They walk among us. All three, living normal mortal lives. Cloe is graduating college; Lacey is getting married; Atria is bar-hopping and breaking hearts. Today, they are human. But they are also the three Fates—the all-powerful directors of human destiny. And they don't even know it.
Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos did not always take mortal form. They dwelt in the Cave, working the Loom, till something happened on Olympus that changed everything one day. Since then, they've roamed the earth and led thousands of lives throughout its history. The Fates may not remember who they are, for now... but their legacy is not to be forgotten. And their story is just begging to be told.
This is a fantastic book. I first got into The Fates series because I myself am the oldest of three sisters (which makes me Atria, WOOHOO!) and because I absolutely adore mythology. It is a fabulous action/adventure, romance, and time-traveling (in that it moves between different time periods, not in the sci-fi sense of the term xD) story, and the second book--which I'm still reading--is equally entrancing. It is also written in the style of a TV show, with each chapter as a "scene", giving it a fresh and interesting format.
Really, if you're looking for a great fantasy/romance/mythology read, READ THIS BOOK. And maybe someday, if fate is with us Fateful fans, this wonderful series will be made into a TV show. Which would be AMAZING. <3
But yeah. I just love this book to death, and want to make sure that everyone who likes fantasy stories gets the chance to enjoy it like I did.
I read this book on Wattpad. This was the first time I read a ongoing book because it was irresistible. The three sister fates wove their magic around me and I became one of the fatefuls. The part two of the book was left incomplete at that time. After 6 years I suddenly felt like revisiting this book again but it is not available there now. Any chance someone could lead me to an e-book or print for me to keep?
An amazingly written story about how three sisters hold the strings of our fates in their hands, and their own journeys in alternate worlds! A must, must, MUST read.
