The Hunted Omegas #6

Fated to the Wolf Maiden: The Hunted Omegas, Book 6

Rate this book
Getting mated to the enemy? Not an effing option.

Elodie

I don't have time for this. I'm a warrior maiden, oath-sworn to the Enclave to live and die by my sword in the protection of the omegas. Not only is he the enemy, giving into the pull between us would ruin my career. Because the maiden part of warrior maiden? It's not optional.

A fated mate bond would mean that I can't fulfill my life's purpose, and there's no way I'm letting that happen. So what's a girl to do?

Deny everything, and have no regrets.

I'm going to reject the bond, because I've got no other choice.

For fans wolf shifters; enemies-to-lovers; fated mates (but definitely not insta-love); he falls first; overprotective MMC; cinnamon roll hero; he'll burn the world for you; found family.

This book contains an HEA for our main couple, and this is the final book in the Hunted Omegas series. But don't worry, I've still got some surprises up my sleeve for you.

This had way too much going on. You really don't need three separate villainous entities to fight against. One really good one is plenty. Two if you're feeling some kind of way. Three? At that point, the drama becomes exhausting to read.

Hmmm. For being the last book in a 6 book series it was a bit underwhelming… I liked seeing all characters again and Elodie and Valens were great, it just felt like it was dragged out for a long time. I was anticipating a huuuge fight but it ended up lasting for like less than 10% or something. It felt rushed somehow. I was also bummed about Leigh, like when will I get to meet Poppy? Possibly in a little side novella? Irked me a bit tbh

I am however, curious about Valens sister and the spinoff book for her (I’m guessing at least). But yeah, this was much of the same as the other books and Ethen it just stopped 😕

⋆˙⟡Pre-read⋆˙⟡: GUYS, GUYS, MY SHOWS ON - I've missed this series sm it's not even funny

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this one sm, and you will be hearing about it

✧˖°.Post-read✧˖°.: Stawppp, I'm not ready for this to end. What an end to a series, and what a beautiful couple. This book made me fall back into this universe quickly, and I soon found myself engrossed in love, heartbreak, and new beginnings. My only complaint? I. Want. More.

Elodie was a strong poweful young woman who wasn't ready for the next chapter of her life. I mean, are we ever? She had her whole life planned out; she had her routine. Now here came a big, strong man to mess it all up, named Valens. But he wasn't just a big, strong man; he was someone who had suffered great loss. Someone who wanted a connection. But was she brave enough, strong enough, to leave the life she knew? And with war on the horizon, would she come out broken or something much worse? Or much better?

⋆˙⟡Favorite Quote⋆˙⟡: "Friendship was important to me, and I wanted nothing more than to marry my best friend, the love of my life." - HE'S JUST SO SWEET.

✧˖°.Final Thoughts✧˖°.: These 6 couples made me fall back in love with fantasy after a long, burnt out break, and the writing was absolutely amazing. And it's hard to close the book. But I rest easy knowing I will be rereading it. And anything else this amazing author comes out with. 💋💋

I was worried about the 6th book in the series losing steam, but it was done so well. Elodie and Valens had the yearning and without giving spoilers their relationship was pivotal to a plot that had some twists even to the last page. Reading this made me want to reread the series because the memories of the other couples were so good. April Moon is definitely one of go to authors after this one.

Wow. Amazingly well concluded! A bit long but totally makes sense with how much action and battle was involved. I loved the found family and the she doesn’t need saving vibe yet she still trusts and relies on Valens so much. They’re a great team.

Freaking love Elodie. She’s the FMC we all need to read about.

same plot different couple

This one’s a hard one to rate.

I’ve realized that I don’t care for series that have the same continuing plot for 6 books.
Yes each book features a different couple but they are not standalone as the plot keeps going. I’m not a fan. The plot felt dragged out and somewhat redundant. The book was ok.

Still enjoyable if a bit anticlimactic - would’ve loved to see Brielle/one of the three original FMCs to be more involved in winning the final battle. Did love Elodie as a character though. A fun, easy series

⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD ⚠️

This is the final book in the series, and honestly… it wasn’t my favorite.

FMC: Elodie is very different in this book compared to earlier ones. She used to be more fun, spunky, and light—but here, she’s much more serious.

Her main struggle is the mate bond. If she accepts Valens as her mate, she has to give up being a maiden—which has been her entire identity. That internal conflict drives a huge portion of the book… and after a while, it starts to feel repetitive.

There’s a lot of:

* I want him → pushing him away
* Maybe I’ll accept him → pulling back again
* I’ll just act like nothing’s changing and stay close to him → then pulling away again

That push-pull dynamic goes on for a long time.

MMC: Valens was honestly the highlight for me.

He’s:

* Loyal
* Selfless
* Patient
* Genuinely a good guy

He doesn’t want to force the bond—he wants Elodie to choose him. And you really feel how much he cares about her.

At one point, after her heat (prior to bonding), he believes she’s rejecting him and leaves her to give her space. He gets painted as the bad guy for that, but honestly, I understood his reaction. There was a lot of miscommunication between them, and after everything she had said and done leading up to that moment, his response made sense.

Plot & pacing:

This was my biggest struggle.

The book takes about 200 pages to really pick up, and until then, it feels slow and very centered on Elodie’s internal conflict.

Once it does pick up, there are two major wars:

* The war against the ODL (controlled by the Pixie King)
* A second battle involving Narcissa and Bran

Those parts were more engaging, but it felt like everything happened very quickly after such a slow buildup.

The Guardian storyline:

This felt like a bit of a side plot that wasn’t fully explained.

Valens discovers he comes from a guardian bloodline—protectors meant to serve and defend omegas. When he takes one of the swords, he’s marked and becomes stronger, faster, and more powerful.

Later, Elodie also becomes a guardian when she picks up the second sword during a moment of danger.

While the idea is interesting, it felt lacking a bit…..

* Why guardians were needed when maidens already existed
* What made guardians distinctly different or necessary

It ended up feeling more like an added element for the omegas and should have focused the role to be more in the help in time of pack or species rare need … ie help in the wars and saving Valens.

What I didn’t love:

* Slow pacing for the first half of the book
* Repetitive push-pull dynamic
* Elodie’s personality shift from previous books
* The Guardian storyline feeling underdeveloped
* Feeling slightly disconnected from the characters (especially if you haven’t recently read book 5)

I do think part of my experience was timing—I hadn’t read the previous book in a while, and it felt like this one just picked up without fully re-grounding the reader in the characters.

What I did like:

* Valens’ character (he deserved better for most of the book)
* The action once the wars started
* The resolution and HEA
* Bonus chapter details (including their future)
* Savvy and dragons?! Very interesting.

Overall thoughts:

This is a mate-bond, fantasy romance with heavy internal conflict, but the pacing and repetition made it hard for me to stay fully engaged in the beginning, but once the pace started picking up, I was able to flip through the book pretty fast.

I think if I had reread book 5 right before this, I might have connected more—but overall, this one just didn’t hit the same way as the others in the series.

⸻

Quick Breakdown:
✨ Romance: 3/5
🌶️ Spice: 1.5/5
🖤 Tropes: Fated mates • Internal conflict • War/battle • Found family

Love Elodie but ending felt rushed

Elodie is by far my favorite character. She is a bad ass but this book almost made me like her less. I felt like I needed more of her back story. We know nothing about her parents or how they died. Knew she was mistreated by her adopted family but what does that mean? Locked in a cabinet under the stairs? Forced to sleep in an attic and cook and clean for everyone?? And what was up with the personal letter we heard nothing about? Was it from her parents? I just needed more.

Now let’s talk about Narcissa. We got hints all series about her. Then find out she’s alive at the end of book 5. At about 90% into this book I was getting upset cause it didn’t seem like we were going to get closure on that plot point. Then all of a sudden, conveniently after battle 1 ends battle 2 starts. It felt like the author said crap we didn’t tie Narcissa back in. How it panned out I’m not angry with but definitely felt more like an afterthought. I almost gave it 3 stars but I found the resolution I needed.

Happy to hear we’re getting a novella about Shay and Dirge’s time in the fae realm I just feel it’s coming a little too late. We should have gotten that right after she came back cause that random plot point pissed me off for the last 2 books.

Fated to the Wolf Maiden is a good, satisfying final instalment, the one where the long‑running, underlying storyline finally seals up and the world feels right again. It delivers that full‑circle feeling while still keeping the emotional heart of the series front and centre.

All the characters you’ve grown attached to - Kane, Brielle, Dirge, Shay, Gael, Leigh, Reed, Fiona, Lucian, and Olivia are present throughout, which gives the book that warm, interconnected pack‑family feeling the series does so well.

Elodie and Valens are fantastic additions.
Elodie is a kick‑ass warrior, sworn to protect omegas and omega‑marked she‑wolves. She’s strong, loyal, intelligent, and genuinely fun, the kind of heroine who lights up every scene she’s in.
Valens, on the other hand, comes from a rough past: a terrible alpha, the loss of his parents and grandparents, and the responsibility of caring for his younger sister. Despite all that, he’s a gentleman through and through - - loyal, capable, and quietly steady.

Their dynamic fits beautifully into the world, adding fresh energy while still tying into the overarching conflict.

And speaking of that conflict, the final threads of the main storyline finally come together. The danger, the politics, the tension… all wrapped up in a way that feels earned. But then that ending happens.

Who ends a book like that if there isn’t another one coming? It would be cruel not to continue it. Seriously though nothing on the authors website… kindle app says completed!! 🤯

This was such a good final book.

I really enjoyed Elodie and Valens story. They were both great characters, and I loved how Valens didn't push her into anything before she was ready. Elodie really struggled with the whole choice vs. fate dilemma, which I found really interesting.
This is the last book in the series, and I highly enjoyed it. It had that 2010s paranormal romance feel to it, which made me really happy, especially since I was a bit worried after book five. It was great, but it did have a few issues.

After six couples, all of them having their own "special" thing and storylines, plus the whole war and power struggles, it was a lot to fit into one book. Maybe a bit too much? I would have liked a few more glimpses of everyone's lives at the end instead of the sister chapter (even though I'm excited to see what that's all about). The author mentioned there will be a novella with them after everything, which makes me hopeful that we'll get to see them all again.

Even though I can't give it five stars, I had such a great time with these characters and this world. I'm kind of sad it's over, but I'll definitely be reading more from this author and keeping an eye out for her next series.

The book was alright. I expected more since it was the last of the series.

Elodie seemed fragile and unstable in the book. Like she only had some clarity after speaking with Galyna. Felt like everything Valens did was kinda for nothing. They also had so much spiralling inner monologue. The author should trust the readers to understand nuances instead of explaining every thought process.

I love all the couples she created. They all have a certain push & pull dynamic. Its great!
But the Elodie and Valens seem to have very little chemistry. Which I thought would improve when they both got the swords. I thought they could take out an army!!! I thought they were gonna be a supercharged coordianted swords welding warriors! but.. alas.. the war...the killing of the villain was kinda anti climtic. Everything ended in a chapter.

Alot of characters felt out of place... why did Olivia become super motherly? Fiona is quick tempered? There was a lack of continuity.. It felt like I was reading different characters.

The pixie king with the mind control was cool to introduce other character species. But it kinda took the thunder away from the omega stone and Narcissa's attack. Because the plot of TWO alpha omega couple fighting for a stone could be epic. Healthy couple VS Toxic couple.

The last book felt mid and messy.

I went into this book with high expectations after loving the previous five in the series. I was completely immersed in the world, the relationships, and especially the group dynamic—it’s what made the series so addictive for me.

Unfortunately, this final book felt underwhelming. I understand that the conflict was meant to be significant, but I felt it just dragged on to the point where it started to overshadow the story itself. Instead of building tension, it made the pacing feel heavy and repetitive. Especially with new characters being introduced, just to die.

By the end, I found myself almost DNFing. I just didn’t feel that pull to see how everything wrapped up.

It honestly made me a little sad to see a series I loved so much end this way. While there were still glimpses of what I once loved, it didn’t quite deliver the emotional payoff I was hoping for as an ending to the series.

Fated to the Wolf Maiden is the 6th and final main book in the Hunted Omegas series. I've enjoyed following the underlying plot that has flowed through all 6 books, but it did feel like there was a lot more plot in this book compared to some of the earlier books. The previous books were heavily focused on the couples' romance arcs rather than heavily moving the needle on the overarching plot. In this final book, there was a lot to wrap up generally so the romance didn't have as much on-page time. If you like a fast paced, action-focused finale then this could be a massive hit.

All of the Hunted Omegas series is available on Kindle Unlimited. If you like paranormal romances with a new couple every book but with an ongoing plot that develops further with every book, give this one a try!

Fated to the Wolf Maiden by April Moon. Book 6 of The Hunted Omega series. Wow! What an ending to the series. So many emotions were had during this book. While I absolutely loved Elodie and Valens story they are now my favorite in the series. This book really wraps up the overall story we have been following for 6 books. The war the end all wars is just perfectly written. The struggle between the main characters is page turning. The spice and heat woo. 🔥 I am very sad to say goodbye to this series and the characters but I am very happy with the outcome and HEA in the story and overall series. If you love fated mates and shifter romance with an amazing back story that takes you all over the supernatural world you will love this series and books.

Like many other reviewers, this was not the satisfying ending that I hoped for. Given the ending of book 5 and the length of book 6, I really thought Narcissa would play more of a part in the storyline. It was disappointing to have her presented as this big bad immortal evil only for her to have a blip of an actual presence in the story. It was almost like there was too much being jammed into one book - the mate bond, the omega stone, the inner turmoil of Elodie, rebuilding the Hungarian pack, the kidnappings, the guardian swords, the mind control collars, the pixie king, the orphaned nephew, the 10 day war, and all this before Narcissa even makes it to the battlefield.

One bright spot is the spinoff featuring Savvy. Although she started out as completely insufferable, I did appreciate her redemption arc and am intrigued to see where the story goes with dragons involved.

⭐ **3.5/5 Stars**

A satisfying finale… but not without some serious frustrations.

After following the Hundred Omega series for so long, I had high expectations for this final book—and while it delivered in many ways, it also left me a little conflicted.

Let’s start with what worked:

Valens.
That’s it. That’s the highlight.

He was patient, kind, brave, and endlessly giving. The way he showed up for Elodie, for his family, for his community—just perfection. No notes. This man loved deeply, quietly, and consistently, and honestly? he deserved so much better.

The story itself was engaging, the pacing (for the most part) kept me hooked, and I really appreciated how the author wrapped up the overarching plot of the entire series. It felt cohesive and gave that sense of closure you want at the end of a long journey.

But now… the issues.

The book was too long.
It definitely needed tighter editing. There were sections that dragged and didn’t add much to the overall story.

And then there’s Elodie.

This was the biggest disappointment for me.

In previous books, she came across as lighthearted, fun, and vibrant—someone you enjoyed every time she appeared on page. But in her own story? She felt like a completely different person.

Yes, she’s been through trauma. Yes, that shapes her. Yes, it explains her fear, her hesitation, her inability to trust.

But it does not justify:

* Constantly pushing Valens away
* Breaking his heart repeatedly
* Making him chase her over and over again

And Chapter 54??
Absolutely brutal.

Every single time she told him she didn’t want him, it hurt—but that moment, when the mate bond finally surfaced and her reaction?

Heartbreaking. Not just for him, but as a reader too.

And yet—even then—Valens:

* Comforts her
* Gives her space
* Walks away quietly because he’s hurt

And what does he get?

Labeled as the jerk and used as a punching bag by her friends who enable her behaviour by validating her feelings but not his.

That part genuinely frustrated me.

Because here’s the thing:
men are allowed to be hurt too.
They’re allowed to step back when they’ve been emotionally wounded. That doesn’t make them weak or wrong—it makes them human.

And Elodie never truly takes accountability for how she treated him. No real apology. No moment that felt like she fully recognized the damage she caused.

That imbalance made the romance feel emotionally unfair at times.

Valens deserved the world. He got Elodie.

As for the rest:

Savvy wasn’t my favorite throughout the series, but she did grow on me a bit towards the end. And that ending?? Very intriguing.

The hint at what’s coming next—with the dragons—has me curious, even if I’m not completely sold yet.

One of the best series I’ve read in a long time!

I absolutely loved all the couples. Every couple had their own issues, traumas and problems to work through, and I really enjoyed seeing how they dealt with them with the help and support of their friends. The loyalty, friendship and bond between them all was one of my favourite parts of the series. And the males? Completely, ridiculously and madly in love with their girls. 😂❤️

What I especially loved was that every single book contributed to the overall main story while still having its own couple and storyline. The way the author gradually connected all the standalone stories into the bigger plot was so well done. It never felt forced or like a side story that didn’t matter. Everything had a purpose.

There wasn’t a single dull moment for me. I kept turning the pages and ended up finishing all six books in ONE WEEK. That should tell you everything! 😂

And there are three things I particularly appreciated about this series:

**First — the series is COMPLETE.** No endless waiting and wondering when the next book is coming. 🙌

**Second — the books are a really good length.** Most of the standalone books are around 250–300 pages, with only the last one being longer. Perfect for when you want a story that moves along without feeling unnecessarily stretched.

**Third — the magic system.** THANK YOU! 😂 There wasn’t endless information dumping about the magic or the magical world. I honestly don’t understand why some authors make the magic ecosystem so complicated that I lose track of what is actually happening. I read to relax and enjoy myself, not to feel like I’m studying for an exam. 😂

And that is probably what I loved most about this series. I’m reading because I want to escape, switch off my brain and simply enjoy the story — and this series delivered exactly that.

The friendships, the loyalty, the romance, the different personalities and problems each couple had, and the way everything eventually came together made this such an enjoyable read.

Honestly, this series is SO underrated. I’m not sure why more people aren’t talking about it because it deserves so much more attention.

I guess what they say is true… **it’s always the underrated ones that end up being the gems.** ❤️

2.5 ⭐️, the book felt like chaos all in one and not chaos because of the characters we know and wanted to see their good ending but because of the plots throwing us around.

Unfortunately, the book felt too long for me to enjoy and it didnt feel like the ending of the series it felt more focused on this couple.

Let me start with the characters, i actually did enjoy them this tim, the MMC was a fluffy character and the protective style which i loved, and the FMC gave me the strong female vibes in the start but unfortunately it died down along the way (in my eyes). As for their relationship i enjoyed it up to 50% of the book (aka till the heat) the miscommunication didnt make sense, and afterwards it felt as if their whole guardian role thing “to protect the omegas” was spent by him being the lead and her being a side supporter (which was a shame to see her character like this). Also for the life of me i couldnt understand two things, one is why wouldnt he text her and tell her he is leaving on a mission?? It felt pointlessss and the second is that they would be in the middle of the war everyone is all over the place and he would be “holding her hand and kissing her knuckles”???????? The ones all in blood???? Sir what

And not the storyline, unfortunately it felt like a mess a not needed one. Simply why did the writer feel the need to have three wars all in one two of which where introduced in this book as “alive” enemies and the last one the important one we have been waiting on ended in a treaty? After they ran away? Thats it???? The book could have had one war less and about 200 pages less.

And lastly as an ending book of a series it felt like a disappointment to me at least, because once the war ended (as is the case in all her books with the series) we didnt get a chance to see the characters develop or get back to normal after or get to see all the old characters and get a pov maybe about their life and how they feel or something to make all the characters part of the ending.

Fate has chosen her mate, but accepting the bond may be far more complicated than falling in love.
Danger, secrets, and an intensely protective wolf threaten to turn a destined romance into something much more dangerous.
If fated mates, possessive shifters, irresistible chemistry, and supernatural chaos are your thing, prepare to fall for this one.

Fated to the Wolf Maiden delivers exactly what I want from a paranormal romance: wolves, fated mates, danger, ridiculous amounts of tension, and characters who apparently have never heard of the concept of taking things slowly. Our heroine finds herself pulled into the world of wolf shifters and an unexpected bond that changes everything. Because naturally, when your life is already complicated, the universe thinks, “You know what would improve this? A fated mate.”

The story follows the growing connection between the heroine and her wolf mate as they navigate attraction, secrets, danger, and the complications that come with a bond neither of them can simply ignore. Their relationship develops with plenty of tension and emotional moments, while the supernatural world around them keeps adding new problems. Because apparently one problem at a time would be far too peaceful.

My 5-star opinion? I absolutely devoured this book. The romance was my favorite part, especially the intensity of the fated-mate connection and the way the characters gradually become completely devoted to each other. The male lead is protective, possessive, and wonderfully obsessed, which, in fiction, is exactly where I would like him to stay.

Was everything perfectly realistic? Absolutely not. Did I care? Also absolutely not. I was here for the wolves, the romance, the drama, and the inevitable “touch her and die” energy. And I got all of it.

Five stars because this was pure paranormal-romance comfort food: addictive, dramatic, entertaining, and completely impossible to take seriously, which is precisely why I loved it.

**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 Stars) — An epic, emotional series finale with a fiery couple and a massive battle!**

What an epic end to this series! It has been a while since I was last in this world, yet I had absolutely no issues being dragged right back into the war and the overarching storyline.

Elodie and Valens were such a fantastic couple. I loved that Elodie was so outspoken and feisty; she had a backbone of fire-forged steel, yet she was still incredibly loyal and kind. Valens was a big, strong alpha who was just as fierce and loyal, but incredibly kind-hearted. He truly thought of his entire pack as his family and just wanted to do right by them. I also really loved that he was a bit of a dreamer—he took everything in at face value, no matter how far-fetched it seemed.

I loved seeing all the previous couples still being close-knit and fighting by each other's sides. The found family and pack mentality was so strong in this series, and it remains one of my absolute favorite parts of these books!

The war section of the book felt like it was never going to end, but that wasn't a bad thing at all! I was highly engrossed through the entire battle, just waiting on the edge of my seat to see what was going to happen. I am not ashamed to admit I cried a couple of times. Having enemies coming at them from three different villains seems like a lot to juggle, but it all worked together seamlessly in April L. Moon's writing style.

I am definitely looking forward to Savvy's book when it gets released! I have to admit, I didn't see dragons coming, but I am definitely here for it!!

I've been waiting for this book since the ending of the fifth one but I don't know why this one just felt... underwhelming. I liked that Elodie was a maiden and knew how to fight and hold herself against anything that was thrown her way but her relationship with Valens was too one sided.
Right till the end of the book she made me feel like Valens was second to her enclave and he did everything to make her see that there could be a better future for both of them together. And almost 80% of the book is about him convincing her to be his mate, not about what was going on around them other than little bits thrown here and there. I get that it was an important decision on her part but her reaction to the mate marks made me want to stop reading the book. I mean at that point of the book that was unnecessary and the drama between them dragged too much for my comfort.
I waited for a little more fighting and more of Narcissa as they'd been building her up from book one but it was only like at the last 10% of the book that we saw her and she was defeated fairly easily to be a good ending for me, like it was rushed, too rushed.
Other than that, I finished the book to finish the series but it left a sour taste given that it was unnecessarily long on the unimportant parts and not long enough when it was just getting good. Like it needed more but wasn't given the chance.
Expect more Elodie and Valens drama than the conclusion of the series because that's what this book is mostly about unfortunately.

2.5 🌶️

The 6th and final book in The Hunted Omega series. I’ve gotta say as a whole I really enjoyed this series. I liked that we got to see more creatures in this book without it feeling like we were getting an information overload. I loved Valens, he may be my favourite MMC. I was eager for this book as I was falling in love with Elodies character, however for a large part of this book I didn’t really vibe with her, I found a few books in this series I liked the main character in other books rather than their own. The mate mark scene really annoyed me because I’m not sure how Valens was meant to take that any other way and then hot head Fiona came in blaming him when it really was Elodies doing. I had the same issue with Leigh lying/misleading her friends to attack and hate Gael when she was being the problem. Savvy also acted real childish only to turn out to be almost 30, I would assume wolves especially in those circumstances would mature and grow up a bit faster than others, I can excuse the destructive behaviour but she was unnecessarily nasty to Elodie and neither Elodie or even Valens (only negative point) seemed to pull her up on it. Those were really my only complaints but probably still needed for plot and story growth. Otherwise absolutely loved this. The big battle didn’t feel too long or too short, people died and it was an “easy” win. I would’ve liked to get more info on Shay so fingers crossed for a Fae world novella

Looking forward to meeting the dragons

OK! Every single book has been building up to this moment, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the final battle.

I am an absolute sucker for a badass FMC, and Elodie delivers in every way. She can absolutely hold her own and take down anyone who crosses her—but beyond that, she’s fiercely loyal and an incredible friend. That loyalty makes everything even harder when feelings start getting involved.
Because of course… she falls for the one person she shouldn’t.

Her vows as a Maiden mean that if she were ever to accept a mate, she’d have to reject the bond to uphold her duty. So we get all the delicious tension of forbidden love, duty vs. desire—and I eat that up every single time.

But Elodie isn’t just bound by rules—she’s a warrior. And watching her start to question whether she really has to choose, whether she could have both, was something I was practically screaming for her to realize.

As for the overarching plot, this is where everything finally comes to a head. The battle we’ve been waiting for is here… and while I won’t spoil it, I will say this: it felt just a little bit underwhelming compared to all the buildup. The hype for that final showdown had me expecting something bigger.
That being said, the overall conclusion still left me feeling satisfied. The journey, the characters, and the emotional payoff carried it through.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal romance with a long, interconnected storyline and characters you grow with over multiple books.

Unfortunately this was probably the worst book of the series. I just couldn’t get into the romance. It never really felt like there were stakes between them. Sure Elodie went back and forth on if she wanted to move forward with the relationship or stay a maiden but it always felt inevitable that they would end up together. Even though she went back and forth initially, whenever she talked about Valens it seemed over the top lovey dovey. Then same with Valens to her. It almost felt like both characters were too honorable and respectful that neither really stepped up to the plate to progress their relationship forward. The big step that moved them forward was her heat coming. While that was a more exciting plot of the book, if the heat would not have happened then I think they still wouldn’t be together at this point, both trying to be too respectful to make a move. I also thought the ending of the overarching story for a little messy in the end with narcissa coming back. I feel like they should have just left it at the pixie king and other species trying to take out the wolves. To be honest even the plot with the pixie king being the evil head felt like a last minute addition. There was never any talks or hint of this being the case. It also felt kind of weird to add in the plot of telling geal and Leigh to leave then them immediately not following that order. Idk just seemed like a rushed ending to what was great build up.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Fated to the Wolf Maiden was another enjoyable addition to The Hunted Omegas series, delivering the familiar mix of fated bonds, shifter romance, emotional challenges, and supernatural intrigue that fans of the series love. April L. Moon continues to create a world filled with strong connections, loyalty, and characters searching for where they truly belong.
I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters and the way their bond developed throughout the story. Their connection was filled with chemistry, emotional moments, and the challenges that come with accepting a fated mate. Watching them overcome obstacles and learn to trust each other added depth to their romance.
The shifter world and pack dynamics remain a highlight of the series, with themes of family, protection, destiny, and finding strength in yourself. I appreciated the emotional growth of the characters and how the story explored both vulnerability and resilience.
While some elements followed familiar paranormal romance tropes, the engaging characters and heartfelt moments kept me invested. The pacing was enjoyable, and the story provided another satisfying journey within the series.
Overall, Fated to the Wolf Maiden is a captivating paranormal romance filled with fated mates, powerful bonds, protective wolves, and emotional connections. A great read for fans of shifter romances who enjoy strong relationships, supernatural drama, and happily-ever-after stories.

The finale to the Hunted Omega series did not disappoint! This was the most action packed of the series but still gave you the satisfaction of knowing our final couple and their romance. This book delivers on everything you've learned thus far and still introduces you to new lore. We also meet Valens, an alpha with nothing but patience when it comes to wooing his mate. Elodie is a Maiden with no intention of changing her status. However, can she learn that she can change without losing her identity? This match might be my favorite. Their chemistry and how they balance each other is perfection. I will miss this found family.

Great series

🐺 Fated to the Moon Maiden — April L. Moon
What a way to bring all of the stories together! ❤️
One of my favourite things about this series continues to be the loyalty, friendship and sense of pack family running through it. After following these characters across the previous books, I loved seeing how their individual stories and relationships all connected as they faced the trials and difficulties ahead of them together.
Looking back across the series so far, I really appreciate how each book adds another piece to the bigger story. The focus may shift between characters, but everything remains connected, with individual journeys weaving into the wider storyline. This is definitely a series best enjoyed from the very beginning, and I've loved watching this wonderfully chaotic pack grow along the way.
There was plenty happening to keep me hooked, but at its heart, this one really reinforced what I've loved throughout the series — loyalty, friendship and a pack that will fight fiercely for their own. ❤️🐺
And THAT ending... 👀🐉 Well, I think it's safe to say there's more chaos to come, and I'm definitely not ready to leave this world yet!
