How can something so wrong… All Quinn Dorsey wants is a white picket fence fairy tale. But after another failed relationship and her biological clock ticking double time, she’s desperate enough to try online dating. Following a series of worst dates ever, she decides happily-ever-after isn't in the Tarot cards. Forget Cupid, it's time to take matters into her own hands. A simple seduction should do the trick, but then everything that can go wrong...does! …Turn out to be so right Dak Savage isn't interested in commitment. He's been burned by women before - lied to, used, even shot. Hell, he considers women a curse and has one rule he never breaks - don't pick up women in bars. But when he agrees to a guys' night out and meets up with the feisty, fast talking Quinn, his rule shatters like a dropped shot glass.
A one night stand turns into a long weekend and as Quinn tries to abandon her ridiculous scheme, she finds herself nose-to-nose and toe-to-toe with the best mistake she's ever made.
Two Wrongs Make a Right is about how one night stand can go wrong.
Quinn “Miss Moving On” recently broke up with her long-term boyfriend and is desperate for a new man in her life. If someone doesn’t take her off the marriage market soon, she’ll be a 40-er and the age doesn’t sound pretty. Therefore, she comes up with a scheme and it involves a man she hopes to never see again.
Fate, however, has other plans. After accidently picking up the wrong guy at the bar, she learns that he may be the right guy all along.
Quinn is just too nice for her own good and she has a kind heart. She is witty and loyal too, but after her deceit, she punishes herself throughout the second half of the story and becomes a submissive spouse who Dak steps all over.
Like Quinn, Dak changes too. He is a different person from the first half and his anger turns him into an ugly person.
I like Raynie and how she makes up names for Dak like Dak-a-doodle-do and Dakanator. And she’s a fortune teller so there’s that too. Megan didn’t make an impression on me nor did the other characters.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the book. Honestly, one-third into this book, I still had no clue what I was reading. I reread the blurb twice to make sure I was reading the correct book. Then after a while, the MC’s failed (and amusing) dates started to make sense to me and so I dealt with the slow pace until the story truly began— cue Dak’s and Quinn’s first meeting and the weekend they spent together. Sweet and hot!

Btw, the scene where Sandra Bullock and Betty White are dancing in the woods in The Proposal is downright hilarious and priceless. Love that scene!
This was a lovely sweet romantic story. I found it to be an enjoyable refreshing read.
Time is passing Quinn by. She wants a family but knows that her biological clock is ticking. When her plans go all wrong she ends up with Dak. Both find themselves living a web of lies.
This is a lovely romantic story with heartfelt characters. I loved how the characters were portrayed as real. Looking forward to reading more of this authors books.

Review on Author: Ann Everett did a really good job on this book. It had good fluidity and loveable characters. The story had meaning and I really enjoyed that.
Review on Story: Have you ever felt like time was just running out on your life and to make your goals a reality you just had to settle for what you had? This stand-alone contemporary romance feels like it drags a little in the first half of the book but as it comes together you’ll be glad you waited. It won’t disappoint. Very detailed and it’s not a wham-bam feel. It’s like fine wine; it only gets better and better as the pages turn.
This book is heart-felt. It’s very realistic and romantic. I can’t find the right words to express how it made me feel. When I began that book I wanted to rush it and get to the good stuff, when the two characters meet but it wasn’t that way and in the end I’m glad it didn’t. I really made me appreciate the characters that much more because I understood where they both came from. I really enjoyed it and I wish there was more. Not that it needed it. I just liked the story so much and I wanted it to continue.
Synopsis: Two Wrongs Make A Right is a book about a woman, Quinn Dorsey who has been through too many failed relationships and this last one was suppose to be it. Her biological clock is ticking and she’s run out of time. Now she feels like she can’t have a family the old fashion way and needs to take matters into her own hands. She’s tried everything and is ready to just settle. On the night she puts her plan into motion she meets Dak Savage unexpectedly. He’s good-looking and sweet but has been hurt too many times and doesn’t trust women. He feels they are liars, manipulators and they only use him. He has a type; the young, blond, perky, “right-now” type. He doesn’t want commitment. But just maybe he hasn’t met the right woman that can change all of that for him.
Just when Quinn thinks she can’t have her fairy-tale future, one weekend changes everything. But she’s already committed to her plan and there is no going back. The lies and deceit might just steal away the future she’s always dreamed of and that future has a name, Dak Savage.
Quinn Dorsey's baby clock is ticking. She is thirty five and can't seem to meet Mr. Right Her friends convince her to try a dating site, after her boyfriend of three years, Brad, dumps her. Later she finds out he is dating his secretary who is much younger and blonde. After three bad dates she decides she doesn't need a husband she just needs a sperm donor. She talks her friend, Megan into checking into the personnel at her company. Megan is in Human Resources so she has access to files. She picks a couple and then Quinn decides on the one she wants to meet. She picks Jason a divorced man with one child. She gets her friends to help set it up and she goes to the bar where one of his favorite country bands is performing. She joins a group of younger women celebrating a birthday and keeps her eye on the door to watch for Jason. When he comes in he joins his two friends at the bar. Quinn already asked the bartender to give the man a drink on her when she signals him. She signals him and he gives the drink to the wrong man. He gives it to his friend, Dak Savage. Quinn is horrified and tries to leave the bar in a hurry. His friends convince Dak he should go after her just to thanks her for the drink. When he doesn't respond she knows she isn't his type. He runs after her and they talk for a few minutes. He grabs her and gives her a kiss. She is breathless. He convinces her to stay for a while and they wind up spending the night together. She has this all planned out and even put pin holes in a couple of condoms, then she feels guilty and decides just to sleep with Dak. Dak doesn't have a condom and she says she does, so when she goes to get a good one, he does it and spills the box so she doesn't know which ones are which. This story does contain some sex scenes, but it is a great story of love and romance. Somethimes two wrongs can make a right, or can they? Read this one to find out
Two Wrongs Make a Right by Ann Everett was so SO good! The first half of the book, I was laughing out loud at all the awkward dating scenes and in the last half of the book, I read with an aching heart and misty eyes. Ann Everett has you on this ride of emotion and you can’t help but feel all the feels during this novel. Quinn was a very relatable character. She is a woman in her thirties and after her boyfriend of three years broke up with her, she knew her biological clock ticking. So, she and her two friends created a profile on a dating website, and you get to experience the interesting first dates with Quinn and you can’t help but laugh. Quinn is one of those characters that you just want to hug because through her flaws, she is a very sweet person and she feels like a REAL person. She is someone that could be your best friend, or even you. Dak was just downright sexy and charming and everything you want in man. He’s in his late thirties and doesn’t want a commitment, but an encounter with Quinn leaves him wanting more. He knows how to treat women, but after being burned by so many, he keeps them at a distance. You know that deep down he has so many great qualities just wanting to surface. The last half of the book, I kind of wanted to slap him because I wanted him to just STOP being a little... jerk. The lack of communication between the two was frustrating beyond belief but it built up to a great ending and the whole time you're doing nothing but rooting for them. This was the first novel by Ann Everett that I have read, and I am now HOOKED. I am still reeling from the emotions I felt during it and every twinge of pain my heart felt and every tear that escaped my eyes is something I know other readers will feel. I am already ready for a re-read! This was amazing.
Ordinarily two wrongs definitely do not make a right, but in this case it all worked out great in the end. Quinn Dorsey was on the losing end of love. Sitting in a romantic restaurant with the, supposedly, love of her life expecting to be proposed to she finds herself once again being dumped.
Her two best friends come to her rescue. One Meagan is married to her high school sweetheart and Raynie the love them and leave them without a care in the world. They talk her into signing up for an online dating service to help her find a husband or at the very least a "baby's daddy." Unfortunately or in her case fortunately this doesn't work out for her either. The dates she goes on provides for some laugh out loud entertainment.
Megan devises a sure fire plan for her to score a very handsome sperm donor without his knowledge in the form of one of her co-workers. The plan appears to be fool proof until a mix up with the bartender happens and the wrong man gets the sign.
Dak Savage is a very successful marketing executive, having been lied to too many times to trust he has become the constant dater of blond, busty, too young for him girls. Until he mistakenly is given a sign meant for his best friend.
When Quinn's plan does indeed succeed she is left trying to keep it a secret and that proves to be easier than she had dream since she gave Dak a fake name, fake job title and a fake location of where she lives.
So many things came together to foil her plans to keep it all a secret when Dak discovers it and her web of lies, the action begins.
The circumstances that came between them and those that worked for them are at times maddening and sometimes exciting. The ending left me very please.
Simplicity means the state or quality of being plain, not fancy or complicated. As we bring this one of a kind word into our every lives we understand that simple may be best in most of our lives. A conversation one has between a loved one, a romantic interlude that begins with one glance. Speaking about ones identity to a complete stranger yet at the same time spinning the truth within the truth can be a struggle yet also as simple as breathing air. To become anyone for that moment in time with the simplicity but, also the complexity.
Dak-hot, sexy
Quinn-pretty, cautious
To the author: The relationship that you created between Quinn and Dak is nothing short of astonishing with the simplicity of what goes on in our everyday lives. You didn’t sugarcoat anything between the pages. What you brought out is the wanting of men and women with the written word. Just because simple is best at times it doesn’t mean that the world around us all goes according to some plan. We take each moment in time as we are given it. Sometimes choosing our words is always best but within certain moments our mouths seem to get the best of us. The reality of this read was awesome. The sex between these two was a hot hot goodness.
As my review is not of the normal variety I hope that your readers will sit back and enjoy the journey between Quinn and Dak. Making sure they have the tissues and screaming towel at hand.
I loved this book. This is my second book by the author and i loved both her works. Ann has a way of involving, for a lack of better word, the reader with the story.
Quinn Dorsey wants a happily ever after and Dak savage never comes with in a mile of the word commitment. Fate intervenes and brings them together.
Reading the book I wanted to bash Dak over his head even though i knew Quinn was the reason for Dak's behavior. Ann makes a compelling view of Quinn's emotion that makes Dak sound over reacting. However i felt bad for both their situations.Added to the main characters, Raynie the spunky friend of Quinn is just amazing.
I liked this one. It had promise but for me, it took way too long for it to culminate. Then when it did finally happen, it didn't last because there were lots of problems in paradise.
These problems made for a frustrated me. Yes, the story was interesting but I wanted more happiness and harmony and I didn't want to wait for it.
Don't get me wrong, there is a HEA but it was almost to the end until it happened. Next thing you know the book was over. :-( I really would have liked more togetherness before the ending. I am just greedy that way.
I recommend this to patient people who like romance.
I wouldn't hesitate to read other books from this author as I liked it, I just hoped for the action to happen sooner. Hopefully in her other books it will.
I enjoyed this story so much. Quinn and Dak our protagonists are both well developed sympathetic characters. I loved that this was a story about two mature adults with established lives. I was absolutely routing for the HEA. I laughed out loud so many times reading this and recommended it to a friend who is currently online dating. This is a very tame romantic comedy the sexual content and the language are modest. It was the perfect diversion for a difficult couple of days. Loved it!
The story started off slow, almost too slow, but when it picked up, it took off at a crazy pace. Quinn's biological clock is ticking faster than most women her age. She has a genetic condition that throws her into early menopause, meaning her fertile days are numbered. So when her boyfriend of three years dumps her instead of proposing, Quinn get serious about finding Mr. Right. But when one bad date follows another, she gives up and decides single motherhood is for her. After finding out the cost of sperm banks, she decides to just pick up a stranger in a bar and let nature take it's course.
It takes a good third or more of the book before she meets Dak Savage, and when she does, sparks fly. But Dak isn't the guy she was going to use as a sperm donor, so things go from messy to disastrous, with a mixture of lighthearted moments and intense, angsty drama.
Plot Although I felt it took too long to develop, the plot has some unique aspects. It's part romantic comedy, part angst-filled romance, but it works. The lighter moments help offset the moments when I wanted to a) slap Quinn, or b) smack Dak.
Characters The characters are fun, well-rounded, and include enough growth to make them a little different from many characters in the genre. Quinn bordered on annoying a few too many times, and Dak needed to pull his head out of his ass on pretty much a regular basis. Dak's twin sister, Sim, is awesome and might just be my favorite character in the book. I loved Quinn's BFF Raynie as well. In fact, I would totally ship Sim and Raynie if they swung that way.
Writing Ann Everett has a fun voice that reminds me a little of Janet Evanovitch, but is really all her own. Her attention to scene settings helps bring the story to three-dimensional life.
Top Five Things I enjoyed about Two Wrongs Make a Right: 1. Quinn's apartment. Although a lot of time is spent bashing her run-down apartment, the way she decorates it to make it all her own is pure eclectic delight.
2. Raynie. The tarot-card reading free spirit is the perfect foil to Quinn's usual uptightness.
3. Sim. Dak's smart-mouthed twin sister brings perspective, giving her brother a much-needed kick-in-the-ass.
4. Quinn's grandpa. His obsession with his bowels provides some of the best lines.
5. Online dating. While many of the guys Quinn meets through online dating are caricatures, the world of online dating is filled with a lot of landmines, and Ann Everett portrays it with a critical eye and a healthy dose of hilarity.
Bottom Line Two Wrongs Make a Right is an interesting twist on the contemporary romance, filled with humor and heart.
“His heart kicked up again and he wanted to crush his lips against hers. Hold her so close he could feel her heart beat against his chest. Then she spoke and brought him back to reality.”
4 stars, this story is funny, romantic and super sweet all at the same time! This book didn’t disappoint at all!

I liked this book but I must say it was sad most of the way through. Quinn a woman in her thirties who is worried about missing her chance at happily ever after because of early menopause does something drastic that she will regret more than anything ever before. Dak has never had a steady girlfriend and wasn't look for one. Then one night by mistake he meets Quinn or as he knows her Molly and finds the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with. However Molly(Quinn) leaves after their long weekend together and he can't find her anywhere. Quinn does what she originally set out to do, but no kinda wishes that she hadn't or rather that it hadn't turned out the way it does. Will she be able to tell Dak the truth or will she keep her secret between her and her two best friends never having to explain why she did what she did? Quinn wants nothing more to see Dak again. He is everything she has ever wanted in a man but now faced with the reality of her actions she can't for fear of how he will react. Will they get their chance or will the mistakes of one night take away that chance?
This book had me sucked in almost right away. Quinn felt like she was forced into a corner and took drastic measures. She hadn't even intended for it to be Dak. The bartender gave the wrong guy the drink she paid for. That mistake brings her face to face with the man of her dreams. She tries to get him to change his mind about her but it just makes him more interested in him and then she figures what are the odds. Dak can't believe that he and Molly(Quinn) click so well. Some of things she does would normally bother him but not when she does them. He was totally unprepared for her to just leave. He searches all over for her but she gave him a false name, residence, and job. He is completely taken by surprise when he finds her once again by accident. I can't blame him for being upset about the circumstances however he lets them get in the way. Quinn could have fought harder for communication between them however she was afraid to rock the boat because of her circumstances. There is a HEA but most of the book is sad. I felt so much for both the characters and what they were going through. Overall a great book. Very well written with fantastic characters.
Happy book birthday, Two Wrongs Make a Right!! The book is being released today and I am happy that I got a chance to read it early. It sated my hankering for a good contemporary romance. Thank you, Ma'm for a free copy in exchange for an honest and true review.
The book cover implies a fight or a misunderstanding between the lead characters, Quinn and Dak while the blurb hints at a wrong incident turning into the right one at the end. Both form the base of the book. The title is so right in this case. Quinn and Dak,both, make wrong decisions which turn into a happily ever after ending.
I loved the characters and the plot. Usually the main characters are introduced together or as meeting in the first chapter but this was a bit different. First, Quinn is introduced and we get to know her as a soft and gentle person. Then Dak comes into the scene. He is shown as a playboy in the beginning but later grows into a great guy. They are supported by a good cast of side characters. Megan seems to be a coward while Raynie is colourful and fits the role of a loyal friend perfectly. I loved her tarot card reading antics a lot. Then there is Sim who constantly pokes and prods Dak onto the right path.
The book is a good testament to the line, "Communication is key to a good relationship." If they had only talked, we wouldn't have their story at all! The only thing I didn't like was Quinn's attitude towards Dak's coldness and how long he took to get over himself. Otherwise, I loved the book. It was the right combination of romance and emotions. I was happy and sad in turns while reading the book. The story pulled me right in and I felt I could relate to the characters well. I enjoyed this book and I hope there is a book for others too, especially Raynie. I have 3 words for you, "Go for it!!", if you are procrastinating on reading the book. It won't let you down.
My one line review : Solid romance which will keep your emotions tied up in knots.

Quinn Dorsey is getting close to her 35th birthday. Determined to be married with a baby on the way soon. As the women in her family go through menopause early. She just knows her boyfriend of three years is ready to propose. Brad taking her to an expensive restaurant and allowing her to choose anything she wants, when any other time he is so concerned about money, makes her think it all the more. When it is time for desert and Brad informs her he is moving away and not taking her. Quinn realizes now she doesn't have a man and time is running out on the baby. Joining a dating site to hurry things along Quinn realizes this isn't going to either. To hard to work through the toads. When she talks her friends into helping her trick a man into having sex with her with the sole purpose of getting pregnant. She never expected to have such a physical attraction to the man or that he would ever find out the truth.
Dak had given up on one night stands and bar pick ups, until the night her meet Molly aka Quinn at a bar. After a night of the most intense sex he ever remembers having and taking her back to his place for the weekend. He didn't want to let her go. But when Monday morning rolls around and he wakes up alone. He is determined to find her. yet no matter how hard he looks he can't seems to find anyone who knows he.
Loved the storyline. It was so very wrong what Quinn did. I saw her point and she thought herself desperate. When things went wrong and she ended up with the man that actually had morals about family. Yes Dak was a player but a careful one. After everything the way he treats Quinn even knowing that he has feeling for her was so wrong. Hence the title of the book. But making wrongs doesn't take away from the humor and angst that flows through the story. You find yourself caught up in the web of their own making.
Quinn is in heading towards the dreaded four oh and is unmarried. She desperately wants a child before it's too late but she wants it all, the white picket fence, wedding, perfect man to share her life with and a child or two. Then her long term boyfriend dumps her and her life is thrown into chaos. She decides that even if she doesn't have the white picket fence, wedding or man she can still have a child.
Dak is a manwhore, okay so maybe not I mean he does have short term affairs with his conquests. He's heading towards 40 as well and dates only early 20 somethings with a specific body type. Then when it's time to end a relationship he can use the I'm too old for you line and move on. Until he meets Quinn. Someone so far out of his norm but he can't take his eyes off her. She's not the blond stick figure 25 year olds he's used to, she's a real woman with curves and flaws and his own age. One weekend with her and she disappears but he can't get her off his mind and continues to search for her. Purely but chance he finds her and all hell breaks loose. And honestly as horrible as his treatment of Quinn was at times I can't really blame the guy. Her deception was beyond messed up, she's lucky he needed to keep his job or things may have turned out much differently.
Okay, not going to lie. Honestly when I read Quinn's plan and she actually went through with it I almost put the book down. The route she took was without a doubt wrong. Wrong in so many ways, her guilt and need to tell the truth is what kept me reading and I'm glad I did as the rest of the story was definitely worth it.
This was my first Ann Everett book but I'm a fan, I'll definitely look for more by the author.
If you want a book that has a great combination of hilarious dates, heartbreaking miscommunication, and an amazing love story all wrapped into one neat package, look no further than Ann Everett’s Two Wrongs Make a Right.
Quinn Dorsey is going to extremes to make her dream of a family happen –without thinking her actions throught. She cooks up a scheme to get knocked up by a gorgeous guy and, well, when does that ever go right? She meets Dak and ends up spending the weekend with him…dun dun duuuunn. So, of course she ends up falling (hard) for Dak, and Lordy, it hurts. The first part of the book lulls you into the safe feeling: “Oh, this is cute, I will read unguarded” Well, apparently Ann is a freaking author and I never saw the depth of this book coming.
And let’s not forget Dak. He is so awesome!!! He knew what he wanted (until…) and tried reeeaaalllly hard to get it. But when lies come out and he feels betrayed and foolish, it’s hard for him to come around. He decides, for but he and Quinn, what the best route is going to be, and while it is hard to “watch” I was completely sucked in. You would think that the vulnerability Dak shows (to us the reader) would lessen his “manliness” but no, no, no, he is perfect!
I loved seeing how these two characters grew (and grew up) and interacted with each other. I wanted to laugh with Quinn over her dates, cry with her (and Dak) for their inability to clear the air, and slap both of them at times for being so damn bull-headed. Honestly, I could not put this book down, and I have a feeling you won’t be able to either.
I give Two Wrongs Make a Right 4.5 stars and recommend you pick it up TODAY!
This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review by The Book Enthusiast.
Thirty five years old and dumped. Quinn Dorsey is running out of time. Her biological clock is ticking, quite loudly. If she is going to have a baby, she needs to take some drastic measures and quickly. She weighs all her options carefully and decides to have a one night stand and hope for the best. She hijacks her stash of condoms to help things out a little bit. In true Quinn fashion things do not always go completely as planned.
Dak Savage is gorgeous and scared of commitment. He only goes out with woman that know the score. No commitments needed or wanted, sex only. He specifically stays away from bar pick ups tending only to stick with women whose history is known to him. On the night that he runs into Quinn at the local bar his rules are all broken and they spend the weekend together having hot monkey sex.
This is a hilarious story. They are both bitten by the love bug and refuse to admit it or refuse to see it. I loved to see how they both danced around the truth.
I thought the author did a great job on the whole story line. Quinn has had a lack luster sex life in the past and is blown away by all techniques that Dak uses on her. These scenes were hot hot hot. I believe it was love at first sight for these two. I enjoyed the way that the secondary characters played such a large roll in the story both his family and her friends. I would rate this story a 5/5 and would definitely read more by this author.
This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I wanted both Dak and Quinn to find their HEA, but I also wanted them to find it together. They spent so much time debating and being silly that I felt like they were never going to get things straight.
In some ways, I felt like I’d read this story before: woman approaching menopause, but she desperately wants a baby and she’ll do just about anything to get it. Man suckered into bed with a woman he doesn’t really know, but he goes all too willingly anyway. But Ms. Everett through in things that made this story more unique than the cliche old tale.
One of my first notes in this book is what a horrible mom Quinn has. Any mom that would tell their daughter that a man didn’t have to love you to marry you is just crazy. And to tell your daughter that she shouldn’t dress in a way that makes her happy or decorate in a way that isn’t herself, it’s just all so wrong and I understand why Quinn took so long to actually go see her mom.
And really Dak just seemed too perfect for his own good. He was so sweet and romantic and gave so much of himself to Quinn even when all they were promised was one weekend. The efforts he went to find her after their weekend was over were amazing as well.
I enjoyed this tale and am thankful that I was able to join them on their crazy ride to finding each other. I felt more connected and invested in Dak than Quinn, but I didn't hate her like I have some heroines. I absolutely loved the epilogue and wish I could have more of them.
So I have mixed emotions about this book. I'm giving it 3.5 stars because the last half of the book really had me hooked, but the first half I just couldn't get into. I actually had to put it down and come back to it a little later. With that said, I did enjoy Quinn and Dak. Quinn is hilarious and I loved her 2 friends, Megan and Raynie. I'm hoping we get a book about Raynie.
Dak is kind of a jerk for most of the book but I do realize why, but it just kind of turned me off of him for the most part because of that. I don't want to spoil the book and give anything away, but Quinn lies to Dak, thinking she will never see him again so what does it matter? Well, of course Dak finds out the truth and what he does isn't really the greatest. He does redeem himself, and I think the dual POV really helped. If I hadn't gotten into Dak's head as well I think I would have just hated him, but knowing what he was feeling helped.
This two are both using each other for something and end up being miserable. It takes almost the whole book for them to realize whats in front of them and figure out their differences. The humor and supporting characters helped make this book better for me. Overall it was a good book, it just wasn't really for me. It did have some great parts in it and I would recommend giving it a try if your looking for a light, funny read.

I really thought this was a good story, I thought it was written well and I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. The story is about Quinn Dorsey, her biological clock is ticking and she really wants a baby, would be nice to have a husband as well. Quinn writes articles for the local newspaper, lives in a not so good apartment, cooks for her Dad and Grandpa and tries to avoid her mother. She has had a few fallen relationships and time is not on her side. She is trying to find a man. Then decides she just wants a baby. She checks out ways she can get pregnant. Her and her friends come up with a scheme…. Dak Savage oh so hot, he is on top of his career and he isn’t interested in a relationship, tired of women lying, among many things. Somehow fate has Quinn and Dak at the same bar at the same time. Neither one normally goes to the bar, nor do they normally pick up on the opposite sex. So far so good, very fun and interesting to read. I loved the attitude of the characters and how the story flows. I felt the author Ann Everett did a great job on this book and I can’t wait to read more of her books.
WOW!! I wasn’t sure how I’d like this book cause; I can’t stand people who lie. So I identified with Dak, I could feel how it ate him up inside. I was shocked at how much I loved this story. I’d give it a four point seven five rating and that’s only because there were a few errors, twice the word to was missing from the sentence. To get a five there can’t be anything wrong with the story. The two main characters Quinn and Dak are both strong and beautifully written. I just loved how the story flowed. This story was well thought out and developed to the fullest no holes were left, and with the epilogue, you don’t feel like you were missing anything at the end. As I said I felt the connection to Dak because we both hate liars. I believe a person’s honor is very important and those people who lie have no honor, and Dak felt the same. My heart went out to Quinn, for as a mother. I could not imagine my life without children in it. Like Quinn from an early age, I knew I wanted to grow up and be a mom. Would I recommend this book to other yes and I will when I post on Goodreads.

I truly enjoyed this sweet romantic story. This was my first book from Ann Everett and I'm excited to have discovered her.
Quinn Dorsey is a woman in her 30's trying to find true love. She wants a family badly, but is under a family curse that has her biological clock going at warp speed. All of her tries at love have been wastes of time, and now she's desperate. Quinn is not a dishonest person but her desperation leads her to making a very bad choice. When her bad choice goes south, she ends up with Dak, who is not happy at all with her. However, he has his own web of lies. Will these two figure out that they are the best mistake every made?
Two Wrongs Make a Right is a romantic story with flawed but heartfelt characters. Ann Everett did a great job writing characters I could relate to, and the secondary characters were awesome. I actually physically felt sad quite a bit throughout the book, but I also laughed, cheered, and felt some hot flashing at the sexy scenes. The lack of communication irritated me to no end, but it was a fantastic build to a great ending. I can't wait to read more by this author. 4.5 Stars.
Quinn isn't getting any younger and she has really crap luck with men. She makes huge time investments in relationships expecting forever and they don't stick. She desperately wants a baby and that causes her to try online dating. These dates are so "different". What a hoot.. With her friends help she decides to pick a man, seduce him and pray for a positive pg test result. lol
Dak dates, but never makes a lasting connection. These two characters are portrayed almost as if they are from different stories. I loved that.. When they finally meet the connecting stories make sense. I loved the mystery surrounding this beginning. It kept me turning pages in anticipation of "their" story to begin. Then they kept turning as their relationship smoldered.
Ann writes these characters with wonderful insight into their emotions, fears and desires. Does Quinn get her (baby) wish? Can Dak understand her motivation? Two Wrongs Make a Right is a really good book read it and find out.. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*
A Fun Funny Read With A Lot of Heart I very much enjoyed this read. I found myself laughing out loud, the poor woman. The main character Quinn ends up on some pretty hilarious very bad dates trying to answer her ticking biological clock, and then comes up with an even crazier scheme in order to get herself a baby. She certainly wasn't expecting Dak. The author has written a very realistic story with endearing and lovable characters. I also liked the secondary characters who, rather than fill space really add to the story. I really enjoyed the story and though the lack of communication at times made me want to scream in frustration I couldn't help but continually root for a HEA. I liked the epilogue very much and wish more authors would include ones like this on their books. I can't wait to read more from this author. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
It took me about 40% of the way to actually start enjoying this book. I feel like the story didn't start until then. The author could have summarized the first half and the book would have been just fine or maybe better. I also would have liked to have more of Dak and Quinn as a couple. Most of the book was spent with her looking for a man or him hating her. Other than these few things, I enjoyed the book. My heart ached a few times for them both. Once the story really got started I found myself feeling for the characters more. I enjoyed both characters' personalities and the author's writing style. The ending felt a little rushed, but I am happy with the overall outcome. If the author could have not gone into so much detail about every date Quinn went on and focused more on Quinn and Dak, this book could have easily been a 4.5 - 5 star read.
Let me start by saying THANK YOU ANN for sending me a copy of this wonderful, hilarious book:)))
Needless to say that I enjoyed it very much:))))
Quinn and Dak are amazing both together and separately, and their characters are strong, charismatic and downright sweet. I like how the story sucked me in right from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. I explored a swirl of emotions while reading- I laughed, I smiled, I was angry and quite honestly overwhelmed at some point...
I am really tired of teenagers and all their drama, so I was thrilled to read about these two mature, amazing people that know what they want (most of the time);)))
Overall, it really was a great read, and I recommend it most ardently:))) I am really looking forward to reading the next book by Ann:)))
I received this book as an arc from the author for a honest review. The author has written believable characters with real human quirks. Quinn is 35 and her biological clock is a TICKING TIMEBOMB! Her boyfriend of 3 years just broke up with her on the night she thought he was going to propose! After having no luck on a dating site she devises a plan to get what she wants. She meets Dak and her plan goes sideways. Quinn and Dak both do wrong after they meet, can they build from those mistakes and make things right? I loved the title as it describes the story perfectly. The family and friends really give the story life, I loved Raynie especially. Great Read!
What a great entertaining, sweet read! I absolutely fell in love with Quinn Dorsey and Dak Savage's "un" love story. Fate brings these two determined people together whether they like it or not causing an emotional rollercoaster worth riding. Their love/hate relationship built upon lies just sucks you into the pages of this book making you unable to stop reading until the very end. Add in some quirky, loveable side characters and a strong dose of chemistry between Quinn and Dak and you've got yourself at least a four star read. My only suggestion would be that I want more! I'd have loved another few chapters of this amazing book.
I really enjoyed this story. it had everything needed to make a great read. there was humor, friendship, Hotties, heartbreak and love.
Quinn's search for love is an adventure. Dak's life was lacking. What started as a crazy scheme on Quinn's part turned into a wonderful weekend filled with everything she has been searching for until she had to go back to reality.
Dak and Quinn's story is not a fairytale but what does not kill us makes us stronger and this story shows us that.
