The second book in the series, Also Raised by a Killer, felt more like a setup or background story to me. It seems to be building toward something much bigger in the upcoming books. The story gives more insight into what Alec and Mabel are going through, while also showing what’s happening with Bliss and Pops. Overall, it was an okay read, but not a lot of major action or surprises happened. I’m hoping book three picks up the pace and delivers more excitement.
Obsessed. Loved RBAK series. I can not get enough of Alec. I'd read 10 more about him. Really enjoyed seeing the "softer side" to him and I actually noticed all the nods to D's life in this one. Sea please give us spin off #3!!! 🙏🏻
I hoped the second book would pull me in more than the first, but unfortunately it still missed the mark for me. While there were a few moments that caught my attention, I struggled to stay invested in the story and never really connected with the characters or their journey.
I love these book series. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to release. I definitely recommend only if you have a strong stomach and you like. Which I do for some morbid reason I don’t know 😂 actually, this one didn’t have as much in it, but we got a really good take on Alec side his story, which is really interesting.
This one was just okay. I feel like its building up to bigger things. I did enjoy the jump back in Alecs timeline, and how some of it crossed over with RBAK books. Cant wait for the next one.
5/5, no notes. I love the alternate perspective from interactions before. I love this series! If you haven’t read any of the RBAK series, I highly recommend reading from the beginning.
