Bridget was mentioned in another of Alice Tate's books and since then I've been curious of her story and how she'd emerge from the Omega Center. I am also absolutely thrilled there is Filipino representation here as well (as a fellow Filipina). When I read that my heart filled with so much joy as it's not often to read books with Filipino representation.
I love a good spicy book as any spicy reader but this gave me the angst and yearning I was looking for as well as the elevated spice. I felt the passion, burning love, and serious protectiveness from these men and I felt immediately jealous of the three men who gave her everything she has deserved since fleeing her family.
There was mystery, there was danger, there was banter, there was love, and there was overcoming self preservation. This was a real story that didn't lose the plot whenever acts of spice came into play. When things got hot, it flowed with the story instead of becoming something thrown in there to appease an audience. Without giving too much away, the dynamic between the men, especially after considering a new pack member, felt all too real. There was humor between them- with one being the mediator, one the impulsive man, and the other very stern- like a *eye roll* boys will be boys kind of way lol!
UGH "princess" as a pet name makes my knees week every time. And making her get herself off without touching her?? Ate it up!!
The gym scene with Gabriel and Bridget??? HOTTTT
Her first time?? so pleasantly sweet and needy.

Follow Your Heart was such an enjoyable read! This was my first book by Alice Tate, and I was immediately drawn into Bridget’s story. Watching her navigate the challenges of her omega designation while starting a new job at a research lab made for a unique and engaging journey. The STEM setting added an interesting layer to the story, and I loved how the scientific elements were woven into the plot without overwhelming the romance.
Bridget was a character I found easy to root for. Her growth, healing, and determination to find her own voice after a difficult past felt authentic and emotional. The slow-burn tension between Bridget and Nathan kept me invested, and their gradual realization of their feelings had me turning pages to see what would happen next.
I also loved the supporting cast, especially Andrew and Gabriel. Their dynamic brought extra heart to the story, and every character felt like they had an important role to play. The found-family vibes, mystery elements, and twists throughout the book kept things interesting, while the themes of healing and overcoming trauma added depth.

This story follows Bridget who has been fighting her omega designation her whole life, for good reason! After a traumatic upbringing, she starts her first “big-girl” job at a research lab where things aren’t all as they seem. We watch the mystery unfold as our FMC finds her voice, comes to terms with her designation, and gets into some steamy situations along the way.
Follow Your Heart has diverse characters, great commentary on trauma, and some juicy twists and turns. While the lab jargon can be a little hard to follow, as a fellow nerd, I appreciated the way research brings some of the characters together. The storytelling is easy to follow, steady-paced, and felt true to the characters.
Overall, I enjoyed this read! I felt connected to Bridget and was able to experience her emotions with her. I also loved that every main character serves a purpose and felt integral to the story. If you appreciate mystery, found-family, forced-proximity, healing past trauma type stories, I would totally give Follow Your Heart a go.

What I Loved:
Honestly, this is my 1st Alice Tate read and definitely won't be my last. I am highly impressed by the angst, tension, and slow burn that was achieved in a bit over 300 pages. I absolutely loved the relationship development, the plot development, and the spice was well earned and beautiful. Furthermore, I also loved the diversity of our pack. No one felt repetitive or unnecessary to the story either.
What Didn't Work (for me):
I was smiling & set to give this story a full 5 ⭐ review because I was having big positive emotions and a great time. However, the last couple of pages that typically cement my happiness for a group, provided negative emotions for me personally. I can't explain without giving spoilers. It honestly probably is a me thing as I'm still new to Omegaverse 😅 but I ended the book unfulfilled.
Verdict:
I did have an absolutely amazing time 99% of the story and do highly recommend jumping in! This book had great elements, great build, intense plot, and hot 🔥 moments that were hard earned.

I got the arc for this book!
4⭐️’s! This was my first book from Alice Tate and I’m excited to read her other books! The pacing for this book was easy to follow and the world building (and science involved, because our fmc is a woman in STEM 🖤) was phenomenal!
Bridget works in a lab alongside Nathan and the amount of UNAWARENESS they had towards their feeling of eachother was killing me! To be fair, once we learned both of their back stories you get the WHY but the buildup and waiting for them to realize their feelings was 🙌😍.
Once Andrew and Gabriel were introduced, I was HOOKED! The alpha/beta dynamic, and their LOVE 😍 Gabriel was so freaking cute!!
I definitely recommend this book! It is a fast read that’ll have you hooked within the first couple chapters!

i wanna start this out by saying i did love this book!
i loved the connection between the characters, this is the first book i read from this author and it seems to be in a series where i don’t really understand the world.
one thing i didn’t enjoy was all the science talk, i don’t understand it so it was really hard for me to follow along and most of the story was science talk so this was a hard read for me..
i assume this book will have a sequel because i do have a lot of unanswered questions so just putting that out there!!

Follow Your Heart was such an amazing and enjoyable read! This was my first book out of the Fairview omega verse series , and I was immediately drawn into this story and characters. Watching all the different characters navigate through their challenges was such an amazing experience for me.
Starting with Bridget watching her learn and experience life as omega.All while starting a new job at a research lab based on her genes made for a unique and engaging journey. I think people who love STEM would also love the story because it wasn’t an overpowering STEM story, but we were still getting the romance between all of the characters. The story didn’t put me to sleep. It honestly had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down. I had to read it in one sitting just because it was so good.
The slow-burn tension between Bridget and the other three male characters was so amazing. I couldn’t get enough of their gradual growing feelings had me turning pages to see what would happen next.
It has so many different tropes like:
Mystery
Found family
Forced proximity
Why choose
Slow burn and extreme tension
Honestly, if you like any of those, I would definitely give this book ago. I absolutely loved it and I can’t stop talking about it. Now I just need to get my hands on the rest of the series.

It wasn’t bad per say. I’d say this is a 2.75. It felt very unfinished. Why did all the sudden the cells start creating an immune response. That was never answered. Was Lizbeth or whatever her name was involved? What actually happened with Andrew’s career. Those are big plot points I feel like should have been answered.
I did like that the men felt unique. Sometimes in why choose they get the generic copy paste personalities and I didn’t find that here. I do wish we explored more of Gabriel’s sexuality because he was firmly in the gay camp until suddenly he wasn’t but there wasn’t much explored there.

I enjoyed this read. It was a quick easy ready and a nice palate cleanser between some darker reads on my TBR. This other is new to me so I am not sure if this is part of a series. My only criticism would be I feel like there were some big questions I still had at the end of the book. Which I understand if there will be another book that will answer those questions and if that is true it was a great cliff hanger and would leave me wanting to read the next book. If there is not another book to answer my question I wish it had a cleaner finish. So other then wishing for me I enjoyed the book.

1) The story flowed nicely though out, and had good pacing as well as an appropriate amount of burn.. slow to medium burn.
2) The tension and build up between the characters didn’t feel rushed or “too soon”.
3) I love a HEA.
The only reason it’s a 4⭐️ is because I do have a couple of unanswered questions. Like; what happened to her mom and I have a question about one of pack members bond.
Would 💯 recommend for fans of omegaverse!

This book was a slow burn and totally worth it. Bridget was an Omega that hadn't really followed the traditional path and was working as a researcher in a lab. This brought Nathan, Andrew, and Gabriel (2 Alphas and a Beta) into her life. This book had a little something for everyone: action, suspense, betrayal, romance and more. Even more I liked the development of actually forming a pack/ found family, with a bit of an enemies-to-lovers trope in there. It was an easy read that had me trying not to yell at those interrupting my reading time.

Got Arc copy of the book and I loved it. Bridget is a strong independent character that had to work on accepting help. I loved that she had a full time career and was getting a strong education. I loved all the male leads they each had a different personality but were all so understanding with her. I like that the book allowed for the relationships to grow. I would love a book about how Andrew and Gabriel met.

Alice Tate’s omegaverse romances are always such fresh, fun reads and this is no exception! A true slow burn with a satisfying payoff, I enjoyed watching Bridget develop from a closed off and shy girl to someone empowered by the people around her. Tate perfectly nailed the balance of the three MMCs - protective, sensitive, supportive. I loved the dynamics between all the characters. My new favorite from Alice!!

I really enjoyed this book! It was my first book that I’ve read of Alice’s and I was hooked fairly quickly! I normally can guess the twists authors try to introduce so I’m always surprised when an author gets me with something! I won’t say with what because I’m not a big fan of spoilers in reviews but I genuinely enjoyed this read! It was a nice take on the omegaverse and I always love a good why choose.

4⭐️ I may not have understood the science in this book but I definitely understood the trauma. This is a found family, low spice, high drama Omegaverse. I loved the pack building dynamic. I love each member in this pack for their own reasons.
