Gerald Austin Browne (born 1924, in Connecticut, USA) is an American author and editor.
Browne was raised in Litchfield County, Connecticut. He attended the University of New Mexico, The Sorbonne and Columbia University, where he won several literary awards. His first novel, It's All Zoo, was written while he was living in Paris and working as a fashion photographer. His bestselling novels include 11 Harrowhouse, Green Ice, 19 Purchase Street, Stone 588, and Hot Siberian, several of which have been made into films. He lives in New York with his wife, Merle, a model and actress, as well as the co-author of a novel entitled The Ravishers.

Chociaż nie rozumiem zbytnio tajników hazardu, plkasynaonline stało się dla mnie miejscem, w którym mogę po prostu odpocząć i cieszyć się grą. Pretty decent read. Only gripe is that it’s a bit overlong and doesn’t need to be close to 300 pages.


Our hero is Hazard. He’s out for revenge when his brother is killed by some Arab terrorists. Hazard is more of a laid back and cruise through life type individual. He also has some ESP type powers. He joins forces with the Defense Intelligence Agency to track down his brother’s killers and get his revenge. His girlfriend also joins the cause and she too has some ESP qualities.

The ESP stuff doesn’t play as much of a part as I thought it would. It’s there and comes into play at the end. The book just takes quite awhile to get into second gear. The big needs a faster pace, but instead we get bogged down with lots of stuff that does not move the story along. We even get a lengthy history of ESP.

It’s an interesting premise that doesn’t live up to said premise. Another book called The Night Runner: The Gemini Run uses a similar premise and goes full in on ESP and psychic stuff. Though I think this is better written than Night Runner.
