It's always a good day for a trip back to Bordeaux! I loved reading this novella. It's short, and sweet. This one made me chuckle and sigh with happiness. I loved it so much!
This one features Angie and EJ. Angie works at the Dippity Doo salon. She's a single mother of twins. Those boys give her a run for her money. They definitely made me laugh so many times. I loved watching Angie with her boys, it was obvious that they were a huge part of her life, as they should be.
EJ is one of the firefighters in Bordeaux. I loved that he was willing to work hard for Angie to give him a chance. I also loved that he wasn't concerned when the folks of Bordeaux gossip, as the folks of Bordeaux do. He just let Angie know that he was there for her, and it didn't matter what they said.
Bordeaux is such a hilarious town. This one takes place during Bordeaux Days, and it made me want to go so badly.
This one is a perfect read for this time of year. It's a cute, quick, quirky story. Grab yours today!
What a cute story! I loved returning to Bordeaux and reading Angie and EJ’s story. Angie was so fun and felt so real. She was focused on her boys and was unsure about bringing someone else in. She was such a good mom and I loved her relationship with her own mom. ANgie had such a sweet family and i loved her care for them. EJ was a sweetheart! I loved his care and genuineness. He really liked Angie and wanted to be a part of her life. They were adorable together and I loved EJ’s practical care for her and the boys. This is a novella, so the story moved along pretty quickly, but it was a cute read. I loved getting back into the town and all the quirky characters. It was so fun to see all the ladies at the hair salon and I loved the seniors in town! They always provide so much character to the world and such funny antics. This small town romcom has only kisses. I received an ARC.
This was such a sweet Novella. I loved E.J’s golden retriever energy and how he was so mature in his perusing of Angie but also showing himself fully aware of what it meant to be willing and ready to date a single mom and live her kids. As a “Shipper” I have to admit my most favourite parts of this Novella was being back in Bordeaux withal all our favorite characters from the “Getting Shipped” series. I loved the alternate views of small events that took place during the timeline of CensorShipped. All in all a great novella!
Thanks to the author for an advanced review copy. All thoughts are my own.
This kisses only novella is adjacent to the Getting Shipped series. It actually takes place in the middle of that series. It can be read as a standalone. There are townspeople from Bordeaux that do show up, but you won't be lost if you haven't read the other series.
As the mayor of Bordeaux, I am excited every time we get to visit my town again. This novella ended a little abruptly for my tastes. I would have loved another chapter before the epilogue. But overall, my Getting Shipped heart was happy!
I did get the opportunity to read an advanced digital copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
