chemistry heats up. They bring out the others deepest wants and longings and it is very satisfying to read about. Plus they get to perform a daring rescue mission. It is my favorite of the series so far. Give it a read.

I loved it! These books are so great!! You do not have to read them in order but characters from other books are included.
These books mix science and romance. Which i believe is great, because nerds are hot.

Definitely an interesting way to start a book. I really wish this would’ve been a full-length novel because I feel like it had so much potential for more depth and detail, especially when it came to the characters’ backgrounds. It definitely wasn’t a bad story by any means it just felt like it needed a little more. That being said, I still really enjoyed it. I loved all the little penguin details, and the story wrapped up really nicely in the end. It’s a cute reconnecting love story with just the right amount of humor mixed in, and overall I’d give it about 4.5 stars.

I absolutely loved reading Reed and Daniel’s story! I’m amazed by how much storyline Wade Hart was able to pack into less than 100 pages - so much plot depth and character background. I will give thus book a 4/5. It is a short story but it is long enough to make sense and be a goid read. Daniel is working in Antarctica to get away from being hurt. Imagine his surprise when his high and shows up unannounced at his job. It has been four tears since him and Reed have seen each other. Imagine the shock. So the two men have a lit to discuss and then they go on an adventure. I am going g to read mire in this series.

This was such a quick sweet read, full of humour.
A good mix between hot spice, fun chemistry and situations it's impossible not to laugh at. I really loved the friendship between characters, the romantic relationships and that they have become a sweet family on the Artic research station. Daniel and Reed's chemistry is really wowza, and I'm glad they got to talk and figure things out. Perfect short story about love❤️

Meh. I wouldn't recommend reading this as a standalone. I felt like I was dropped in the middle of a story, and since it's already very short (less than 100 pages), it just didn't work for me. Also, it really didn't make sense to me that it took four years to reconnect.
If you want a short story / novella that manages to tell a complete story in a short format, pick something by Jax Calder (Moderating love, The anonymous hookup).

I love this series; I have read all the books so far. This one is about the doctor and his husband reuniting. They have been separated for 4 years, both missing each other. You don’t have to read the other books in the series, but it does add to the experience if you do.

Reclaiming His Heart is the third book in the Polar Love series, it can be read as a standalone. This is a marriage of convenience, opposites attract, low angst read about Daniel and Reed. I have really enjoyed this series and this one did not disappoint, if I had any complaints I wish it was a little longer.

I feel bad for posting a 2 star review. The characters and the premise were all there, I could see what the author was trying to accomplish.
But the writing was really tepid in a lot of the scenes, the romantic parts felt rushed, etc. Perhaps since it is a short book/novella, some of the backstory and character shadings were missing, but I was underwhelmed, sorry to say.
