Very cute... short and sweet!

I'm not sure what people are expecting from a novella. I know what I am getting the moment I start reading it. Something short and sweet. Something cute and adorable with a little spice. This is a palate cleanser. Something to read after a dark romance. Or when I've read a book where the MMC is such an alphahole that I want to throw my kindle against a wall (one reason I miss physical books... I can't throw my kindle).

I read these so I can get away from all these author's that write their FMC as weak, spineless doormats that have body betrayal syndrome. In these short novellas, you get instalust, then instalove and zero body betrayal because everyone is on board, but what I like most of all is that MMC is usually possessive in a way that makes you have to fan yourself 😍. So, if you're not looking for that, then steer clear of these books and don't tank the rating. It's meant to be indulgent for about an hour... not intellectual.

Needless to say, I enjoyed this thoroughly and will be checkingvout more this authors books so I can INDULGE!

Cute and sexy! Her somehow randomly guessing his real name mid sex was highly unbelievable, but easy enough to overlook

Short and sweet. It had an appropriate amount of spice for the length of the book. A good plot that developed just enough to make sense for a short read.

Crow

Who would have known a hit man and a librarian would be perfect for each other. These two were two half of each other's soul.

This was such a fun, easy read!

These are the kinds of books I reach for when I'm in a reading slump. They aren't overly complicated or something that will completely consume my thoughts, but they are a great time and exactly what I need when I want something entertaining and enjoyable.

A fun story, a good escape, and the perfect palate cleanser between heavier reads!
