Baby… this book was messy, spicy, emotionally charged, and sapphic in the BEST way possible.
Imagine meeting someone who doesn’t just look at you… but actually sees you. Someone who checks on your mental. Someone who notices the little things your man stopped paying attention to a long time ago. That’s what Kha became for Blu. And honestly? Watching Blu slowly unravel and rediscover herself through Kha was addictive to read.
Now listen… Blu never considered being with a woman before. It wasn’t something she was against it just never crossed her mind. Until Kha. One encounter and suddenly this woman is living rent free in her head. The tension? INSANE. The chemistry? Electric. Every interaction between them had me kicking my feet and grinning because you could literally FEEL Blu spiraling in real time. 😂
And THAT KISS???
WHEW.
Lyxa wrote that moment so well because it felt like the exact second Blu’s whole world tilted off its axis. From there the texting, the anticipation, the nervousness before going to Kha’s house… it all felt so real. And can we talk about that dream scene for a second? BABYYYYY. That dream had Blu fighting for her life because once she woke up, there was absolutely no going back. 😭🔥
What I loved most was how natural the connection felt. Kha wasn’t forcing Blu into anything. She made Blu feel safe, desired, feminine, wanted, and emotionally cared for — and that emotional intimacy made the spice hit even harder. By the time they finally got together? Yeah… Kha absolutely did what needed to be DONE. 😮💨
But let’s discuss Lyxa being disrespectful with that ending because WHAT DO YOU MEAN Von comes banging on the door and the book just ENDS?!?! Ma’am??? EXCUSE ME??? 😭😭😭
That cliffhanger was criminal.
Overall, Mrs. Steal Your Chick is a sensual, emotionally awakening sapphic romance that explores attraction, self-discovery, emotional neglect, and what happens when somebody comes into your life and reminds you what butterflies feel like again.

Whewww Chile!!!! This book was for the yearnersssss!! It’s crazy to say I felt like I was Blu. I was grinning and locked in. Kha was so patient but stood her ground in how she felt and getting Blu to be open. Blu running the whole track from Kha right now lol. Then you have Von 🙄🙄🙄 ugh. I enjoyed this cat and mouse and flirty game Blu and Kha played. I definitely need a part two ASAP!!!

Kha is about that life!
Blu and Kha, for starters I think it was a cute little lead up. Blu is a woman in a relationship that’s being mistreated and taken for granted. Kha is just a woman that’s down to earth and easy to get along with. They share mutual friends that want them to get along.
The one thing I didn’t like about this story is the feeling of just being dropped off in the book. Like the beginning doesn’t really explain the characters at all.

Some of the book was very repetitive. It has potential. Just need more. And it ended on a cliffhanger… assuming another book. My first book by author.

if when you finally choose you was a person that is BLU you gotta read this book it is a different twist for this author it is worth the time it take to read
