An awesome anthology with a little bit for everyone

London omega: an omegaverse with a strong female omega who knows who and what she wants! I love the snark and wit of Aster. The scene where Colt reprimanded the alphas by swatting his nose with newspaper -- hilarious!

Dehumanized: this is a psychological mind thriller that focuses on CNC and Halloween/horror themes but in a non-psychopathic way. A good intro to darker romance without being too dark.

Don't feed the cats: a wonderfully sensual story of three cursed men and the woman who stumbled on their home when trying to get away from the stress of her everyday life. A great story but the twist at the end was a bit unexpected

Knot theirs: a sweet teaser story of a ballet dancer omega and a pair of twin alphas from the wrong side of the track. It's spicy and intriguing and I need more!

Beauty and the beasts of blackwood Manor: Honestly this one was a little bit weird for me. It's a beauty and the beast retelling but without the real beast it's more what if the side characters were the main characters. It's listed as a dark romance but honestly I would just call this a Dubcon/Stockholm syndrome story.

The hollow king: I skipped this one because of the trigger warnings so can't comment on it.

Sweet dreams and midnight howls: a short and sweet fated mates/werewolf story that goes zero to one hundred and I couldn't love it more

A sex demon, me, and TalkTPG: this story is very short but funny and steamy in equal measures. Makes me want to read more of this shared world

Blissful Halloween: a spicy short interlude between a stripper and her assassin other half. Spicy and short and to the point

Something unholy: I also skipped this because of content warnings

My masked fantasy: a forbidden stepbrother romance that I can't help but want more of their story.

This review is for Beauty and the Beasts of Blackwood Manor. I absolutely love Crystal North’s books so already I felt I was going to love it. Crystal has a way of keeping you captivated from beginning to end and this was no different.

This short story was wonderfully creepy but yet oddly romantic in a way. This story we meet Arabella who has taken on the temporary job as caretaker for the Blackwood Manor. But this house is not as it seems.

Atticus is the grandfather clock. He’s the time keeper. He controls the schedule, regulates breathing, etc. he is self important and you’ll notice that a lot throughout this story. He has the confidence of a man who believes the entire house runs in his schedule, which apparently it does. He’s a grandfather clock with a god complex. Lucien is the fireplace or rather he’s the fire. He’s got golden retriever energy written all over him. He’s playful and energetic and his subtlety level is basically zero. Silas is the bed and he’s control-oriented, possessive. Using the bedsheets around Arabella is his way of flirting and claiming ownership because only a bed would think of the occupant as theirs because if they lay on the mattress constitutes as legally binding. Dorian is the mirror. He’s observant and analytical. Extremely voyeuristic because hello, he’s a mirror. He’s smug and self-assured and sees all and knows everyone’s business.

I really wish there was more to this because I still have questions. But really enjoyed the story nonetheless.

London Omega By Jac Franklin

The story is a very intriguing story. We meet our characters in an unusual and unexpected way. The quickly evolving and moving due to the distasteful actions of others. But I love how they all come together and help each other out. It was a fantastic read and didn’t disappoint.

Don’t Feed the Cats By Maddison Cole

Oh this one was different. I quickly like Sydney and her beautiful personality. The “cats” have these personalities that definitely grabs your attention. At times you can feel her loneliness and pain that projects when no one else sees it. The story is well written and definitely a fantastic read. It definitely ends differently than I thought it would.

A Sex Demon, Me, and TalkTPG By K. L. Thorne

This was a quick M/M read. It had some funny moments that had me laughing out loud. The story was well written and a very interesting read. It is definitely worth reading.

Blissful Halloween By Katherine Isaac

While this one wasn’t one I normally would read I have to say it was a well written fun read. Birthday on Halloween, partner normally there is out. Only for it to turn into something totally unexpected. There is a lot going on very quickly and definitely a great read

What a great, varied collection of stories this was. From sweet to dark, there is something for everyone!
Loved Don't Feed The Cats by Maddison Cole, 3 cursed guys who are cats for most of the year but if you feed them at the right time they become 3 sexy guys who are touch starved and will fulfil all your fantasies.
Another short and sweet one was Blissful Halloween by Katherine Isaac, having a birthday on Halloween can be fun as it feels like everyone is celebrating with you, but when your partner is away it's not so fun so you need to make alternative arrangements. But sometimes things don't go the way you expected them to!
A Sex Demon, Me and TalkTPG was fun, summoning a demon had unexpected consequences for Josh leading to him questioning what he thought he knew about himself.
Also enjoyed Sweet Dreams & Midnight Howls by Michelle Dups, after an abrupt ending to her previous relationship Lily is looking for a fun Halloween getaway, what she gets changes her life completely!

I'm dying to dive into this whole Anthology because from this list of writers that I've heard of and some that I haven't I'm intrigued to read all of the book now. Only I haven't started reading them yet so this review is only for

Beauty and the Beasts of Blackwood Manor by Crystal North
This book gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes (which I think was the point). Arabella (FMC) takes on a job as a caretaker looking after Blackwood Manor. A house that is full of secrets. A clock (Atticus) that kept everyone in check, A fireplace (Lucien) that brought on all sorts of heat (pun intended), A bed (Silas) that brought on all kinds of seduction, (If a bed could do all that) and A man in the mirror (Dorian) who had a love of watching Arabella.

This book completely drew me in and when I finished reading it. My only criticism was that I wanted to read more from all of them. I'm hoping that we get a full book at some point in the future.

I had a really good time with this anthology! I love being able to jump into a bunch of different stories and get a mix of characters, romances, and spooky vibes all in one place.

These were my favorites:

London Omega — Jac Franklin
⭐⭐⭐.75

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Aster and her three Alphas. There's something so satisfying about an independent Omega finding people who want to take care of her without taking away her independence.

Don't Feed the Cats — Maddison Cole
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

Honestly, what's not to love about three hotties who turn into adorable kitties three days a year?! Emrys, Aeron, and Cai's chemistry with Sydney was off the charts hot, and I loved every minute of this fun, spicy read.

Knot Theirs — Alice La Roux
⭐⭐⭐⭐

A masked Devil and his angel twin having some filthy fun with a very naughty witch?! Yes, please.

I love when an author you love to read joins in with an anthology because I get to read authors I haven't read before and I loved every second of this. I loved the spooky Halloween kind of feels to this one aswell. I have definitely now found some more authors I need to read.
I especially loved crystal norths beauty and the beast retelling and this was like nothing I've read before. I loved every second of it. It was so good and I'm hoping we see more from them all in the future. I was completely gripped on Arabella and the beasts of Blackwood Manor.
What i love most about an anthology aswell is you can read as many of the stories together or individually depending on how much time you have. Also please read the TW because some of these are on the darker side.

Beauty and the Beasts of Blackwood Manor by Crystal North.

Dark monster romance
Why choose
Haunted house
Cursed magic
Morally grey characters

Arabella Hart takes on a job looking after Blackwood Manor.

The warning when she enters - Don’t remain inside the manor after midnight on Halloween.

Meeting the guys - Atticus is the ticking clock. He keeps everything together.
Lucien is fire. Dorian the mirror & Silas is the bed sheets. Each of them are unique in their own way.

Loved the short story and kept me wanting more with each page. Anything by Crystal North I enjoy reading.

This was such a terrific anthology. I loved reading the new to me authors, as well as some of my favorite authors too.

I really enjoyed Beauty and The Beasts of Blackwood Manor, which is a Beauty and the Beast retelling where the manor literally has a few minds of its own. It is a dark, why choose romance with morally grey characters. This was a very unique, spooky, and intriguing story that kept me entranced throughout. The characters were very interesting and I loved them all.

Overall I really enjoyed this anthology and its amazing short stories.

Something wicked is a bice treat of short stories or beginnings just in timw for Halloween.
Don't Feed The Cats by Maddison cole is a sweet story of cursed men into cats and a romance to feel.

The Hollow King by Bailey Grayson is another favorite. If you enjoy a mom romance with a gothis theme you will enjoy this.
Blissful Halloween by Katherine Isaac is another very short read for Trinity and a night to remember.

Very wicked

Beauty and the Beasts of Blackwood Manor was the story that caught my attention in this collection of wicked stories from this great group of authors.

I love a twist to a classic tale. Giving Beauty and the Beast a RH view to it was so good. I like that this Beauty didn't have to choose.

But I was happy that this story pulled me into this anthology and gave me a chance to explore a bunch of authors and indulge in a ton of new stories to get me in the Halloween spirit.

I really enjoyed reading this anthology. all the short stories. I flew through the book. This book has multiple short stories by various different authors. I love that all the proceeds to this book is going to an amazing cause. I really hope that this book is also released into a physical copy because I would live to add it to my library. This book is a little spooky, lots if spice and some HEA.

I enjoyed most of the stories in this mix up. Halloween is one of my favorites and reading all these different things that can happen on Halloween was amazing. A vampire that was cursed and needs help, a house that needs a keeper, to wolves finding their mates and Sexy demons being summoned. What a mix up and well worth the read. Even if one or 2 might not be something you would read you can read the rest!!!!

Beauty and the Beasts by Crystal North
This was a quick and captivating read!
From beginning to end, I was eagerly turning each page wondering what was coming.
Arabella's story was quite unique too. There was definitely some mystery to it. The ending was perfect. I would love to get more of a story from her and the beasts of Blackwood Manor.

I’ve only read Beauty and the Beasts of Blackwood Manor by Crystal North so far.
This was creepy, but also sensual. I loved the idea of the house reacting to her, sentience becoming sexy.
The tension, the longing from both sides for different reasons.
The writing was beautifully evocative and the ending left it open to interpretation
