The Billionaire’s Contract Bride: A Marriage of Convenience Billionaire Romance with a Powerful Hero, Fierce Heroine, Family Secrets, and Dangerous Attraction

Rate this book
A ruthless billionaire. A marriage contract. A bride who refuses to be owned.

Marrying Lucian Ashcroft was never part of Mara Ellison’s plan.

But when a ruthless billionaire offers a contract that could protect them both, Mara agrees to become his temporary bride. The rules are simple. Keep the marriage public. Keep the emotions private. And never forget that every promise has a price.

Lucian Ashcroft is powerful, controlled, and impossible to read. Mara knows better than to trust a man who treats marriage like a business deal. Yet behind the sharp suits, penthouse glamour, and boardroom power, she finds a man fighting battles of his own.

As family pressure rises and the line between duty and desire begins to blur, their carefully negotiated arrangement starts to feel dangerously real.

In a world built on wealth, secrets, and control, falling in love may be the one breach neither of them can survive.

The Billionaire’s Contract Bride is a sizzling contemporary billionaire romance with marriage-of-convenience tension, emotional stakes, family drama, luxury, secrets, and unforgettable chemistry.

good plot written difficult

The plot is there but the 1 to 2 word replies leave much to be desired. The FMC and MMC have the emotions of a wet paper bag. Robotic replies. I get they are cold characters on the exterior who hold the world at arms reach, due to the professional world in which they work and a word were reactions and emotions are used as weapons, but I feel that this book could have been a 4 star read if written differently. It felt very AI.

It have been trying to read this for days and cannot get into it. 1. It’s extremely slow in my opinion. 2. I CANNOT stand the FMC. She is beyond annoying and I do love a strong female lead but she is just annoying.

so so

Good story line, but read like a contract. No emotion in this book. Had to skip several pages to get to the end
