Here is the first book in the ‘Filthy’ Series, a seriously hot and provocative romance by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion and emotion. Gabriel remembered how good she’d felt in his arms when they’d been lovers. The feel of her wildly beating pulse, her scent, her warmth. He’d left his mark on her slender throat more than once. Though he smiled and made small talk, his attention remained with the woman he’d never expected to see again. Angie is now a cop, and the bad boy is back to change her life forever. Only mature readers should download this book.
Since releasing her first romance book in 2012, Lucia Jordan has done more than just write stories. She has helped define a genre. As a pioneer of the digital romance revolution, Lucia has penned hundreds of sizzling titles, delighted millions of readers, and earned thousands of five-star reviews. Her ability to blend emotional depth with uninhibited passion has made her a household name, with her hit novel Rock Hard earning a coveted nod as the #1 must-read erotic novel by Women's Health magazine.
But Lucia’s passion extends beyond the page. As the creative force and founding author behind Wild Hearts Romance, she is a champion for the indie community, dedicated to lifting up new voices in a genre she calls powerful, valid, and necessary. She writes for the dreamers and the risk-takers to craft stories that leave nothing to the imagination and remind us all that everyone deserves a happily-ever-after.
When she isn’t fantasizing about her next spicy scene or advocating for fellow writers, Lucia can be found in her sanctuary, a cozy garden gazebo in the Pacific Northwest. It is here that she retreats with her literary trio of cats, Ursula, Colette, and Daphne, to let her imagination wander. With a cup of tea in hand, she dreams up the sizzling plotlines and unforgettable adventures that have made her a bestseller.
Not a bad short story, plenty of heat between the two main characters. Some really cliche words and sentences used, but if you like light erotica with a touch of romance you will like this. Somehow the leading man has violet-blue eyes, do they even exist? Coloured contacts is my call on that one.
It's part of a series that follows the couple who have just met up again after years of not seeing each other. The flames of lust from the past are quickly ignited and no time is wasted in getting reacquainted as such. They are quick to stir up some of the sizzle that they used to share. It could have been a bit hotter, certainly in the category of light erotica and not a bad boy in sight.
I don't normally read much erotica but grabbed this iBook freebie as I just wanted a light, fun read. If this is your thing go for it. I've read a lot worse. 3 paw prints from the BookloverCatlady.
I am immediately concerned when I opened Wicked Book One for the first time. I downloaded this for free on the Kindle Store and came across it in my Kindle library, and decided to open it.
This is an erotica story... that starts at a... funeral? That seems a little bit... off to me. A little weirded out, I read on...
Only to find out this was as bad as I expected.
They're at a funeral, Gabe's father's, and... his voice made her wet. In the middle of a funeral.
But it gets better!
His gaze fell from her face to the sweet swell of her tits...
Lust gripped his balls.
Are you KIDDING ME?!
I get erotica now a days is fighting for originality but... at a funeral. Or a wake. Wherever it is... this just makes me cringe really badly.
This wasn't really well written. The sex scene was rather confusing and didn't have any sense of direction. It's basically porn without plot and, well, when the author writes a plot at the start, I expect to be able to know where they're laying on the boat during sex.
Poorly written, bad setting, overused and cringing uses of sentences, definitely miss this. I don't ever wanna come across this again.
Only got this as it was free from Amazon. Not really believable that Gabe'd go from a family funeral and be that horny hours later. However, it was nice to get a leading man who puts his other half's pleasure before his. May read other bits by this author ( if free)
Angie & Gabe have both had their share of heartache & pain. They have both lost a parent & a spouse. After reconnecting at a funeral, they noticed that the sparks from their teenage years are still alive. But will it be enough to make this a permanent situation?
If I was to rate with stars; it would be 1 but I find that might be a bit unfair since I didn't read the entire thing. The basics that I got are girl comes back for funeral, sees a past lover after it's been 10 years and well, you can guess what happens next. Maybe it's my mood, but I prefer some character building/ bonding before getting kinky, not rushed into it without any feeling of attraction or chemistry.
