IF I COULD GIVE QUINN 20 STARS I WOULD.

This book completely captivated me from the very first page and never once let go. It masterfully blends the irresistible tension of enemies-to-lovers romance with the danger, intrigue, and brutality of the mafia world, creating a story that is as addictive as it is unforgettable. Filled with passion, betrayal, ambition, and heart-stopping power struggles, every chapter pulls you deeper into a world where loyalty is tested, trust is dangerous, and love can become both a weakness and the greatest source of strength.

At its heart, this is so much more than a mafia romance. It's a journey of survival, sacrifice, empire-building, and ultimately, a breathtaking love story. The emotional depth surprised me in the best possible way. Watching these characters fight against their circumstances, their enemies, and even their own feelings made every victory feel earned and every setback hit that much harder.

The chemistry between the main characters is absolutely electric. Their relationship begins with distrust, resentment, and conflicting loyalties, laying the perfect foundation for a slow-burning romance that keeps you on edge. Every encounter is charged with tension, every conversation feels like a battle for control, and every stolen moment leaves you desperate for more. As their walls slowly crumble and vulnerabilities begin to surface, the connection between them becomes impossible to resist. The emotional payoff is worth every moment of anticipation.

The hero is everything I love in a mafia antihero—powerful, ruthless, commanding, and fiercely protective of those he claims as his own. Yet beneath the cold exterior lies a complex man shaped by responsibility, pain, and unwavering determination. He frustrated me, broke my heart, and made me swoon all at the same time. The heroine is equally unforgettable. Strong, intelligent, resilient, and unwilling to be controlled, she stands her ground in a world where weakness is often fatal. Together, they create a dynamic that is explosive, passionate, and impossible to forget.

And then there are Santino, Marco, and Matteo. Every one of these men brought something unique to the story and completely stole pieces of my heart. They are charismatic, dangerous, protective, and undeniably swoon-worthy. Their bonds, loyalties, and individual personalities added so much depth to the story that I found myself invested in every single one of them.

Without question, this is one of the best mafia romances I have read. It delivers action, suspense, emotional turmoil, unforgettable characters, and a romance that burns its way straight into your heart. From kidnapping and survival to building an empire and finding a love worth risking everything for, this story has it all. I was completely immersed from beginning to end, and now I'm counting down the days until Quinn Noir releases Matteo's story. If his book is anything like this one, I already know it's going to be incredible.

A stolen bride falls for the devil who burns her world down.

Aurora has spent her life being told what her future should look like. One reckless night changes everything, and she finds herself caught in the orbit of mafia boss Santino. Dangerous, obsessive, and impossible to ignore, he's the last man she should trust and the one she can't stop thinking about.

Santino built his reputation on control, loyalty, and fear. Grief has hollowed him out, leaving behind a man who takes what he wants and never looks back. Yet Aurora challenges every certainty he has, turning possession into something far more complicated.

As enemies close in and old wounds resurface, Aurora must decide whether freedom means walking away or choosing a future she never expected. Santino, meanwhile, faces the cost of obsession and the consequences of a life built on violence. Together, they confront what love looks like when it grows from chaos instead of safety.

Aurora learns to trust her instincts, claim her choices, and pursue a future she actively wants. Santino begins to understand devotion beyond possession and control. Their connection evolves from dangerous attraction and reluctant captivity into a fiercely loyal partnership where trust and emotional intimacy become just as important as desire.

An ultra-steamy, enemies to lovers, captive romance, morally gray mafia romance filled with obsession, possessiveness, danger, loyalty, and hard-won trust. It explores grief, power, identity, freedom, family expectations, trauma, devotion, and the complicated line between being taken and choosing to stay. It’s about a woman determined to claim her own future, a man forced to confront the cost of his obsession, and a love story forged in chaos that ultimately becomes a choice made by both of them.

The Elevator Pitch: A bride trapped between duty and desire finds her life upended by a dangerous man whose obsession threatens to ignite a war. As old grief, family loyalties, and buried fears collide, what begins as captivity evolves into a battle over choice, trust, and the future they might build together. In a world shaped by violence and devotion, two damaged hearts must decide whether love is a cage or a freedom worth fighting for.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

💋 One stolen kiss. One dead fiancé. One obsessed Devil.

Aurora is only eighteen and a half and about to be forced into marriage, so the only thing she asks for beforehand is one bachelorette party... and we all know how those usually end. 😂 Hers ends with a stolen kiss from a masked stranger. Then that same man kills her fiancé at the altar, kidnaps her, and declares she's his. Wow!!!! 😳

Aurora is witty, stubborn, and I loved her in the first book. She never lets Santino walk all over her. Their banter was so funny and enjoyable. Santino is possessive, ruthless, and completely obsessed with Aurora. After losing his twin brother Angelo four years ago, he wasn't really living, just existing... until Aurora walks into his club. Suddenly, he's willing to risk his life, his empire, his future, even a war, for one completely insane reason: her. He has already chosen her over everything, and he'd paint the city red to keep his little troublemaker safe. 😭

Their chemistry is steamy hot. That first time was shocking, to say the least. 😳 Resentment slowly turns into trust, attraction, and love, and Santino even makes alliances he never would have considered just to get her back. This book is packed with action, family drama, betrayal, secrets, unexpected twists, emotional moments, and plenty of tension.

This is usually an easy five-star read for me, but one thing prevented it: Chiara. If you read The Serpent's Bride (which I highly recommend), expect to hate her fiercely here. I just couldn't overlook that! She knew exactly what it felt like to be forced into a marriage she never wanted, yet she pushed Aurora toward the same fate. I understand she wanted to protect her sister, but come on, Chiara... you of all people should have known better! Thankfully, Santino and Aurora more than made up for it. They deserved their happy ending, and now I'm incredibly curious about Matteo's book.

It seems interesting. Very interesting. 👀😂

Aurora's life is turned upside down when a devil-masked stranger from one reckless night crashes her wedding, kills her fiancé, and takes her for himself. What follows is a dark, dangerous, and addictive journey filled with obsession, loyalty, family conflicts, and a love that refuses to be broken.
I was hooked from the very first chapter and could not put this book down. The chemistry between Aurora and Santino was intense from the start, and every interaction had me completely invested in their story.
Santino was hands down my favorite part of this book. This man was absolutely unhinged, obsessed, possessive, and completely gone for Aurora. He would burn the entire world down if it meant keeping her safe. Beneath all that darkness was a man with a heartbreaking past that honestly made me emotional. The more I learned about him, the more my heart hurt for him. What made me love him even more was how incredibly soft he was with Aurora. He was ruthless, feared, and deadly to everyone else, but with her, he showed a completely different side. Every protective moment, every act of care, and every little glimpse of his softer side had me kicking my feet.
Aurora was strong, stubborn, and never backed down easily. I loved that she challenged Santino instead of simply accepting everything he did.
The romance, obsession, mafia drama, action, and emotional moments were perfectly balanced. I devoured this book and loved every second of it. Santino and Aurora completely stole my heart.
So excited for Matteo book!!

I am giving this book 4 stars solely because I absolutely loved Santino and Aurora as characters. Otherwise, this would have been a 2-star read, if not a 1-star.

Aurora and Santino’s characters were wonderful. Their banter at the beginning was so entertaining, especially with Aurora's sharp wit. The grief and loss Santino experienced was written like a living, breathing thing. It felt so raw that you could almost reach out and touch it. Throughout the entire book, there is this heavy sense of loss, of something that can never be recovered.

⚠️ WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD AND WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE!

Still, Santino and Aurora saved this for me but unfortunately, not entirely.

Quinn Noir is officially one of my all time favorite authors because this book was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Dark, brutal, and overflowing with emotion, this story isn't just about obsession—it's about healing, redemption, and finding light in the darkest corners. Every page pulled me deeper into a world filled with violence, loyalty, and impossible choices, yet at its heart was a love story that felt raw, earned, and unforgettable.

Santino is the kind of morally black hero you can't look away from. Ruthless, feared, and completely unapologetic, he wears the mask of the devil himself, but beneath it is a man carrying years of loneliness and pain. Aurora is every bit his equal—strong-willed, fearless, and never afraid to challenge him. Together they are explosive. Their banter, stubbornness, and undeniable chemistry made every interaction impossible to put down.

The tension was addictive, the spice was incredible, and the emotional depth gave the story so much weight. I loved watching two broken souls become each other's salvation without ever losing who they were individually.

Tropes you can expect:
🖤 Dark Mafia Romance
❤️ Enemies to Lovers
🔥 Morally Black MMC
⛓️ Captive Romance
💀 Obsession & Possessiveness
🩸 Sin, Redemption & Salvation
⚔️ Touch Her and Die
🌶️ Ultra Steamy
🖤 Fierce, Strong FMC
✨ Healing Through Love

Overall rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️

Looking forward to Matteo's story next

The Devil’s Bride completely pulled me in! Santino was everything I want in an obsessive antihero absolutely unhinged, fiercely possessive, and utterly obsessed with his woman before he even knew her name. That level of “you’re mine” energy was exactly what I signed up for, and Quinn Noir delivered it so well.

One of the moments that really sold his character for me was when he killed her fiancé simply because he couldn’t stand the thought of another man having her. It was shocking, ruthless, and perfectly fit the dark, morally gray world of the story. If you’re into fictional obsessive, dangerous MMCs, Santino definitely delivers.

The chemistry between the main characters was intense, the romance kept me hooked, and I flew through the book.

The only reason this wasn’t a full 5 stars for me is that, at times, some thoughts and conversations felt a bit repetitive. A few of the internal monologues covered the same emotions more than once, which slowed the pacing slightly.

I just love them 🫶🏼
Her: “I would rather die than be you”
Him: “you say the sweetest things”

Her: “I should do many things. Run away. Call the police. Develop better taste in men.”
Him: “that last one would be tragic for me.”.

🖤 my review for The Devil's Bride 🖤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶,5

I absolutely adore this series!! The books are phenomenal and so addictive it's insane!! This book is just as fantastic as book one in the series called The Serpent's Bride. I completely devoured this one just as I did with the first one.

I loved everything about this book! The writing is flawless and so beautifully crafted, the story is so easy to follow and every single page brings something to the story. It's highly captivating and completely unputdownable. A perfect mafia book in every sense of the word!

The MMC in the book Santino is definitely one of my favourite male characters! I felt so incredibly sorry for him and I certainly couldn't hold back the tears reading about him and his brother Angelo. He was a character you just instantly liked. A typical mafia guy of course! Protective, took what he wanted, has a soft spot for the FMC. And the spice was hot!!

The banter was so entertaining both between the MCs but also between Santino and Marco.

Aurora was such a wonderful FMC. Sweet but wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Feisty when needed but caring and understanding in situations that required it.

Thank you once again Quinn for letting me read your fantastic mafia books!!! 😍

This book was full of the thoughts of each of the protagonists and not as much danger, although there was some. Two people, Aurora, a bride marrying a man old enough to be her father against her will and the other, Santino, brother of her brother-in-law sees her and attends the wedding just to kill the groom and make off with the bride.

Even though she was unhappy with her groom, being stolen and told she is being kept makes her steaming mad. She is tired of others telling her what to do!!!

But Santino does nothing to force her or hurt her. He says he was saving her from an unhappy marriage. She just wants to leave and do what she wants to do. Plus, she does not want Santino's actions to start a Mafia war between brothers.

This book goes deep into the thoughts and feelings of each of the main protagonists as they get to know one another. Both want to deny what is growing between them and they are pretty good at doing this. I enjoyed reading and following their development as well as the exciting ending when the enemies of Santino come for them both.

It is well worth the time to read. Pick it up.

Book: The Devil’s Bride
Author: Quinn Noir
Pages: 332
Series: Yes {Villains & Brides Series} book 2
Rating: 5/5
Spice: 3/5 {13, 14, 17, 18, 25}

🖤 Enemies to Lovers
🖤 Protective Psychopath
🖤 Virgin FMC
🖤 Soft only for her
🖤 Praise
🖤 Breeding Kink
🖤 Burns the World for her
🖤 Jealous/Possessive Mafia Villain

✨ Dedication: To those who choose the devil over Prince Charming ✨

Aurora is being forced into a marriage she does not want to help “keep her safe” and she wants no part of that! She goes out for her bachelorette party where she meets a man in a devil mask and kisses him.

The man in the devil mask just happens to be the same man that shows up to her wedding, takes out her groom, and kidnaps her.

Santino Moretti wants revenge but the more time he spends with Aurora he wonders if that’s what he really wants.

This book gave me all the feels and I love their back and forth banter!!

“Quotes”

“Tell me something, Aurora. While your poor fiancé was reciting his vows…” My gaze dragged slowly over her face. “Were you thinking about him? Or were you thinking about the man in the devil mask?”

"They suit you," he said voice dropping into that dangerous register that made my knees weak. "Diamonds and defiance. My favorite fucking combination."

Santino Had Me Loving Every Red Flag!

Aurora and Santino had me hooked from the very first page of "The Devil's Bride" . That prologue immediately sets the tone with obsession, violence, and just chaos, and I knew I was in for one wild ride. Besties... Santino is completely unhinged, and somehow that only made me love his character more. The way his grief over losing his twin brother adds another layer beneath all those 🚩🚩🚩 made him surprisingly easy to root for.

The chemistry between Aurora and Santino is absolutely explosive. Their banter had me laughing just as much as the tension had me holding my breath, and those spicy moments DEFINITELY delivered. Uhhh... Santino has a filthy mouth and his dirty talk... HOT AF! 🥵

🥰LOVED: Bruno ~ scene stealer. Matteo ~ hilarious!

😒ANNOYED: Aurora constantly wandering off alone! Knowing full well someone was after her!

😳WHOA: That plot twist! And don't get me started on Sergio!

Still, this mafia romance packed suspense, emotion, humor, and heat into one addictive story. I cannot wait for Matteo's book!

ARC Review, thx Quinn Noir

The second book in the series is once again beautifully written, with great attention to detail—perhaps even a bit too much at times. The "enemies-to-lovers" trope is executed with real emotional depth.
After a forbidden kiss, Santino is so captivated by Aurora that he crashes her upcoming wedding and kidnaps her. During her time at Santino’s house, the extent to which his twin brother’s death haunts him is gradually revealed. Despite this, he tries to grow closer to Aurora and win her over. Naturally, this period is disrupted by enemies, and various obstacles must be overcome. The storyline is multi-layered, allowing the reader to become deeply invested and even shed a few tears.
Personally, I found the turn of events regarding Sergio a bit unfortunate, given that he had always been good to Aurora, but this is a central plot point of the book.
I was also annoyed that Chiara forced her sister into the marriage with Sergio; she, of all people, should have understood the impact such a thing has on a person—especially since Aurora had begged her countless times not to do that to her.
Highly recommended.

The devil you know by MeemsAngel82

This was so good! Exciting and kept my attention. The characters were fleshed out and I love continuity and this book definitely had that. While this can definitely be read as a standalone, there is a book one about her sister that was excellent. I ended up loving this H and the h was good for him.

He stole the bride and kept her.

He had every right to be man, too what he did considering this is the mafia world and they deal in death and violence. She did what she could and when it came down to it their chemistry was there and they understood one another. They are really steamy together and there is such a shock towards the and of the book. Now I still stand by this, for me, I wanted her with her brother's man. His friend and the constant that was in the first book. Making her and him a pair was teased at the end of that book and I was so happy about that. I read about this book and who she ended up with and had to read it because it is still so good. I just wished the H was the man we knew from before.

This is the second book in the series but can easily be read as a standalone.

Santino Moretti is nicknamed the Devil and he is quick to act like the devil too, especially after the darkness his life descended into after the death of his twin brother, Angelo.

Aurora is 18 and has been betrothed by her brother-in-law to marry Sergio, his right hand man. This is the last thing she wants to do and as an act of rebellion goes out on a bachelorette party to have some fun before the wedding.

She goes into a club, which she thinks is a nightclub. How wrong can she be?? It's actually an upmarket sex club owned by Santino.

Her friends leave her to explore the club and she ends up talking to Santino - neither of them knew each other's name. They end up going to a private room in the club and only kissed - but very passionately.

Neither of them can stop thinking about the other one, but Aurora's wedding goes ahead. During the service, when the priest asks if anyone objects, Santino stands up and says he does.

Their story develops as Aurora feels initially trapped, scared and attracted all at the same time.

A gripping story which made me kept turning the pages.

The Devil's Bride by Quinn Noir was quite the read! I was not expecting the MMC to be the man he was, especially coming from the prior book. I truly believed that I would be reading a story about Aurora and Sergio, but that's not how Ms. Noir wanted things. Santino Moretti was a beautifully scarred man, or at least until Aurora. After Aurora, he was a beautifully healed man, and I loved every bit of it! Great job, Quinn, and congratulations on your release!

Santino is my favorite so far! His story was just so different and unlike Leo's. Don't get me wrong, it was similar as well, but the dynamic between Santino and losing his other half was something I wasn't anticipating. It was nice to see how Aurora handled Santino in those moments of grief. It was clear that Aurora was young because she acted like it at times, but bravo to Ms. Noir for being able to capture that. Other than Aurora's young ignorance and need for independence (that was very persistent, lol), she was something fierce! I appreciate her personality, and look forward to seeing her in future books. Again, great job, Quinn. Thanks for the amazing read!

If I could give 10 stars for this book, I would!! It is the second book in the Villians & Brides series and follows on from the first book 'The Serpent's bride' with one of the Chiara's younger siblings (from the first book) Aurora kidnapped on her wedding day after her fiance Sergio is murdered.

Aurora is kidnapped by Santiano who meets Aurora by accident at his club a couple of weeks earlier and cannot get her out of his mind.Santiano takes Aurora back to his home and from there, the storyline really kicks in with their emotions, passion for each other spills out. Santiano has a complicated family and has been drifting for the past 4 years since his twin Angelo was murdered.

They are being attacked on all sides by people who do not want them together. There is a twist I did not see coming but it is a good twist. The spice in this book is super hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I couldn't put the book down and read it in one sitting!

I cannot wait for the next book in the series about another sibling Matteo!

We have Aurora, searching for her own identity, for freedom and autonomy, while on the other side we have Santino, still clinging to the past, to the memories of his twin brother. He lives in constant conflict, caught between intense resentment and a thirst for revenge.

What begins as a struggle for survival and freedom quickly transforms into a dangerous game of seduction, where the lines blur from the very beginning. From their first encounter, Santino's obsession with Aurora is so strong that it completely consumes you, trapping and captivating you.
It was a bit strange to read how Leo and Chiara were a little harsh or more "strict" in this story (that's how I felt at first), but this will gradually change as the plot unfolds.

What also surprised me greatly was how the villain became the protagonist; it was strangely captivating and completely changed my perspective from when I read the first book, and I think I absolutely loved it. It's a story full of shadows from the past, pain, and dangerous pacts.

It's a sensual, addictive, erotic, passionate, and beautifully dark read.

Combines the irresistible tension of enemies-to-lovers with the danger and intrigue of the criminal underworld. Filled with passion, betrayal, and power struggles, this story keeps readers hooked from the first chapter to the last.

The chemistry between the main characters is electric. Their relationship begins with distrust, resentment, and conflicting loyalties, creating the perfect foundation for a slow-burning romance. Every interaction crackles with tension as they battle for control while fighting the undeniable attraction growing between them. Watching their walls slowly come down is one of the most rewarding aspects of the story.

The hero is a classic mafia antihero powerful, ruthless, and fiercely protective of what he considers his. Beneath his intimidating exterior lies surprising depth, making him both frustrating and impossible not to love. The heroine is equally compelling, bringing strength, intelligence, and determination to a world where weakness can be deadly.

The Devils Bride by Quinn Noir was another entertaining mafia romance with plenty of tension, danger, and spice. The enemies-to-lovers relationship kept me hooked, and I loved watching the two main characters go from fighting each other to giving in to the chemistry they couldn't ignore.

The mafia world added lots of suspense with family loyalty, secrets, and power struggles woven throughout the story. There was enough action to keep the plot moving, while the romance brought all the emotional and steamy moments I was hoping for. The banter between the main characters made their relationship even more enjoyable, and the chemistry definitely didn't disappoint.

If you like dark mafia romances with strong-willed characters, forced proximity, lots of tension, and a good amount of spice, this one is definitely worth picking up. It was a fun, fast read that kept me turning the pages to see how everything would play out.

Oh. My. Lord.

When I read at the end of The Serpent's Bride that Aurora was going to be involved with Santino I had my doubts of how this was going to work out... and Quinn shut me up by the prologue.

Aurora is feisty, has her very own opinions and doesn't stop for anyone to give them... and then you remember she's only eighteen and you get it when she gets this curiosity for hee new world, and that confussion at her feelings.

And Santino? I just loved him. From his monster side, and how ruthless and cold he could be when he's dealing with the enemy, to that human side that grieves the lost of his brother and disguises it with that playful persona (because I promise, there where conversations of him that made me smirk), and going to that overprotective side that grew in him when he met Aurora... and the dirty talk?? Yu-mmy.

I'm really enjoying these books; the plot, characters , the banter between them, the found family, the emotions... so good.

Aurora is being forced into an arranged marriage by her sister and BIL to his second-in-command. Her sister says it’s to keep her safe, but all Aurora wants is to have freedom from the mafia. She meets Santino, “the Devil,” at a club on her bachelorette party. They kiss.

Santino lost his twin years ago, killed by Leo, Aurora’s BIL. His death broke him, and he struggles to feel anything. When he kisses Aurora, feelings start coming back. He decides to take her on her wedding day, killing her fiancée.

I really enjoyed this book, Santino had my heart breaking for him. All the things he lost, but he still gave Aurora choices; he didn’t force her into anything. Aurora is feisty, stubborn, and knows how to ride a motorcycle. Not the typical mafia princess. Her sister really irked me; she kept saying she was trying to keep her safe by arranging her marriage. Great story.

I enjoyed Santino & Aurora's story...

Aurora was going to marry who she was told to... when Santino killed her fiancé (at their wedding) & took her home with him... it makes sense it would take her a bit to warm up to him. :)

I enjoyed their interaction... and their story of falling for each other.

The book is fast paced with action as well as banter & a bit of spice...

This is Book 2 in the Villains & Brides series, as interconnected standalones. I have not read Book 1 yet, but I look forward to reading it!

Spice level: 3/5

*Dark mafia romance
*morally grey MMC
*enemies to lovers
*romantic suspense
*age gap
*masked man
*instalove, he falls first
*standalone
*ends with a HEA

I was really looking forward to Aurora. She was introduced to us in the previous story and with great grace 🤭 yes, and here she was very annoying. At least from the beginning.

The devil - Santini - was really exceptional, actually, all the men from this writer are very... devilish, dangerous and sexy.

But I have to say that they worked together. The chemistry was just burning.
Just like in the previous part, the plot is wonderfully written and elaborated, as are all the characters, even the secondary ones.

They all won my heart immediately. Probably one of the best-written mafia series. It's not exactly dark, but MMC are definitely morally gray and that doesn't matter at all, quite the opposite.

A very good read, which I will be very happy to continue....

Ok. Was hooked by the end of the prologue. Read the 1st book as an ARC and was graced with a chance to read this one before release as well. Quinn Noir does not disappoint. I absolutely loved "The Serpent's Bride" and the characters that were introduced and was excited to read Aurora and Sergio's story in this book. Plot twist and this story is totally flipped and what it becomes is something so intriguing you can't help but dive into the drama.
Oh Aurora and her no filter and total lack of self preservation I absolutely love her character. Santino what can I say just damn. 🔥🥵. The love that comes from the trama and the toxic environment of their mafia world really is something beautiful. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I really cannot say enough about this author and her stories other than you should definitely take the time to read these books.

She wasn’t marrying by choice so the night of her bachelorette party she did something reckless and kissed a stranger. Only that stranger wasn’t a stranger. He was an enemy of her family, and he showed up at her wedding, killed her fiancé and stole her away.. He has been waiting for his revenge and when it falls in his lap, he is determined to take it and that means taking her. This book has a long and twisted mafia family drama arc that is definitely the focus of this story. The romance weaves into it and they have strong chemistry, high heat, tension, and steamy spice, however, ultimately, this feels more like a mafia story than a romance story given its length and the focus on the drama arc. You still get your steam and you’re happily ever after but it’s gonna take you for a ride first.

I knew my feelings were gonna be hurt with this one but I didn't know how much. I actually really liked Sergio. He was done so dirty here. 😒

But! That doesn't take away from Aurora and Santino's story.

One night of freedom, led to little games, light banter and a kiss that rearranged both their lives. Aurora still has that fire you know and love. Grown men would back down from The Devils game, yet she chooses to challenge him and see all the things he wishes to hide.

Santino, is man brewing in loneliness over. Aurora's ability to make him truly laugh was what I'm sure ensnared him and set him on a path of utter destruction. He is a man willing to start wars over a woman and honestly, I'd be surprised if Aurora didn't end up with tracker inside her. 🤣

I loved this book. It was easy to lost yourself into story because the characters were intriguing and the story wasn’t dragging in an annoying way. I absolutely loved Aurora’s wit and remarks and how good she was with Santino. And Santino. What could I say? I was already falling from him in the first meeting we got. He is a bit rough around edges, as obsessive as they come with that touch her and die attitude. Character growth could be seen which was good to solidify the fragile but blooming relationship.

The descriptions of surroundings were sometimes a bit redundant and overly done, but otherwise, the flow and style were amazing.

Absolutely a 5⭐️ read! I loved the first book and I didn’t think this book would top that, but it did. The vibe was so much different. Yes it was a kidnapping trope, but it felt more like Santino wanted to show her that she can be free and there is more to life than what she was given. Buttttt she technically still was a prisoner lol I know it sounds confusing, but you really need to read the book to get it. Santino’s character was so interesting and there were different layers to him. I really really loved him. And Aurora was such a perfect match for him. There were times I wanted to yell at her for going back and forth in her mind about him lol The plot was super easy to follow and was a great read. Spice was good too, even ratio to plot. I’m beyond excited for the next book!

Ok, I was really hoping this author didn't fall to the sophomore jinx and she didn't. It's a delicious dark dark - both business and romance. The issue is a total about face of two characters. After Chiara's father using her and her siblings as commodities in book one, Chiara would never deliberately force her sister into a marriage as the original one planned for Aurora. The other character was Sergio, who was Leo's right hand. The Sergio in book one would never act like the one in book two. It was very difficult to reconcile the differences.

Aurora and Santino were great together much like Leo and Chiara. The inconsistencies hurt the storyline especially for those who read book one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book 2 of Villains & Brides. Can be read as a standalone.

'Then the devil himself, Santino Moretti, took me with him.
Made me his captive.
And put a baby in me.
My family wants revenge.
But Santino won’t let me go. Even if it means starting a war, he will do it just to keep me.'

The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy the read!.
