Mirror Lake #2

Knot A Problem

Ally Winchester is a rare female alpha who has been with her mate Wyatt James since they were in high school. Neither of them cares that a bonded alpha pair is rare and not as strong as an alpha-omega pairing, they’ve always known they were true mates and they’re happy with their relationship as it is.

While Wyatt investigates the drug ring in Mirror Lake and the recent arson case in Crescent River, Ally keeps serving the local crowd at her bar until one night, a wounded omega shows up in need of help.

Gemma Cruz is injured, on the run, and doesn’t trust a soul. Despite her guarded demeanor, Gemma instantly connects with Ally, and Ally’s alpha instinct to protect Gemma is unlike anything she’s ever experienced before. Wyatt, on the other hand, doesn’t know how to feel about taking in the primary suspect in his investigations.

Before they know it, Ally and Wyatt are hiding Gemma as the connection between the three of them continues to grow and Wyatt tries to piece together what’s happening and who he can trust. Gemma’s presence in their lives makes it clear that not all fated mates are couples, and perhaps a piece of Ally and Wyatt’s fate was always missing before now.

In order to explore their new relationship dynamic, they need to clear Gemma’s name and avoid getting caught in the crosshairs of Vargkung as he spirals out of control, going to great lengths to cover his tracks, and risking his own exposure.

I’m still screaming about this book…

Ally Winchester is part of a rare bonded alpha pair with her high school sweetheart, Wyatt James. While their bond isn’t as strong as an alpha-omega pairing, they know they are true mates and have built a great life in Mirror Lake.

Following the events of Knot a Chance, Gemma Cruz is on the run. When she stumbles into Ally, a rare female alpha, the connection is immediate and intense. Gemma, the omega, is Ally’s true mate.

Ally's alpha instincts kick in, and she brings Gemma home with her. Intrigued by the omega, Wyatt’s only concern is that, as the town’s sheriff, taking her in may mean they are harboring a fugitive. Can they uncover the larger truth as they explore the connection rapidly growing between the three of them?

Ally was such a great character in the first book, and while they were an alpha/alpha pair, her relationship with Wyatt felt like endgame. I am so glad that we got to see a lot of Ally and Wyatt’s dynamic in book one, as it gave us insight into how they would navigate Gemma’s presence. Wyatt loves Ally with quiet confidence and knows that nothing can shake their bond.

I appreciated that while hesitant and guarded, Gemma could hold her own against Ally and Wyatt. Her combination of sass and sweetness made her the perfect third. Dani Grimes did an amazing job letting the new relationships develop at their own pace, while also keeping the commitment of the established partnership at the heart of the path forward.

And the suspense part! I came off book one with a strong theory about Vargkung. However, my reading notes for Knot a Problem are filled with “I was right!” and “Nope. I was wrong.”

The series cliffhanger was intense, and book 3 is going to be explosive. I can’t wait!

Wow, this series gets better and better. This is the second book in the Mirror Lake series. The main focus is on Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma. Ally and Wyatt, both Alphas, are true mates..They were introduced in the first book; Ally owns a bar in Mirror Lake, and Wyatt serves as the town's sheriff. One night Ally runs into Gemma who is on the run escaping her abusive father. This book continues the story of the underground drug lord. Gemma becomes entangled in it as a result of her father. Ally and Wyatt feel connected to Gemma and choose to protect her.

It was wonderful to witness a new protective side of Ally. She was more than just the "bitchy" Alpha everyone believed her to be. Wyatt is extremely devoted and caring. Seeing more of the bond between him and Ally was something I loved. Gemma was a great addition to their dynamic. I loved how sassy and funny she was. This book was very spicy.

Fans who're into Omegaverse stories with a bit of mystery will love this one.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm totally hooked on this series. OMG!! The ending! Really looking forward to reading the next book!

This was such a great story. I loved that Ally and Wyatt were so secure in their relationship. Even though both of them being alphas was a weaker pairing than an omega and alpha. Then Ally finds Gemma. An omega scared and on the run. She takes her to stay with her and Wyatt while they figure things out, but the pull she has towards Gemma was awesome. I absolutely loved their dynamic. These three together created such a strong bond. I loved reading this and seeing the way these three grew together.

After finishing Knot A Problem, I can confidently say this series is getting stronger with every book. What started as an intriguing omegaverse world has evolved into something much deeper, blending romance, suspense, healing, and found family into a story that completely hooked me from beginning to end.

One of my favorite things about this book was how different it felt from a typical mate story. Instead of starting with strangers finding each other, we begin with Ally and Wyatt, two bonded alphas who have already spent years building a life together. Their relationship is solid, loving, and unwavering from the very first page. There was never any question about how much they cared for each other, and honestly, that made everything that followed even more compelling.

Then Gemma enters the picture.

When we first meet her, she's battered, terrified, and carrying the weight of things no one should have to endure alone. Watching Ally immediately go into protective mode felt so natural. From the moment these two meet, there's an undeniable connection, and Ally's instincts make it impossible for her to walk away. That protective streak quickly became one of my favorite parts of the book.

Gemma absolutely broke my heart.

Underneath all her fear and hesitation is a woman who desperately wants a place where she can finally feel safe. She spends so much of the story waiting for the other shoe to drop, convinced she doesn't belong anywhere, and watching her slowly learn to trust Ally and Wyatt was incredibly rewarding. Her healing journey felt authentic and emotional without ever becoming overwhelming.

What I appreciated most was that the relationship didn't instantly click into place. Ally feels drawn to Gemma almost immediately, but Wyatt is far more cautious. Given everything happening around them, especially with his ongoing investigation, his hesitation made perfect sense. It gave the relationship room to develop naturally rather than relying solely on the mate-bond connection.

And honestly, Wyatt completely won me over.

His patience with Gemma was beautiful. He never pushes her, never demands more than she's ready to give, and consistently prioritizes her comfort and safety. It's easy to write protective characters, but Dani does an excellent job of making Wyatt protective without crossing into possessive territory that takes away Gemma's agency.

The emotional side of the romance was fantastic, but I also loved the suspense woven throughout the story.

The ongoing investigation into the drug ring and larger criminal activity continues to develop, and this book expands that storyline in interesting ways. Gemma's connection to everything happening raises even more questions, and I found myself just as invested in uncovering those answers as I was in the romance itself. Every time I thought I understood where things were headed, new information would surface and completely change the game.

That's probably what surprised me most about this series overall. For an omegaverse romance, the plot feels substantial. The mystery, danger, and larger world-building aren't just background noise. They actively influence the relationships and character decisions, which keeps the story feeling layered and engaging.

The found-family dynamic also continues to be one of the strongest parts of the series. I loved seeing familiar faces again and watching how quickly people rallied around Gemma once she became part of the group. Those moments of support and acceptance made some of the more emotional scenes hit even harder.

And yes, the spice absolutely delivers.

The chemistry between Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma is intense, but what worked for me was how much emotional trust exists beneath the physical connection. Every step of their relationship felt earned because Dani takes the time to build intimacy beyond attraction.

But honestly, what stuck with me most was the central idea that sometimes fate doesn't come in the shape we expect.

Knot A Problem explores the idea that love doesn't have to fit neatly into traditional expectations. Watching Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma figure out what their bond means and how they fit together was one of the most satisfying parts of the entire story.

And then there was that ending.

Let's just say I immediately needed the next book.

The answers we do get are satisfying, but there are still enough questions left hanging that I'm already counting down until the next installment.

If you enjoy: ✨ Omegaverse romance
🖤 Established couples finding their missing piece
💕 FFM relationships
🏡 Found family dynamics
🔥 Protective mates
🩹 Emotional healing journeys
🔎 Mystery and suspense subplots
❤️ Strong character development
⚡ High chemistry and slow-earned trust

...then Knot A Problem should absolutely be on your TBR.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Emotional, suspenseful, and full of heart, Knot A Problem delivers far more than a romance. It's a story about trust, belonging, healing from trauma, and discovering that sometimes the family and love you've been searching for comes in a form you never expected. 💜📚✨

Thankyou Dani and TAA for this ARC!

⭐⭐⭐⭐½
This book was such an emotional and intense addition to the series. Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma completely captured my heart, and I loved the way their relationship unfolded with so much patience, vulnerability, and undeniable connection.
Ally and Wyatt have been true mates since they were young. They have built a life together and never questioned the strength of their bond simply because they are both alphas. Then Gemma enters their lives, wounded, frightened, and running from people she knows she cannot trust, and everything they thought they understood about fate begins to change.

Gemma’s journey was one of my favourite parts of this story. She has been through so much, and the walls she has built around herself are completely understandable. Yet beneath her guarded exterior is someone who is strong, compassionate, and capable of holding her own. Watching Ally slowly earn her trust and seeing the bond between them develop was incredibly emotional.
I was especially worried about Ally and Wyatt because they had already found each other and built such a deep, established relationship. I loved that the story never diminished what they had in order to make room for Gemma. Instead, it showed that their relationship could evolve into something they never knew they were missing. Wyatt’s patience with Gemma was especially beautiful. Even knowing she was his true mate, he never pressured her. He understood that after everything she had endured, she needed time to feel safe before she could allow herself to trust and love again.

And when the three of them finally came together, it was everything. Their connection felt intense, emotional, and incredibly genuine. There was so much vulnerability in allowing themselves to acknowledge what they were becoming to one another, and I loved watching them realize that this was not about choosing between one another. They were stronger together.

The chemistry between them was also incredibly intense, and the spice definitely delivered. But what stayed with me most was the emotional connection underneath it. There was something so powerful about watching these three people find a sense of belonging and love that none of them realized they had been missing.

The suspense surrounding Vargkung added another layer of tension throughout the story. I came into this book with a strong theory about who he was and what was happening, and somehow I managed to be both right and completely wrong. Every time I thought I had things figured out, another piece of the story shifted.
I also loved the found-family aspect of this series. Getting to spend more time with characters from the first book while meeting new ones made the world feel even more connected, and their support for Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma added another emotional layer to the story.

And that ending. The series cliffhanger was brutal. I had so many feelings by the time I reached the final pages, and now I am left desperately needing the next book. After everything that happened here, I have no idea what is coming for Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma, but I know it is going to be intense.

Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma were beautiful together. Their story was filled with emotion, trust, healing, love, and a connection that felt impossible to ignore. I loved watching them find each other, and I cannot wait to see where their story goes next.

Thank you to the author and The Author Agency for the ARC. This review is only my opinion.

Star: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Knot A Problem is an emotional, suspenseful, and unique omegaverse romance that gives us an established alpha couple, a wounded omega who changes everything, and plenty of danger and mystery running through the story.

Ally Winchester and Wyatt James have been together since high school and have never questioned that they are meant to be together. As two bonded alphas, their relationship might be unusual, but they have always believed they are true mates and are completely happy with the life they have built.

Then Gemma Cruz arrives.

Gemma is injured, scared, and on the run, and the last thing she wants to do is trust anyone. But the connection between her and Ally is immediate, and Ally’s alpha instincts go straight into overdrive. She wants to protect Gemma from the moment she meets her, even though Wyatt is much more cautious, especially when he realises Gemma is connected to the very investigation he is working on.

I really liked that Ally and Wyatt already had such a strong relationship before Gemma came into their lives. There was never any doubt about how much they loved each other, which made watching them realise that their bond might have always been missing someone even more interesting.

Ally’s connection with Gemma happens quickly, while Wyatt takes longer to trust her, and I actually enjoyed that difference. It made everything between the three of them feel more believable because Gemma was not simply dropped into an established relationship and everything magically worked straight away.

Gemma definitely pulled at my heart as well. She is guarded and carrying so much fear, but underneath all of that is someone who desperately wants to feel safe and wanted. Watching her slowly begin to trust Ally and Wyatt and understand that she might actually belong with them was one of my favourite parts of the story.

I also enjoyed the suspense running alongside the romance. Wyatt is still investigating the drug ring and arson cases, while Gemma’s connection to everything adds even more questions. Vargkung continues to become more dangerous as he tries to cover his tracks, keeping that tension running throughout the book.

Knot A Problem was a really enjoyable second book in the Mirror Lake series, with plenty of emotion, protective mates, suspense, healing, and spice. I loved the idea that fate does not always come in pairs, and Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma were such an interesting combination to watch come together.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I have come to learn that while I know what to expect from Dani Grimes every new book released shows me another side of this author that I love! The Mirror Lake series continues with Knot a Problem, a story about fated mates who learn that fate always leaves room for more. This book includes why choose, suspense, mystery, and of course spice that leaves you wanting more.

With their relationship going strong since high school, Ally and Wyatt have known for sometime they are forever. Since they are both alphas their bond is a bit abnormal, but they have never questioned or doubted the connection they share. When a drug problem continues to grow around Mirror Lake, Wyatt is determined to find out the source and end it. He is going to keep his territory safe for his pack and others, but this investigation becomes much closer to home than he ever expected. Ally wants her home safe as well, but when a stranger enters her life, it leaves her questioning everything she has known for years.

Gemma enters Ally’s world scared and distrusting. The connection is felt by Ally almost immediately, but how can she be feeling this way when she has been bonded to Wyatt for so long. Wyatt isn’t as trusting as quickly, as Gemma brings up more questions and suspicion for him. But he can’t deny there is something there, he just isn’t sure if it’s positive or negative.

Dani provides readers a wonderful story about honesty with those you love, being comfortable to say the hard part out loud, and how to listen to your partner when they are sharing with you. I adored the conversations that Ally and Wyatt allow themselves to have while they sorted through the feelings Gemma brings up in both of them. And as Gemma let the both into her heart and opened up also, they all found something they were missing.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

✨May contain spoilers✨

I loved the second book so much. I have a feeling each book is only going to get better and better as each book comes out. I just love how Dani does this omegaverse universe.

Ally, Wyatt and Gemma were so beautiful together. We first meet Gemma who is on the run and she is pretty battered up. The way that Ally and her bond after Ally nurses her back to health was beautiful.

I was so scared for Ally and Wyatt because she had found her true mate but had been with Wyatt for a minute since they were young. Wyatt and Ally are both alphas and Gemma is an omega.

With the investigations going on with Wyatt being the sheriff, things get interesting as we find out a little bit more with the plot of Vargkung and his doings.

Wyatt also knew Gemma was his true mate but he decided to give Ally and Gemma some time. He was so patient and so kind with Gemma. After everything she’s been through, he didn’t want to pressure her.

But when these three come together, they were everything they needed that they didn’t know they needed. And the spice was so spicy. I loved that even when Wyatt was outside the door during her heat in the beginning, she still craved him before they even bonded.

And the found family from the friends and family was so perfect. I loved how we get characters from the first book and then we meet some fresh new ones.

Man, when we find out who Vargkung is, I wasn’t really shocked. That ending, though. Can I just say I cannot wait for the next book in this beautiful series because the way that it ended makes me eager for so much more.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

"Being with him feels almost as natural as being with her has felt the last few days." - Gemma

"Is it truly possible for the three of us to be fated for each other? Three pieces of one whole?" - Ally

"I’ll always feel grounded coming home to them, no matter what happens at work." - Wyatt

Ally and Wyatt have been together for years; they are both alphas and are bonded to each other. Everyone is bi in this world, and I love that so much! There's also a mystery going on in this town; somehow Gemma is in the middle of all of that. Ally and Wyatt knew there was always a chance that both of them would find an omega, their true mate, but they never imagined it might be the same person. Ally found Gemma first, and I love that they fell in love faster. Gemma and Wyatt was more of a slower process, but still, this all happened in a short amount of time. They are literally hiding Gemma from everyone. I love that they all had one-on-one moments and how stable Wyatt and Ally always were; they are all made for each other. Gemma showed them that they had true instinct and caring parts that they hadn't felt so intensely before. It's so entertaining to read that Wyatt keeps thinking he's THE Alpha when it's clearly Ally. I mean, she just starts biting him; she can turn! I love reading about mysteries a lot, and Vargkung's POV makes it that much more interesting. Oakley is also so fun, and I can't wait to read her book and to finish the mystery.

Thank you to Dani Grimes and The Author Agency for the ARC of Knot A Chance.

I gave this one 4 stars. I loved the story development that started in Knot A Problem with the drug ring. While some questions were answered from book 1, there were lots more that were left unanswered at the end of book 2. Those unanswered questions make me very excited to read the last book.

At the beginning of the book, we have two perspectives- Ally and Wyatt. These two are bonded alphas which is pretty uncommon but not impossible or unheard of in this universe. They have always questioned what would happen if one of them found an omega. Lucky us - we get to be there for the answer to that question.

Enter Gemma. Gemma is a runaway omega who is being framed for a crime she didn’t commit. Ally finds Gemma outside her bar one evening and instantly knows she must protect her. Thankfully Wyatt feels the same. I love these three getting to know each other and their banter.

Gemma also gets the pleasure of meeting Oakley - Ally’s younger omega sister. They have a fun friendship and Gemma is able to start pushing Oakley to make some relationship decisions she’s been putting off far too long.

I enjoyed the development of this story and look forward to more answered questions in book three including how does the final scene play out and who does Oakley end up with in the end?

I love my omegaverse stories and Dani Grimes definitely joined my list of authors to look forward to!
I already loved the first book in the Mirror Lake Series where we got to meet Ally and Wyatt. Ally was an instant favourite for me and I was excited for her journey. Oh I was not gonna be disappointed. 😮‍💨

I love how there is an ongoing suspense/investigation plot, which keeps the stakes high and adds so much to the world building itself.
One of my favourite elements that the author masters in my opinion is dynamics between the characters! Here we have a couple who is confident in their unusual alpha/alpha bond. That’s when a scared omega enters the picture and suddenly makes the couple think more deeply about what that bond could look like. I liked how it happens naturally, it isn’t forced. They have their own rhythm. The relationship is earned through trust and safety. It feels so healing not only for the characters but as a reader too, seeing the patience, the vulnerability and the open communication.
It was such an emotional journey where the intimacy was beautiful to witness!
The three MCs definitely made their way into my heart and I’m eagerly waiting for the third book in this amazing series!!

Thank you so much Dani Grimes and The Author Agency for this reading opportunity! 🥹💕

Knot a Problem

Book 2 of the Mirror Lake series

Oh my ... highly highly highly recommend reading book 1, jumping in here is OK but you'll miss so much....

Wyatt and Ally are true mates and have been for over 10 years, but they always felt that their bond wasn't as strong as an Alpha/Omega bond because they are both Alphas. But one night when Ally is closing up her bar, she comes across Gemma and everything becomes clearer.

Wow what a read....

Loved watching Ally's nurturing side come one since she is a strong Alpha female that is sassy and said all Onegas smelled. But her reaction to Gemma was so fun. Plus Wyatt and his pillar of support for whatever Ally wants, even if Gemma didn't want him involved, he would moved heaven and hell for.
Gemma and her sas with both Ally and Wyatt is fun, especially with Ally and the dog comments.

Now the reason for Gemma showing up in Mirror Lake, has to do with the drug ring that we know about from book 1.... and the mystery of who Vargkung is is still a mystery... there are hints but even at the end we don't know who it is, just like we don't know who Oakley's (Ally's omega sister) true mate is .... oh book 3 is going to be a roller coaster i can just tell.

I absolutely love this emotional and suspenseful omegaverse world! Knot A Problem was SO good. The suspense and mystery kept me hooked, and I couldn’t put this book down.

Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma were absolutely perfect together. The chemistry between these two alphas and omega was intense, and the spice definitely delivered! 🔥

I loved Ally and Wyatt’s relationship and how much they love and support each other. Watching their connection with Gemma develop was one of my favorite parts. The bond between Ally and Gemma was immediate, and I loved how protective Ally became of her.

And Wyatt was everything! I loved how patient, kind, and protective he was with Gemma. He never pressured her and gave her the space she needed while still being there for her. Watching the three of them navigate their new relationship dynamic was so good

And that ENDING?! 😩 I desperately need the next book!

If you love omegaverse romance, fated mates, established couples, forced proximity, female alphas, and plenty of suspense, definitely add this one to your TBR!

Knot a Problem by Dani Grimes
Book 2 in the Mirror Lake series

Tropes

Female alpha wolf shifter
Fated mates
Established couple
Forced proximity
Small town romance
Romantic suspense

We meet the two alphas in the first book in the series Knot a Chance. Ally Winchester and Wyatt James have been a bonded pair since high school. Ally is a bar owner and Wyatt is the towns sheriff. Wyatt is working himself ragged trying to find who is behind the drug ring and murders happening in their once quiet town. Ally is working late one night when she encounters a smell that is like nothing she has ever smelled before mixed with blood. She finds Gemma, an omega that is bleeding and hurt and all Ally wants to do is take care of her. Gemma is escaping her POS father and has trust issues because of the harm he has caused her. Ally and Wyatt feel the same pull to Gemma and they decide to protect her. As you read more of these three there is still the suspense going on that is just building. I need the final book so we can have al the questions answered and see where the relationships are headed

I’m speechless!!! Wow!
The second book in the series is just as exciting and thrilling as the first!!! All through the story, I kept wondering who Vargkung was!!! Haha, just asking myself that question makes me anxious!!! I’m so afraid I’ll be sobbing uncontrollably when we finally find out who it is!!!

I already knew Alli and Wyatt were a hot couple, but throw the bubbly Gemma into the mix... phew!!! The three of them together are sizzling!!! I love that no one was left out! They each have a unique relationship with one another, yet every single one is perfect and full of tenderness and passion! And can we talk about the steaminess??? Good Lord! It’s giving me hot flashes just thinking about it! Once again, a perfect story with all the ingredients that keep you hooked on the characters and the plot! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and found it really hard to put the book down!

I can barely wait to read the final book, "Knot a Word", coming out on October 9th! There are bound to be rivers of tears!

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

Knot a Problem is the second book in the Mirror Lake series, following Knot a Chance. The books are designed to be read in order, as the larger plot continues throughout the series, as does the character development for many of the characters. Ally and Wyatt were introduced in the first book and we know they are mates that have been together for a long time. They are both alphas and their relationship works for them, although they have never experienced the more tender feelings of having an omega. They are both blindsided by their feelings for Gemma. They never thought there would be anyone else in their relationship and they are knocked back by the protective instincts that kick in the moment they meet Gemma.

Knot A Problem is the second book in the Mirror Lake series, a small-town romance with an established alpha couple and underlying mystery subplot with plenty of emotion, love, trauma, healing and spice.

Ally is a strong, fierce and independent alpha bonded with Wyatt, another alpha, they have built a life together since high school. They both knew that their relationship didn't quite feel whole, that there could be another fated omega out there waiting for each of them. Enter Gemma Cruz.

Gemma has her own past traumas, she is hurt, terrified, and running away from her father. She is wary of Ally and Wyatt, but watching Ally's protective instincts come out that she didn't know she was capable of, she helps to bring Gemma out of her shell and begin her healing journey.

Watching the relationship naturally form between Ally, Wyatt and Gemma, it wasn't forced, it wasn't perfect, it wasn't it instant, it took work from all of them and all their trust in each other to communicate.

Argh, the ending!!! Answers some questions but leaves a lot unanswered, I cannot wait for book 3.

Knot A Problem (Mirror Lake, #2)
by Dani Grimes

Knot A Problem is the second installment in the Mirror Lake series, and it captures everything I love about small-town romance: heartfelt emotion, deep love, personal trauma, healing journeys, a touch of spice, and a compelling mystery.

The story follows Ally and Wyatt, an established alpha couple who have been together since their high school days. Despite their strong bond, they've always felt that something is missing in their relationship. That’s where Gemma Cruz comes in—a traumatized omega on the run from her father, hesitant to let anyone get too close.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the relationship between Ally, Wyatt, and Gemma unfold in such an authentic way. Their connection didn’t happen overnight; it required patience, open communication and trust between them all.
Knot a problem is a great addition to this series.

This is the next book in the series and it's an excellent addition. And it does not disappoint. I was hooked from the beginning. Loved that this omegaverse had a well-crafted narrative with just the right amount of spice. There is loads of emotions, suspense, heart, found family, and more in this. I also loved the dynamics between the characters and how the relationship evolved between all of them, how it all fit together perfectly. Plus the ending was not what I expected. I didn't even see it coming. It was just like bam, I'm here, this is how it's going, and that was that. I loved, loved reading this book. I cannot wait for the next one in the series. Thank you to the author agency and the author for a copy of this. All thoughts are my own and freely expressed.

I've said this before but Dani knows how to write a throuple so we'll. We see not only the love between Wyatt and Ally but how Gemma fits with each one individually and together. Gemma is on the run from the people her d.rug dealer father works for and ends up at Ally's bar. Wyatt being the sheriff is on the lookout for her. Ally and Gemma instantly feel this strong bond towards each other, making Ally wonder if Wyatt is not her only true mate. All three of them grow closer and their relationships develop into more. Vargkung is still out there running his d.rug ring and trying to stay undiscovered by Wyatt and the others.

I devoured this one in a single sitting and DAMN that cliffhanger!!
I don’t read a lot of FFM stories so this was a refreshing change and I really enjoyed it.
As with the previous book in the series, I really like this authors OV world. It’s interesting and a really enjoyable read.
I loved seeing characters from the last book and getting to know everyone more.
I loved Wyatt and Ally. Their relationship was so gorgeous. Adding Gemma to the mix just amped it up in the best way.
I loved the banter, and the love the whole group has.
It was dark-ish, but not at all in the relationship aspects. That was all very sweet (and spicy).
Cannot wait for the next book!!

I am hooked on the series like a kid in the candy store. This is book two in the mirror lake series. If you have not read knot a chance I strongly advise you to read that and then read this book just because I'm a huge particular with series I know they're standalones but still.
I feel like Dani Grimes has done a phenomenal job with the series so far.
This book absolutely amazing characters chemistry was absolutely amazing. The plot stayed on point through the whole book it was just absolutely phenomenal to read.
Now I'm waiting on book 3 because I got a feeling that this is going to be even you're amazing than the first two

This series so far is good. With the twist and turns. Also they were able to find love and happy ending. Now the ending was big cliffhanger, then realized just how close everything connected. Ally and Wyatt relationship filled with trust and so much love. They want what’s best for each other. That this omega just brought them closer together. Gemma is feisty and a bratty woman. I like how she has the freedom to do whatever she wants. Fits right in with this family. Got to see Oakley more little hard to like her during this book. I hope she gets what she wants. I can’t wait to read her book next.

ARC Review
Knot a Problem
By Dani Grimes

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh my God!!! This book had me from the beginning, after the first book and getting to know Ally. Seeing her melt and being all sweet for the Omega she just met had my heart ❤️

The way Gemma and Wyatt came together was so sweet, and I love how much he did everything he could to protect her ❤️

These three are absolutely perfect, and I need more!

BUT can we talk about that plot twist?!?! I was NOT expecting that, my god. And the ending??? I need the next book, know!

"Knot a Problem" is the second book in an Omegaverse romance series and I've been lucky to read it early thanks to The Author Agency. Aside from all of the banter, chemistry and spice, what really strikes me is the emotional parts of this book (and the first). Deeply seeded in this romance and suspense is a story of healing and of finding a place to belong. The found family elements in this series are my absolute fave! Thank you to The Author Agency and Dani Grimes for the chance to read this series!

Thank you to The Author Agency and the author, Dani Grimes for an ARC of this book. This is my favorite in the series so far. I loved it from start to finish. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC copy for the first book as well, so I was really excited to jump back in the world. Ally, Gemma and Wyatt had a great dynamic. I also love that the mystery and drama continues from the first book, but just focusing on another couple. Excited to see how things are going to end up. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

This book was phenomenal! I loved Gemma, Aly, and Wyatts story. Its sad what happened to Gemma but I am glad that she ended up being safe and finding her own family. This is the first book that there has been a female Alpha and I all for it! Then the freaking cliffhanger though! Oh my goodness!!! Like I had a few theories but...man oh man! I need the next book ASAP!
I cannot wait to read the conclusion and hopefully everyone lives happily ever after..but who knows..lol
I recieved an advance reader copy of this book for an honest voluntary review.

Dani Grimes does it again. This is book two in the Mirror Lake series. This book is full of intrigue, suspense, drama and spice. Lots of spice. Ally and Wyatt are two bonded alphas, which is almost unheard of. Ally finds Gemma outside her bar crying. Ally feels an immediate connection with her and takes her home where she meets Wyatt who also feels a connection. Gemma is wanted for setting a fire, except she is being set up. Knot a problem navigates through the possibility of having two true mates while hiding Gemma. And the cliff hanger at the end…will make you scream.

This took me out! MFF and oh wow, it’s hot! They added in an Omega, but the road to get there was something else! She knew instantly that she was meant for her but what really certified it was when she was also his omega. And the story line! Amazing!!! We got answers but the ending will leave you screaming, and wanting more!!! I can’t wait for the next book!!!

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Knot A Problem is book two of the Mirror Lake Series.

Ally and Wyatt were perfect together. Even though they were both alphas, and everyone thought it didn't make sense for them to be together, you could feel the love they had for each other. Then Gemma gets added into their lives and we see how these three work so well together. The story was intense at moments and sensual at others. The ending really left me chomping at the bit for the next book in the series.
