A decent instalove read that moved quickly and wasn’t short on shenanigans or strained family dynamics.
The FMC definitely did not read as 30 years old. Her naivety was obviously part of the plot, but it still had me rolling my eyes at times because girl… grow up. You’re a little too old for the rebellious teen act. And it took her entirely too long to stand up to her mom.
Much like Deacon, I found parts of this overly wordy and flowery in a way that made the narration and dialogue, both internal and between characters, feel unnatural. Even with the FMC being positioned as upper echelon, the dialogue still didn’t feel authentic and overall I still had a hard time connecting with the writing style.
In terms of storyline, I wish Nicole’s shift in behavior had been addressed more clearly. That whole shift left me with questions

hmmmmmmnn
This book was solid… but definitely very average for me. I liked it, but I don’t know—I just wasn’t blown away. It took me over a week to finish, and while I did read a few other books in between, the fact that I kept putting it down says a lot about how much it held my attention. 😂
I also understand that when you get this far into a series, things can start to feel a little tedious. Sometimes it’s hard to keep every book feeling fresh and exciting.
With that being said, Righteous and Jariyah were very cute together. ❤️ He was the bad boy, she was the mayor’s daughter, and somehow these two found their way to each other. I enjoyed watching Jariyah navigate being with someone who was definitely outside of what people expected for her, while Righteous tried to soften up and become a better man for her.
My biggest issue was the ending. I felt like the book ended pretty abruptly, and I was left with questions that I really wanted answered. 😩

I Want a Rough Neck!
I love going to Ribax it’s always a great time when visiting. 😂😂 RB always writes dope stories that make you love the characters regardless of their flaws or backstories. Righteous was holy and hood, tough yet soft, fine and dreamy. He met Jariyah and intended on leaving her right there but couldn’t. This man was smitten with her and fell instantly. She was so intrigued despite his toughness and exterior she decided to see where it could go. Knowing the powers that be could cause him and those he cares about harm; she proved her loyalty and devotion to him. Those around him that weren’t initially trusting of her sure or her intentions, but they saw firsthand just how hard she goes for him. That caused them all to let her in and it proved that she was just right for Righteous.

I liked Righteous’s character. He was unapologetic about who he was and was very protective of Jariyah. His plan to scare her straight backfired when she couldn’t be swayed from what she wanted even though some of the things he said gave her pause.
Jariyah lived a very charmed and sheltered life, but she was determined to find something different than the yes-men her mother kept introducing her to. Jariyah wasn’t always a likable character because of her naivety and thinking she was untouchable because of who her mother was, but she quickly realized that wasn’t the case. It was good to see her finally stand her ground with her mother fully and live her life under her own terms.

Righteous and Jariyah, Loving You Fills My Heart
This author delivers nothing less than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reads & I expected nothing less with this on!!!…
Sometimes parents forget that their children wants their own path in life and their mistakes are just that, theirs!!!…Jariyah took ctrl of of her life and was happier with her choices!!!…I was glad it did not destroy the relationship she has with her father!!!…
Righteous said she was his and he was going to keep her safe, with or without his MC Brothers!!!…
I love how their relationship developed and what could have been a disaster, turned into an opportunity to get to know someone that was not your type, but filled a void and loved you better than you have experienced!!!…

Righteous and Jariyah!!
Jariyah went on the other side of town looking for a man opposite of what her mother, the mayor, kept pushing on her. She ends up finding Righteous with the help of his sister. Righteous and Jariyah finding each other was just what they needed. I enjoyed their banter and their connection. I also enjoyed how protective Righteous was of her, and the way he didn't play about her. I loved the camaraderie between the motorcycle club members. Shadow especially had me cackling with his crazy self. 😂 This was a highly entertaining book with deep-seated feelings, humor, drama and intense moments. Great book that I wholeheartedly recommend you 1 Click!!

Chayse was asked to put fear into her. He 3nded up falling for her.
Jariyah was bored with the type of men in her circle and wanted to know what it would be like to date the opposite of what she was used to.
Chayse and Jariyah were set up on a blind date. He tried to be mean and brash, and she dismissed all his antics. She saw him and claimed him.....lol
Chase did his best trying to deny his feelings, but eventually, he had to accept them. Jariyah was sure she knew what she wanted until she had to be around his MC family.
They both had to deal with a little bit of pushback from their families as they relationship progressed.

Book 6
What can I say about book 6 of the BLP MC Series? Riley did her big one with this book!!
It was so good to spend time with Deacon and Squeak, while meeting Nicole, Righteous and Navea!
Navea knew she needed a man with many layers and not the put together guys her mom wanted her to date. So she asked Nicole to introduce her to someone and the rest is history.
He tried to scare her away but he knew she was different from their first date and she wasn’t scared of his life even though she should have been. If you like opposite attract romance, then add this book and the rest of the series to your TBR, you will not be disappointed!

Okay, now this was a fun read. I loved jariyah and righteous together. She's a good girl looking for a bad boy and d*** skippy, she found it. Not, my girl, I have making men stop and pause, loved their whirlwind romance. I do have to go back and read deacon's story to see about him and squeak. Very, very interesting to find out. If there's a story behind righteous sister Nicole, because I feel like there's something there. Thank you so much. But this is definitely a quick and fun read

OMG...this line damn near took me out! Why Riley? Why? Why? Why?
“He’s a great God! E, E, O, C, L, O, P,”. Not only did Jariyah put on her best Sister Mary Clarence act, but she enlisted Grammy too! Whew Chile my side hurts from laughing.
This was a great story. Riley always includes humor. Big G, action, and lots of love. Chayse was perfect for Jariyah. The MC thought that she was a pampered princess, but my girl had layers. She knew from go that Righteous was her person. I love them for each other.

Righteous got him a book. If you read Deacon you would know they were cousins. The way Jariyah put a hold on him was funny. He failed at the attempt to steer her away, she reeled him in.
She showed everyone that she was more than her mother's daughter. Her foot stood strong on their own ground. Her connections came in handy plus she saved her heart. Navea rose to every occasion and made the crew a believer.
This was a good read.

Riley Baxter always hits with a homerun! That bombass connection between Righteous and Jariyah was incredible! They were both invested after their first meet up, even though Righteous knew the stakes were high.
She was fiesty and determined to live for herself. Once feelings were caught, there was no turning back. Loved how they were protective of each other and covered each's back, no matter what.
It was just a good read for me!

Amazing Read!!!
This author really went all the way out to make you feel this Book. The characters meshed together perfectly. The story blended lot of different scenarios seamlessly. Jariyah and Chayse were definitely made for each other and lived how their story came together. Although I really thought there would be more kickback from the mayor. However her daughter is at to old to try and control. Although she did attempt.

This was Different!
Jariyah is a polished, privileged, stubborn mayor’s daughter who felt as if she was being suffocated (figuratively) by her mother. She was constantly matched to boring, kiss ass men and told how to behave and where to be. Fed up, she requests a blind date with someone who is “Bout Dat Life”. As they say, be careful what you wish for because she meets her match!

This was a good read. Righteous had me irritated, entertained, and rooting for him all at the same time 😂. I liked the characters and the story kept my attention without feeling like it was dragging. There were a few things I wish had been explored a little more, which is really the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. But overall? I enjoyed myself and would definitely read more from this author.

I’m on book no6 and all I will say is lawd keep em’ coming this however has been the most humorous.. I’ve laughed and laughed tears and all. I love everything about the MC’s so this was a treat even better bcz Righteous and Jariah were beyond different but we know how that goes, those tend to be the best unions. Thank you to the author I will be checking out the booklist once I’ve compute MC series.

Chayse is Righteous
Righteous (Chayse Redmond) is just what Jariyah needs. The quick wit, steamy banter ,and text bring instant admiration between this couple. Baxter weaves a beautiful tale of attraction, obstacles, and family drama between this upper crust paralegal and biker restaurant owner. Read it y'all!

Righteous and Jariyah’s story had promise, especially with Jariyah being the mayor’s daughter because I knew the setup could bring some good drama and tension. But for me, I never fully connected with either character enough to truly care about what was happening in their lives or relationship. Overall, this one was an okay read, but I wanted a stronger emotional connection to the characters.

She started out as Jariyah, then went by Nevae and ended up Siren! This was really good. She said she needed a rough neck and messed around and found out... alot! My only wonder is what her mama Mayor Owens, had going on. My hope is we get another dose of these two and find out what mama mayor had going on behind the scenes...

I love anything by Riley Baxter! I truly enjoyed this book in this series! Righteous was allat! 🤭love the instant attraction between Jariyah n Righteous, how they fell in step with their attraction despite the opposing characters ( her mom) and other club members 👊🏽enjoyable read!!!

We need a sequel.
Because the conflict between Siren & her mom was so intense the majority of the book. It only is fair to continue with their drama. And I could see the opposing issue is a want to be suitor still pursuing her. It would also shock our systems when the parents meet & a wedding is had. That is a great second book.

Great read.
Jariyah was tired of her mother playing match maker, so she went out to find a man that lived on the edge. Boy, did she find it. Righteous was just what she wanted and needed, and she was the same for him. Some stuff went down, and well, read it for yourself.

Loved It
A great read of opposites attract! Jariyah & Righteous were made for each other! They unexpectedly fell for one another and I love how they had one another's back! I want to read more about Righteous & Jariyah!

I really enjoyed reading this one. It's my favorite of the series so far. I love the message. No one should dictate who you choose to spend your life with. Against all odds go for what your heart desires. Well written!

Righteous goes on a blind date with Jariyah as the request of his sister. The goal was to scare her out of the hood but she’s intrigued and he’s mystified. They end up getting involved despite the naysayers and they find an everlasting love. I loved it.
