I feel funnier after reading this book. The amount of times I laughed out loud is astounding. This was a hell of a good time!

Margot is celebrating after divorcing her pos cheating husband whom she’d been with for 20 years. She felt like she missed out on so many things and she really wanted to experience all life had to offer her. I did struggle with the FMC a bit and found her to be either immature or really playing up how “old” she was (she’s 40 but at times makes it sound like she’s a grandma??). I really enjoyed the dynamic of the MMCs and they really carried the book for me.

If you’re looking for a quick, spicy summer read with a why choose romance, this is the perfect book to add to your TBR.

Unfortunately, there were a few things that didn’t work quite as well for me. I love humor in books, but in this one, it was a little over the top for my taste. Margot found herself in so many awkward situations that I felt secondhand embarrassment for her more than once 😬 Those moments pulled me out of the story every now and then…

The three guys were HOT! 🔥🔥🔥
I really liked all of them, but I do wish they’d been given a little more depth. With four main characters, I would’ve loved to get to know each of them better and see their personalities explored a little more.

That being said, I still had a really entertaining time with this book. I also really appreciated that it featured a reverse age gap—it’s not a trope we come across very often, and it’s one I always enjoy.

Sometimes you want an intricate plot, emotional devastation and enough character development to require a PowerPoint presentation.

Comin’ In Hot is interconnected with the Touchdown Love series, which immediately made it feel like dropping back into a universe I already know and enjoy. It’s short, ridiculous in exactly the right ways, genuinely funny and apparently decided subtlety was completely unnecessary.

And the spice???

Trilina Pucci once again understood the assignment. The chemistry was chemistry-ing, the banter was doing its job, and the whole thing had that slightly chaotic energy that makes you stop pretending you’re reading for literary enrichment.

Is this a deep, complex romance that’s going to fundamentally alter my brain chemistry?

No.

Did I need it to be?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

This was pure entertainment. Hot people making questionable decisions, excellent banter, familiar Touchdown Love energy and one glorious fuck it moment that basically sums up the entire reading experience.

Sometimes a book just needs to be fun.

She can make something completely ridiculous and filthy and hilarious…and then somehow find the emotional heart underneath all of it.

I was able to read this book ahead of its release date thanks to the Author Trilina Pucci.

I would recommend this book to someone looking for a hot and spicy quick read.

Trilina Pucci said she was going to give us a spicy summer read and she delivered.
If you liked Tangled and Tinsel by Trilina Pucci but found yourself saying, “ I wish the guys were boyfriends”, this book is for you.

This is a quick burn story. Although not promoted as a poly-romance, that's what I got from it.The three guys are already in a committed three year relationship with each other. It's only insta-lust towards Margot. I actually liked that the relationship towards Margot stays in the lust area and doesn't cross into love because of the short amount of time they spent together.
Even with such a short time together there are moments where they get to know each other better and spend some non spicy time together. Nothing crazy series though. Which is fine for what this book is.

I loved Margot’s journey and I was rooting for her 100%. Loved that she was the older one in the group and this was her second chance to live a life that made her happy. I was so happy to see Moonbeam got her HEA. Plus the group chat with all the girls! Loved it!!

The spice is SPICY and funny. Sounds weird but it works in a way only Trilina Pucci can make it work. There is a good variation of scenes and combos. There is a scene where they are teaching her how to do a specific hands on thing that was probably my favorite. I will say there was one aspect of the spicy scenes that gave me a pit of an ick and it was the non consent voyeurism of two of the guys by Margot. I know she was thirsty but not cool. There is consensual voyeurism later on and it's clear that the guys don't have a problem putting on a show but still didn't sit well with me.

The ending was perfect for me but I could have done without the epilogue. It felt like a bit of a stretch for me.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. It had me laughing, kicking my feet and fanning myself with the spice.

I mean it – 212 pages of pure spicy bliss, with a plot I can get behind. I received this ARC by Trilina Pucci and her amazing content team. This novella completes the Touchdown Love series that includes, ‘Knot So Lucky’ and ‘Three Ways to Mend a Broken Heart’.

This book follows Margot, who learns in a not-so-great way, that her husband of 20 years is banging his assistant, Poppy. This line took me out… ”Oh, and give Poppy my condolences. No woman should have to bear your child, the existence of your small d*ck, and your deep mastery of pleasure incompetence while also being broke.” The slow clap I did reading that line *chef’s kiss*

With that, Margot leaves that life behind and goes to spend some time with her sister with the idea of rediscovering herself… but she ends up discovering Brooks, Brody and Wells. And who are those three men? Just three 28-year-old boyfriends, who boyfriend, who caught Margot’s eye and plan on helping her with s3xy lessons of all the things she didn’t get to experience the last 20 years.

In true Trilina fashion, this book is HILARIOUS and just the perfect amount of hot, steamy, flirty, summer fun! You have to pick this book up to finish out the Touchdown Love series, but also, to have see how Margot’s, Brooks, Brody and Wells’ journey ends.

Another thing I adore about her writing? This is the story of Margot, Wells, Brody, and Brooks. I have to go ahead and tell you that this book is hilarious. I also feel like if you are older, been married for a really long time, and now are single that you too could see yourself in Margot. Margot is forty years old and has been married to the same man for twenty years. When these two get a divorce because their marriage is over and has been pretty much unsatisfactory for a long time, she finds herself in a water not chartered for over twenty years. Her husband also had a girl on the side, and I hope for her sake he was better with her than he was with poor Margot. When she decides that she needs some much-needed time away to find herself, she decides to go and visit her sister Moonbeam. Let the laughter begin because Margot is the most awkward, chatty, filled with embarrassing moments girl there is out there at the time. Oh goodness, this is where I could relate. If you have spent twenty years with someone, I can so see myself being a nervous wreck around attractive men and my mouth getting me into a whole heap of trouble. However, when she meets Wells, Brody and Brooks, they see a different person than she does. They can see what is going on and exactly what she needs to move to the next chapter of her life. I can tell you that my husband probably thought I had lost my ever-loving mind reading this book. Whether we were home or I was riding with him, I was laughing out loud and got some crazy looks. But this book has heart and will hit you in all the feels too in the next moments. This is a steamy little read. Just beware that you might want to read in a place where people don't think you're losing it while your reading.

🔳 How do I begin. Maybe with Tangled in Tinsel. :D It was my first Trilina Pucci book and my first Reverse Harem one. Early on my smut journey and it was a five star and awesome and loved it and wanted that experience again. Well that experience is Comin in Hot. She gave me that feeling of reading something with that surprise in it. Because after hundreds of spicy books you miss that feeling of the first time you read something thinking "I want more of this".

🔳 It hit me while I was at the start of the story. You like romance.. someone then recommends a romance book.. you are reluctant to read one with spice.. but the idea warms up.. and then you are down booktok depths with the most unhinged stories you have read... You get it. Now replace 'you' with the heroin of the story and 'book' with 'a Trilina made man' (in this case more than one). That is what is happening in this book. She discovers the pleasures. Of things. :D

🔳 I loved it. Mostly because I could hear Ms. Pucci's laugh while she was writing this thinking that 'I am going to edge my readers so much' ... and it fudging works. I thought no other book boyfriends in plural could top Alec ,Cole, Jace and Reed... well, sharing Wells, Brooks and Brody sure come very very close.

🔳 If you like those blockbuster summer American comedies, like e.g. "40 Year Old Virgin", it has that kind of situations. But the spice and vibe is soooo much better. The men also. :D

🔳 I have to add that I need more FMCs over 40 by Ms. Pucci. I think she was spot on her mindset and her reactions on a lot of things even if it was a fun story.
