Was originally gonna finish Catcher in the Rye but it was honestly a bit of a downer. my friend got this book for me & I needed a quick pick up encouraging kind of book. this book taught how to....
1) figure who I am, 2) learn how to love oneself first before learning to love anyone else, 3) how to develop a healthy relationship with people, 4) learn how to let go of negativity, and 5) how to deal with change. it’s refreshing quick read, not necessarily in Christian perspective, but still aligns with my beliefs. I love how we also get to learn about the author’s struggles and see how she overcomes them and is willing to help the readers how she did it.
