So, I really loved Frank..especially in the other books. He's sweet and honest and a great guy. A total keeper. Amy...I actually didnt like her character. I totally understood she has been hurt and just got a 3rd divorce. I didnt think it was right she "checked him out" before telling him who she was which was his match on the dating agency. I was like ok though because she didnt want to make another mistake but I really think after their first date she should have come clean. In essence she lied. What she did was really unfair. She judged a situation she knew nothing about. She should have been woman enough to ask for an explanation because she didnt even tell him she was with the dating agency. That was kinda low and totally her fault. Just sayin. So, not my favorite of the series. Hope the next is better.

I loved Frank from the the previous book. He was a baker and looking for love. He was more of an older man but still had a lot to give a woman. He truly was a caring man.

I found it funny that Molly’s sister took it on herself to put Molly on a mail order bride site. I could only imagine how I would feel. I would want to strangle my sister if she done something like that. Molly had bad luck when it came to men and was wondering if Shifters would be any different.

I loved how Molly took it on herself to check out Frank in person without Frank knowing who she was. Problem is secrets have a way coming back and biting us. Yeah there ends up being a huge mess and a huge misunderstanding.

Frank will have to figure out some things or he could lose Molly forever. I love the lengths he goes through to win her back. He knows she is the one and will do anything to have his mate by this side.

Truly a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

Frank and Amy are looking for that special someone, the one that makes your heart stop on a dime. And they just found it in each other. (Go figure)
Yet again we have the short story problem of character development but I liked these characters. The town is filling up with mated pairs.

A SWEET TREAT FOR THE BEAR !!!

Wow! I love it! Lola Kidd has done it again. And just what has she done, you ask? Well, she has written another amazing addition to her new Mail Order Mates Series! The Bear's Bride is the third book in her series and it totally rocks! My new nickname for Lola is the Queen of Heart, not hearts, heart because that's what her books have is heart! Every time I read one of her books, I always finish with tears of joy in my eyes, warmth in my heart and a smile on my face. And for me, that's why I love to read. The story is exciting, original, imaginative, fast paced, heartwarming, humorous, satisfying, romantic, arousing and sensual. The dialog is smart, well written and flows beautifully. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, endearing and sexy. She expertly combines these elements into a wonderfully entertaining and deliciously satisfying story for her readers. In this story, we revisit our favorite characters in Sunset Falls, a lovely small town inhabited mainly by shifters. The primary focus in this story is Frank Franklin, a bear shifter who owns Frank's Treats, the town bakery. After having seen Olivia Grey's success obtaining mates for his friends through the Lovely and Kind Brides mail order bride agency, he has decided to sign up himself. It's only been a little less than a week, but his hopes are high that he won't have to wait too long. He is so ready to start a new life with a mate! Amy Alma is fed up with men and relationships. If nothing else, her three divorces have taught her that men are NEVER what they seem and they can NEVER be trusted. Yep, she's done! Unfortunately her sister doesn't get that memo and signs her up with Lovely and Kind Brides - without her knowledge! Oh my! Here we go again! Buckle up my lovelies, we're in for an especially bumpy ride this go round! Get ready for the Sparks to fly! I can hardly wait for the next book in the series. I sure hope it's about Clint and Gwen. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

'I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review'

Frank was surprised when having only been signed up with Lovely and Kind Brides for a week that they found a match for him. Then when he finds out the female may not be interested after all he's a little upset until he meets Amy. He knows right away that she is his mate. But when he tries to take matters into his own hands and do what he thinks is the right thing it all just might blow up in his face.

Amy has bad luck with men. When she finds out that her sister signed her up for Lovely and Kind Brides she is a little upset. Then she is shocked to find out that they found a match for her right away. She decides to go check the guy out without him knowing who she is before she decides if she is interested. She really starts to like the guy however while on a date with him she finds out some disturbing news and leaves.

In my opinion this is the best book of the series so far! I think that the plot and character development was just better. I think that Amy's character was more spot on with how it should be. There was a better flow to the book while reading. I applaud the author for making this a great book! I'm glad I have continued to read this series and I look forward to the next book!

Frank has a successful bakery and good friends, but he's missing family—wife and children. Two of his friends have found their happiness with a Matchmaking service for Shifters. Why not for his bear and him?

Amy has had nothing but bad luck with men and she's not going there again. Well, with the help of her sister she might be, however if she does decide to meet this wonderful guy the Matchmaker has told her about; she is not letting him know. Showing up without a scheduled meeting...

Are they mates? Is Frank all he seems or just one more heartache waiting for Amy?

It is no smooth match. The only thing easy is how they feel, but then their past and misunderstandings get in the way. Can they overcome the issues and concentrate on feelings?

A feel good short read with no cliff hanger. Once again Ms Kidd has captured me in this nugget of goodness.

I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

Communication is key

Frank has been unlucky in the game of love Amy has plain struck out and no longer even wants to try but chance and people that love them and have special connections want them to have them too. Amy's sister is meddlesome but with a great heart at wanting to see her sister fulfilled and happy with a family of her own.

Frank tries his luck after seeing two of his friends find love with a mail order bride and is ready to meet the mate he has always longed for. Until Amy walks into his bakery....

Everyone is holding back trying to protect themselves from hurt and disappointment. But in fact these two are just what the other needs and with a little communication between them it can solve and prevent so much.

Very cute read as book 3 in this series. You won't be disappointed.

I was given a complimentary copy by author Lola Kid for an honest review. This is book 3 of The Mail-Order Mates series by the author.

Frank Franklin is a pastry chef in his town of Sunset Falls. When Lovely and Kind Brides has his perfect match Frank can't wait to see her. Amy Alma has not been lucky in the romance department but now that her sister interfered she might just have to meet this perfect man for her. But can her heart take another rejection?

This book has a great story line and wonderful characters for any reader to enjoy. The author gave the characters very good interaction with each other.

This book is for any paranormal romance book reader. This is book 3 and this book starts where book 2 ends so it is best to read them in order.

This story was so good and probably the best so far. Frank is so cute with his big bear self. He has all the qualities any woman would want and then some. His skepticism of the agency was tested when he received a match so quick that could be his mate. Amy was such a realistic character of today's society that you couldn't do anything but relate to her. Once she meets Frank and hits it off so well she is so close to coming out of her vulnerable spot until there is a mix up in communication. Their struggle was so heartfelt and happily came to a beautiful ending. I hope the rest of the series is just as good as this one. More please.

Another great book in this standalone book series.

This book is part of Kindle unlimited. It is the third book in the series but each book is a standalone book with no cliffhangers. She has given up on love and has been divorced several times. Her sister signs her up for this Mail order bride dating service. He is a bear shifter and we were introduced to him in the other books. When she decides to take a chance and shows about his bakery, everything is going well until she gets a text from her sister. Is he serious about wanting to get married or is he just a player? Enjoyed this book!

Misunderstanding and miscommunications
Frank is such a nice guy that he real deserves a mate. But his match’s application was sent in by her sister and Amy‘s not sure she even want to try and date after three failed marriages. But her interest get peeked when she see his picture. She decides to drive to the town anonymously to meet Frank. As soon as Frank get a whiff of her his interest is fully alerted. But a couple of wrong calls by different people sends Amy running back home thinking the worst of Frank. Well written and very entertaining to read.

First off I want to say that the names totally had me laughing. Frank Franklin and Amy Alma, oh my. They so definitely were a perfect pair. This is the 3rd book in the Mail-order brides series. Out of the 3 books so far, I think by far this is my favorite. Frank just sounds so cuddly and loveable and he bakes sweet treats. I mean what better fantasy is that! The two fated lovers meet, but not as they should and misunderstanding causes some heartache. But there is an HEA at the end. Wish I could have my own Frank Franklin.

Third book in the series was easier to read and had a sweet hunk of a Bear - Frank.

For a large Bear he was a Teddy bear and a sweet shop owner and baker. Perfection.
Well, until his mate.

Amy has 3 failed marriages in her past and huge trust issues.
That took the fun out of the story because for such a short book the drama of separation due to a misunderstanding for me, was unnecessary.

Poor Frank had no idea what hit him because of his comment (which didn't make sense at the time)

They got their HEA but I was not thrilled.

Another short, and cute read in the series. I kind of like how short these are now. They aren't a serial (thank goodness), as there is definitely a beginning, middle, and ending for each one, but each short story focuses on another resident of the town and his part in trying to revitalize it. I like how short they are because the drama has to be resolved quickly. So it's a nice change of pace from some of the other books I read that lead you through the wringer. Sometimes you just need a break and this series is a good one for that.

Frank finds his mate!

This is book 3 of the mail order mates series. Each book in the series is wonderful. You feel for Frank as he struggles to find his mate. Amy is recovering from her last bad marriage but has decided love is not in her future. When her sister signs her up for online dating, she does not think it will work. This is the wonderful story of how Amy gets her bear and how Frank catches his mate. Love this story. Check out the series it is fun.

I have read each one of these as they have come out and enjoy all of them. This one is my favorite. Amy has stuck out on love every time she opens her heart. Frank owns a bakery in a town that the people are trying to bring it back to life. Frank has never run into his mate, but after the luck all the other guys have had try's the mail order bride. In a short time they find his mate, but he meets a woman. This story is strong and gets better with everyone I read.

Dessert could never be wrong

Frank is a baker and owns his own shop. Just one bite of his brownie and Amy knew she had to meet this guy well, bear shifters in person. They were already a a perfect t match according to LKB mail order bride agency. They just had to come together after a misunderstanding. One apology and one he'll of a make out session got things back on the ball. Loved a three books. Cannot wait for book 4.

Another great Mail Order bride book by Lola. This time she didn’t make it so easy for them. There was miscommunication and heart ache. But it was worth it.
Amy has a lot of baggage and trusting easily dosent come to her anymore so for her she cant belive what she sees in Frank.
Frank dosent know she is his bride. So he makes a few mistakes but is because he didn’t know.
I cant wait to see what happens in book 4. Keep up the good work Lola.

Liked the first half

I really liked the first book in the series, but skipped the second after reading a few reviews. This one kind if lost me for a bit after a silly misunderstanding by the character Amy. Even with her justifiable mistrust after 3 failed marriages, it seemed a little to easy for her to give up at the first sign of trouble. I enjoyed best the description of the characters and feeling of a familial community in their small shifter town.

The hero here is cute, but the story was full of misunderstandings.

- I liked the hero from the first book, he was the type who could vent ur heart to him and he would still be there patting u on the back

- I didn't like the misunderstanding that the heroine created, ok she wanted to come and check out her match in incognito and all but man it might have ruined the good thing they were having.

Overall, *thumbs up*

Fantastic

I absolutely loved The Bear's Bride. I have read each in the series, and each one is better than the last. I liked Frank's character when he was mentioned in the first book, and was so glad he got his own mail order bride. Amy was the perfect match for him, and their interaction was marvelous. I am so looking forward to reading the next installment.

i just read books one through three. I like to read a complete series unless it is too horrible to stomach. this series was ok but way to over the top with the couples. the story at least was written in such a way th as t I kept reading but sticky sweet and unrealistic acceptance of the plot points.

Lola Kidd has a wonderful way with writing. I love her match making shifters!! Franklin is the town baker and he signed up a while back. Amy's sister signed her up and there is a miss understanding that you have to read the book to see what happens. I love this series. It is funny and just a perfect fun read!

Cute series!

These are the books that you pick up when you're in the mood for a light read that'll make you smile, with a happily ever after ending. I'd love to go to Sunset Falls, have dinner at Two Wolves, spend the night at the Lunar Motel, and have breakfast at Frank's Treats. It would be fun to meet and chat with the characters from the series!
