Not a bad romance. Jett was plenty hot, and Quinn finally got spoiled for the first time in her life. Her back story drama got a little old about halfway through. I think the book could have cut some of the back and forth alcoholic drama down some and shortened the story, and it would have been a lot better of a book.

The book started pretty good but the story quickly fell into a pattern of back and forth family drama which spanned most of the book. The romance felt kinda rushed and I was technically bored throughout. I didn't feel any chemistry between the hero and heroine. I blame my "spark" radar for this. *self-conscious laugh*
I wanted to like this book, trust me I do, but it just didn't hold my interest. The romance aspect was weak too. I'm sorry.
However, if you're in the mood for romance books with low-angst, you'll enjoy reading this then.

I loved this! Jett and Quinn were so cute together. I really like the characters from c.a.harms other books being apart of this series. I loved the ending.

Jett is Alexis' brother. (she was the main character in Loving Colt) This is the first of a new spin off series; The Key West Series and I am loving it! Jett is the successful owner of his own restaurant in the Keys. He enjoys women, but he's no whore. He just has goals to achieve and not enough time for a serious relationship. Quinn is in a tough position. Her mother is an alcoholic mess and she never knew her father. She wanted to go to college, but when you are the only one supporting a mortgage and bills and putting food on the table, you have few choices.
Needing a break she goes out clubbing with her best friend Avery. She makes eye contact with a gorgeous guy and the two end up leaving together. Wild sex follows but Quinn leaves before Jett wakes up. She's left her mother alone long enough and that only leads to trouble.
Needing to bring in more money, Quinn interviews for a waitress job. She works at Spencer's a gentlemen's club (no, she's not a dancer, she waitresses) but she needs more cash for her mother's never ending emergencies. Guess who owns the restaurant and who her possible new boss is? Jett can't believe it's the same girl he spent the night with, he was more than a little disappointed when he woke up alone. It's obvious that she's qualified for the job, and by hiring her, it gives him an excuse to see more of her.
Quinn wishes she could return Jett's interest, but her life is such a mess and unfortunately, due to a secret her mom just revealed, it's only going to get a lot worse. But Jett likes Quinn, and he is determined to wade through the crap that surrounds her life if that's what it's going to take to get her to give him a chance.
Life brings an ironic twist to Quinn that shakes her to the core. Will she let herself lean on Jett for his support or will she cut and run?
This was a great debut for this new series. There are a ton of interesting characters all begging to have their stories told. So sit in a comfy chair, grab your favorite drink and dig in-Key West just got a whole lot hotter!

We met Jett in The Southern Boy Series. After I read about him I actually private messaged CA and said, "Jett is getting a book right?" She laughed at me, then told me he was the first in a new series. Needless to say I was ecstatic!! I was even happier when the ARC for the book appeared on my Kindle!!!
Jett, well he was Jett. Successful man who got to where he was through determination and sweat. Quinn has had a hard difficult life. Her mother took all her time and energy. After being talked into attending a party by a friend, she meets this guy and they have one hell of a night together. Thinking the one-night-stand was over, Quinn leaves. But even as she drives home, she left a little bit of her heart behind.
Imagine Jett's surprise when fate steps in and brings Quinn and him together again. They are so hot they burn up the charge on my Kindle.
When Quinn's mom throws more and more at her, it is up to Jett to stand by her and catch her when she falls. Total book boyfriend material. A definite must read. I can't wait for Ryker's book!

Good start to a series that I'm sure will only amp up as we get more involved with all characters.
Jett & Quinn's story was pretty good. My only issue was at times I wanted to smack Quinn for the million and one excuses she would come up with not to just be happy. BUT - as the story progresses, I found sympathizing with her life and decisions.
I loved Jett out the bat. He technically would not give up on his conquest of Quinn and that's always commendable. No games, no crazy stalker ex's, little to no drama.
Looking forward to the rest of the crews HEA.

Freaking a Jett officially is my favorite C.A. Harms man and that us saying a lot since Gavin held on so tight, sorry Gavin you have been replaced, but I will remember the time we had.
Unpredictable was one hell of a ride. I was laughing than crying all at once it was insane.
I started out with it going in strong
Than C.A. slapped me in the face with Quinns backstory of the relationship with her mom!!
Than entered Jett and holy mother of gosh I was blown away by his sexy charm and him and Quinn had a moment that was HOTT!!
Than Quinn does the inevitable and I am sitting her thinking WTF!!
Than FINALLY everything seems right and I am so happy and think nothing can go wrong and BAM
And it is like another Bam Bam Bam one right after another.It drove me nuts. Poor Quinn girl just couldn't get a break!! I felt for her I realy did. I am glad Jett was there for her when she needed someone the most! He loved her and he loved her hard. it was so sweet!
Finally everything was turning around and AWE it could have never better.
However now I need book 2 ASAP..
** Also Colt and Alex make a couple appearances and it is freaking amazing!!

I'm really loving C.A. Harms and the awesome stories that she continues to gift me with. This story brought out every emotion. It had the angst that you get when the characters constantly push each other away, it had me laughing out loud, and it most definitely had me crying. There were also so many events that took place that I did not see coming. I loved the relationship that grew between Jett and Quinn. When they first met, they both thought it would be just one night. Quinn's life was hectic. She was constantly taking care of her mom leaving her no time for herself. Jett's life was busy running his restaurant. When their paths cross again, Jett can't get Quinn out of his head. Quinn constantly pushes him away because she feels that she doesn't have room for him in her life, but Jett doesn't let that stop him. Their relationship starts as friends and little by little, Jett makes his way into Quinn's heart. When Quinn finally lets her walls down, and realizes her true feelings for Jett, she no longer holds her feelings back and lets him know exactly how beautiful she thinks he is.
"When I'm with you, all the shit in my life just disappears. For the first time in so damn long, I feel free, like what I need, what I want matters. It's been so long since I felt at ease, it's still hard to figure how you make me feel so carefree. You help me forget. All the torment and garbage that has piled up over the years, it means nothing when I'm with you. But I love it. I love the way you make me feel." Our eyes met once again and my heart raced. "It's beautiful. You're beautiful."
I really enjoyed this story and loved that when Quinn needed Jett the most, he was there for her and her family. Closer to the end of the story was when the tears really started to fall and when I really started to fall in love with Jett. He continued to amaze me throughout Unpredictable and I can't wait to read more about him in throughout this series!

CA Harms is one of my all-time favorite authors and with each book that she writes, it solidifies it even more. Unpredictable was AMAZING. Jett was delicious and Quinn was so strong despite all the things she had been through. This book was written very well, the character development was on point and the plot flowed effortlessly. FIVE STARS!!
“The desire to have her again was almost unbearable. I had never before had such a problem with getting things I wanted until now.”
One of Jett’s qualities that I loved so much was the fact that he wasn’t an overly controlling man where Quinn was concerned. Yes, he was alpha, but he was also patient – not a pushover by any means, though. You see, he gave Quinn her space when she needed it, but he was also persistent when she needed a little push. In my opinion, he had the perfect balance between a sweet and understanding guy and a dominant alpha male. Simply put, Jett was DELICIOUS.
Quinn had A LOT going on in her life and the last thing she needed was a distraction. She did not have the time to fall in love. But then….where love is concerned, when do we ever get our way? Quinn was fighting a losing battle. She and Jett were inevitable. They were bound to happen sooner or later. Especially after that first night….
“That night was not a mistake. It wasn’t wrong. I know you feel the same way. Something that felt that amazing can’t be a mistake. For some reason, though, you want me to believe you regret it. Why?”
So much happened! Misunderstandings, heartache, angst – oh my! I was HOOKED and in love with not only the characters (all of them!) but the storyline as well! Gah! Really. CA Harms nailed it! Quinn has always been the adult in her home. With an alcoholic mother, she had to resort to taking care of her mom as well as herself. But what happens when you reach your breaking point and finally do something for you? In Unpredictable, the readers get introduced Quinn and see what she endures. One night, after begged by her best friend, Quinn decides to have fun. Fun then leads to one perfect night with a guy named Jett. A local popular restaurant owner, Jett has had his fair share of women. He isn’t hurting in that department, if you know what I mean. But that one night with Quinn leaves him flooded with memories and questions. Will they be make their relationship work with all the things unpredictable?
Oh goodness, the feels in this book! There were moments when I felt Quinn’s anger, exhaustion, and the feeling of being lost. And I will be honest, I shed a few tears. I couldn’t handle the twist that had me blown away. I was just glad that a character like Jett came in the picture. He is perfect for Quinn. I loved the domineering side and in fact I liked that he didn’t fit the billionaire mold like so many other books. I will definitely recommend this book, it was a quick read so pick it up today for a relaxing day at the park! Looking forward to the next book! 4 smooches for Unpredictable by C.A. Harms.

C.A. Harms has done it again!! As soon as I finished Colt's book I remember messaging CA telling her my fingers were crossed Jett would be getting his own book and here we are!! From the very first page I was hooked!! My heart broke for Quinn and the things she was going thru with her mother. She works herself to death to provide for them only to have her mother act as if it doesn't matter. How much can Quinn handle before she breaks? Will she ever be able to find somebody to stand by her side and show her she is worth fighing for? All that will change for her the moment she meets Jett!! The connection between the two is instant and off the charts but Quinn doesn't think anyone will be able to handle all her baggage. Can Jett prove her wrong?
I absolutely love this story and the characters. Even though its brief, I loved getting more on our previous couples as well!!
If you have not yet read any books by the amazing CA Harms, you are truly missing out. I def one click every one of her books!! After that ending, I can't wait to get my hands on Jett's little sister Harper's book!!

This is my first time reading C.A. Harms and I am instantly addicted and eager to start the next book in the series, which luckily, I already have loaded on my kindle, along with the rest of the series to date. Oh happy day! Her writing was entertaining, easy to follow, relevant, steamy, frequently humorous, insightful, and emotive. In other words - perfection!

I was given a copy for an honest review.
I am a huge fan of C.A. Harms and could not wait to read Unpredictable!! This story was amazing!! I was sucked in from the start until the last page!
The main characters, Quinn and Jett, both stole my heart. I loved their story although it wasnt always easy. The chemistry between the two was off the charts and the way Jett went after Quinn, oh my stars was absolutley swoon worthy!
This book was packed with a great story and plot, I actually found myself actually feeling for Quinnn. How much can one person take before they break? There of course was some drama and angst mixed in there perfectly! I loved the characters, yes even the secondary ones!!

**JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW**
What can I say about this author and her amazing writing skills that I have not already mentioned in my past reviews. I have read all of her novels and I love her ability to write a story that takes me on an emotional journey that always leaves me wanting more. Unpredictable is the first book in the Key West series and let me start of by saying this was an amazing start to this series. I loved the way the plot of this story was written. The flow was steady and easy to follow. I connected with both the main characters in this book on a personal and emotional level.
Once I started reading, I could not get enough and could not put it down until the very end. Unpredictable was a very moving read for me. I cried, laughed and felt every single bit of emotion the characters went through. This is Jett and Quinn’s story and if you read the Southern Boys Books then you will remember him from that series. He is Alexis’s brother. One thing that I truly love most about this author’s writing is that when she brings us a new book or series she brilliantly intertwines characters from previous novels.
I was skeptical about Jett’s character. I mean in book 3 of the Southern Boys series his sister Alexis describes him as being a playboy. I wasn’t sure how the author would sell his character. Let me say he was nothing at all like he was described in Loving Colt. Jett is the owner of the hottest restaurant in Palm Florida. He worked hard saving his money and taking night courses so he can get his degree and reach his goal. Jett’s restaurant consumed his life. All his energy and time went to managing and keeping it number 1 in the area. His family and friends thought he was a bachelor but Jett did not have time for the needs of a woman. Nothing was going to get in the way of his dreams. He never questioned his life until he agrees to go to a party with his friend Kade.
Quinn’s character is one that I gravitated too. She is the sweetest selfless and most loving person. Quinn really does not have much of a life. She literally has helped raised her alcoholic mother for 20 years. Quinn works two jobs. She has no time for relationships. Her focus is her mother and making sure she does not get hurt. The one time she agrees to go out with her friend Avery she meets Jett and for just one night she lets loose.
Holy Batman and Robin! The chemistry between Jett and Quinn is off the charts HOT! Neither is at all what they portray to the outside world. Quinn is damaged. She doesn’t think anyone should have to deal with her crazy life. She has taken care of herself and her mother for so long she is not used to anyone wanting or doing things for her. Jett is so not the playboy I thought he was going to be. One night was all he needed to know Quinn was special. OMG I loved Jett so much. He is a total alpha male.
“What are you doing here?”
“Fight it Quinn, I see the way you react to me, to my touch. I know you’re curious about where this could go with us. You don’t have to say it out loud, your body already does. Let me just make one thing clear – I don’t give up easily. I will get what I want. I’ll make you see it. For now, thought, I’ll settle for being your chauffeur. Get your ass in the car.”
Jett is patient, kind and gentle with Quinn and with time she falls in love Jett. Their story is amazing, and it wasn’t an instant love it. I loved that it happened over a period of time. I felt for Quinn, her character is at the breaking point, but Jett seems to be the constant in her life grounding her.
Just when she is happy and in love, Quinn gets the rug ripped from under her. Two secrets are revealed that will bring Quinn world crashing down. This story will crush you but assured you will be put back together. You will fall in love with Quinn and Jett and pray that they both can have their happily ever after. We get to see some other characters from the Southern boy series I loved that we get a look into their lives.
Can Jett’s love be enough to help Quinn get through her darkest hours? Will these secrets be the final straw for Quinn? Seriously pick up this book. This is one you won’t regret experiencing.

What can I say about this author and her amazing writing skills that I have not already mentioned in my past reviews. I have read all of her novels and I love her ability to write a story that takes me on an emotional journey that always leaves me wanting more. Once again, C.A. Harms has written a wonderful book! As many of you may have guessed by now, I am a HUGE C.A. Harms fan. Her writing just seems to suck me right in and hold me tight until the last page. And even then, I am usually left wanting more. I get excited each time I know a new book is coming because I KNOW I will be in for a ride. This book is no exception. We met Jett in the last Southern Boys book, LOVING COLT, as he is Alexis' brother. And with the glimpse we were given of him, you knew that he loved fiercely and would do anything for those he loved.
Jett owns his own restaurant and doesn't have time for relationships. He has never met someone who even makes him want to try, that is until he meets Quinn. While their first meeting and night together wasn't supposed to mean anything, he can't seem to get her out of his mind. When he woke up alone the morning after their wonderful night, all he wants to do is find her and have several repeat nights. The last thing he expects is for her to turn up at his restaurant looking for a job.
Quinn has had a shit life and no matter what she does, it doesn't seem to get any better. With a mother who is an alcoholic, the job of being a mother and provider falls solely on her shoulders. She is not sure how much more she can take when her best friend conveniences her to attend a party to forget about her problems for a little while. When she meets Jett she can't deny the attraction she feels and wants to experience one night of being free of all her problems and at the mercy of Jett's body. When she bolts after he falls asleep to make sure she is home to take care of her mother, she can't help but feel the pang of regret at leaving him without a way to contact her; however, she tells herself it is for the best as she doesn't have the time for anything else. When she shows up at a job interview and is face to face with the man who has haunted her dreams, she can't believe it. She wants nothing more than to fall back into his arms, but she has way to much baggage for someone like him.

Jett is going down on my list of top BBFs!! I loved reading about how Quinn tried to deny what was happening between them and how Jett was determined to not let that happen. Jett knew Quinn was a strong woman, but he wanted to be able to help hold her up when things became too much. I loved these two and couldn't be happier that they got their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what happens in the next one; hopefully Harper will get her HEA (fingers crossed).

Another hit for CA Harms !! No surprise here I love everything she writes !! Once again she always adds just the right amount of angst , emotion , hot sex and of course love. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and I loved the setup we have for more to come !!
Quinn has had a crappy life , being the parent to her mom and never knowing her father. Now having to work 2 jobs and not go to school just to support her alcoholic mom. Every now and then Quinn's bestie Avery gets her out of the house and at this party it just so happens that Quinn takes a chance on being carefree and may have just found the one guy that will change her life...OR NOT. Will Quinn allow herself the happiness Jett is offering or will she push him away because of her baggage ?? Quinn doesn't have it easy , despite the love and support she gets there are still many hurdles right up until the end. She may have a tendency to use the same excuses and hide her feelings BUT in the end when she does do the right think it is amazing for her and a happy Quinn is a fabulous Quinn !!
Jett is a workaholic. He runs his own restaurant and has been searching for a waitress that can handle the job. After a wild night of letting go with a chick he just met Jett is surprised to find out he may just get another chance at trying to make her stick around. Jett is amazing , he is full of emotion and just hot as sin and all alpha !! I love his friendships and I love his fierceness in work and what he desires. When Jett has his mind set on Quinn she needs to just give up and realize , like he said , she's his and thats it , no need to question it.
The main issue between these two is Quinn being ashamed of her life. She holds things back and doesn't allow for the connection to build. She tries pushing Jett away and at one point she almost manages to do so. Thankfully Jett gives her space and hangs on waiting for her to come to her senses. Quinn's struggles are heartbreaking but Jett's love is amazing and together it is beautiful !! The heat between these two is just WOW PHENOMENAL !! Yum , Jett is freakin fantastic and I would love to take a turn with him in the office or in the hot tub or really anywhere !!!!!!! I am looking forward to what comes next and I devoured this story in a matter of hours , much like every other book by this author !!

Honestly, I don't know where to start. I fell in love with CA Harms stories a long time ago. Her writing style has a way of making you really and truly believe you are part of the story. So, Unpredictable was exactly that... Unpredictable.

A broken soul but one of the strongest female characters I've ever come across. Her threshold for emotional pain holds no boundaries. Even in her darkest days she fought to remain strong, regardless of what life tribulations she was thrown. Her best friend is really her only confidant. A little crazy & carefree she encourages Quinn to go to a party with her & it's here she lets go of her obligations & inhibitions.
A one night stand turns into a journey.
Jett & Quinn's story is many things. It's about learning how to open up & ultimately learning how to forgive.

CA Harms has quickly become one of my favourite Authors, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Jett's book. You first meet Jett in Loving Colt he is Alexis brother, and I fell in love with him there. In Unpredictable Jett goes on a journey with Quinn, he's a successful businessman and has gotten where he is today with sheer determination to succeed. He isn't used to people saying No to him and not getting what he wants, which in this case is Quinn.
Quinn on the other hand is used to not getting what she wants, She has a Mom that is an alcoholic, and a father that has never been there. Quinn has to struggle through daily life working all hours to keep the bills paid and her Mom out of trouble.
Enter Jett who after a one night stand he doesn't just want Quinn he needs her! He has to step up and show that he can be there for Quinn and help her.
Unpredictable had me hooked from start to finish. It is well written and deserves the five stars given. I am sooooo looking forward to the rest of this series.

Sometimes you just need to get away from your life, you need an escape. Sometimes you meet the right person at the right time. Quinn's life is one endless cycle and for one night she breaks it. What she doesn't realize is that that night will change her life forever (no, she's not pregnant!)
I really liked this story. Jett is perfect BBF material, right down to the stupid thing that comes out of his mouth on night. I loved how his family and friends embrace Quinn and that Quinn was able to get some of those "moments" she needed with her own family. At on point I had tears in my eyes.
I'll definitely be reading more of this series.

This is a great first book in The Key West Series. I absolutely loved Jett and Quinn together. Great couple and an awesome supporting group of friends/family. I am really looking forward to crazy Harpers story.

Hmm.. 2ish stars... even when I DNF it at 50%... Well after going on the roller coaster ride (not a good roller coaster, one that makes you sick and never want to get back on) that was Enemies, I wanted to pick something light and easy to read.
This was both light and easy to read.. but it didn't fulfill the epic book I was looking for. The writing was fine but as the star rating says "it's okay"
At the beginning it was looking up, Quinn a 25 year old woman looking after her alcoholic mother, puts her needs over everyone else's decides to indulge in a party her friend drags her to where she meets Jett. Jett is an owner of a restaurant who was known to his friends as a bachelor since he never held down a relationship for very long, if ever. Well they meet and ya know they do the deed (sex, they have sex) Quinn, who doesn't want to drag anyone in to her mess of a life, decides to dip, and Jett is pissed because he thought they shared something special (even though they didn't have a meaningful conversation, the looks they were giving each other were enough to want her forever).
If anyone knows me (which you don't seeing as this is the internet and I don't know anyone on here), I hate Instalove, that is my all time least favorite trope, to me it's not believable. I will say there have been a few instances that it has worked and I looked past it, but this one made my eyes roll.
Anyways, back to the story Quinn is looking for another job to keep her afloat and what do you know Jett is hiring for a waitress position, perfect for Quinn. Quinn wants to put their night behind them since she knows she has no time for a relationship, and Jett somehow misses that memo and is pursuing the crap out of Quinn.
Fast forward to about 50% of the book, I am going to be pretty much spoiling what happened from here on out, so if you don't want to read that this is time for you to go, otherwise proceed at your own risk. I won't be putting that many spoilers on there just my reactions to some events, but I don't want to get yelled at if you found that it's a big spoiler soo just covering my bases.

Soo if you like insta love then this book with be perfect for you! I on the other hand do not like insta love so it is a no from me.

I loved this book! It was sweet, sexy, and had a few twists and turns along the way. This book pulled me in right from the beginning and captivated me until the very end. This book was a fast read that had me laughing, smiling, and shedding a few tears along the way.
This is Quinn and Jett's story. Quinn is struggling and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. She is sinking fast and doesnt knew how to stop it. She decides to let go for one night and just be young. This is where she meets Jett. After an unbelievable night together, she returns back to her life. But when she runs into him again, she can't deny the chemistry or feelings she has for him. Jett can't forget the night he had with Quinn so when life throws them back together, he takes a chance to get the girl. But when misconceptions happen, it is hard for Jett to trust. Can he trust and accept Quinn? Can Quinn let someone else in to her life?
Loved these two! They had chemistry from the beginning. They had that spark and passion. But they were two people with their own hang ups so trust was hard for both of them. And Quinn, god my heart bled for her at times. I know what it is like to feel like you're drowning at times so I could empathize with her. And Jett... super yummy and hot! I cannot wait to see them in future books.
I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed it
Jett Jameson is the owner of a popular Palm Beach restaurant. He has worked hard to realize his dream. Apparently he was first introduced in a previous series of CA Harms, which I have not read. My opinion of Jett is based only on this book. He is happy being a bachelor and is more consumed by his business. I have to say I loved him.
Quinn Tucker has always wanted to be a photographer, but had to drop out of school and put her dreams on a back burner to take on the responsibility of a crummy parent.
Jett and Quinn meet at a party which they both agreed to attend reluctantly. They were kind of forced to go by their respective friends. Quinn's friend knows she needs a break from her everyday responsibilities and Jett's best friend knows he needs a break from his restaurant. Jett notices Quinn immediately. As he tries to get away from an old hook-up . He asks Quinn to play along and act like his girl. They hit it off and end up having a one night stand. She sneaks out, not so much because she wants to, but because she needs to get back home.
Jett is back at work but disappointed that Quinn didn't stick around. He doesn't know what he did wrong and he doesn't know how to get in touch with her until she comes straight to him. She is in need of a second job and is at his restaurant to interview for a waitress job.
This was a sweet romance about a guy who knew what he wanted immediately and works hard to prove to the girl that he wants her baggage and all. There was pushing away by Quinn, or at least she tried. He is a very persistent guy. She likes Jett but her home life is in shambles and she is embarrassed of her situation and refuses to open up to Jett about it. She does have a hard life and it gets worse. I was not happy with her mother. I was so aggravated by this woman. Yes, she had an addiction and I know this is a disease, but she never followed thru on treatment. She was the mother and failed Quinn miserably. Not only that she has been holding things from Quinn for years. I truly disliked her (guess that's the mother in me, my kids are my #1 priority). Then I felt bad for what happened to her.
I thought Jett was very supportive and loving and I just wanted Quinn to be happy. I was rooting for them in my head.
There is one small part that I was like noooooo.....Jett don't do this to me. I understood why he felt the way he did and I forgave him. This was the catalyst for some angst, but I do not want that to deter people from reading this book. There is no OW/OM drama in this book. We have a sweet romance with steamy sex scenes and an HEA. There will be triggers for some readers
