A profound thank you goes out to Jeff Pintabona for gifting me this little jewel of a novella. Because it is only 100 pages, I will not give too much away other than a "what if" scenario set in the Alaskan wilderness a decade after World War II involving Soviet spies and a menacing mountain lion.
