Fun history of the mothman and other high strangeness in the Ohio Valley region of WV. Set up in discrete chapters, arranged vaguely chronologically and topically, it performs a function as an assay of the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant and as a vehicle for the authors own artwork, presented in monochrome black up to multiple colored illustrations. They contribute much to the fun and entertaining vibe of the book. By no means exhaustive, it does provide a very nice introduction to the phenomenon.
